Paper Mario Thousand Year Door HD remake possibility and petition

Posted

when gamexplain interviewed the person who made sticker star and color splash, they asked her whether if she would like to remaster the thousand year door and she said yes or at least something within those lines. With a lot of paper mario fans preferring the old style of gameplay that existed with the first two paper mario games, it would mean sense for those fans to support the remaster on the wii u and/or the NX. What do you guys think?

I think the Thousand Year Door looks just fine and there's nothing that needs to be fix,so I'd rather buy it as a virtual console game for 20$ then have a remaster for 40$ or 60$.I'd rather see a true sequel instead

I think if the thousand year door gets remastered, they'll realize that this is the type of games fans wanted for years and that's when they'll hopefully make a paper mario game for the NX just like the first two paper mario games. This is why I think the thousand year door should get remastered first.

Nintendo are aware already that fans prefer the fist two games, they follow social media and all that stuff so they already knew the negativity from Sticker Star but chose to ignore it and make Color Splash regardless.Color Splash won't sell well and I'm sure they already know this

Ooh, I remember Thousand Year Door! I only played a bit of it when I was in California visiting my brother back in 2004! I loved what I played of the game, and I wish I could have been able to play it completely!  A Remaster sounds like a fine idea to me! :D

But then of course, I'd have to get a Wii U, and frankly, it's not within my plans to get a Wii U, so yeah...maybe it would come out for the NX? Cuz if the NX piques my interest, I may end up getting it when the time is right, ya know? :3

which just shows how stubborn nintendo is

Also, this is impressive for a Nintendo petition:

https://www.change.org/p/nintendo-let-s-get-paper-mario-the-thousand-year-door-remastered?recruiter=54416022&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=share_twitter_responsive

The petition as of now has about 32 signators only its full. I know that nintendo usually doesn't listen to petitions, but if they see this, they might do it. Don't get me wrong. I doubt that if this petition gets enough votes nintendo will listen to it. Heck I made a petition for a twilight princess HD to happen before nintendo confirmed it and coincidentally the game eventually got released whether or not it was because of my petition, so in all honesty anything can happen. Just because nintendo doesn't listen to petitions in the past doesn't mean that some won't get their attention

Some things that support that nintendo may consider looking at the petition is when the director of the sticker star and color splash said that they'll remake the thousand year door HD if there is enough support for it and one way to know that there's enough support for the remaster is to check out a petition right?
