This Subscriber Purge is getting annoying.

Posted

Hey guys I know it's been a while since I posted but I wanted to talk about this whole sub purge thing and how it's affecting a lot of youtubers. PewDiePie for example lost 600k that's insane! I cant even fathom losing that many. This thing needs to stop and YouTube needs to get their crap together, if this was simply getting rid of inactive Subscribers than i'm all for it. Better off without those, but it seems like that's not the case, according to a tweet YouTube put out about it along with their bio. https://twitter.com/YouTubeI originally had 176 Subscribers then when the purge had happen I went from that to 146. I woke up yesterday and saw that all my subscribers returned which made me happy. Then like 30 minutes ago, I suddenly lost 14 and now i'm at 162. I came here because I know a good amount of my subscribers are from you guys and I just wanted to make sure all of you are still subscribed, https://www.youtube.com/user/xTheOnlyProdigyx757Thanks for reading this post, I really appreciate it. Hopefully YouTube fixes their problems soon.

While the purge is annoying, understand that it's likely not the YouTube team's fault that it's happening. They seemed to have no idea what was going on, so we can't exactly pin the problem on them. They said they're working on a fix, so we just have to trust them for now.

If I actually had content to gain subscribers with, I'm sure I'd take this a whole lot more personally, but it is still a pretty big deal for everyone who has worked hard to get those.
