Mirage Realms (Enemy Dungeons/Boss Rush with 4 Player Co-op) Idea

Posted

I would love to see Square make a brand new mode by the time the story ends, and this mode would introduce a whole dungeon-based system where you have to find 3 other players online, and battle your way through heartless infested stages based off the worlds from the game, with a boss waiting at the end of every stage.

Here's how it would work:

You enter the mode through the Quest menu, and there will be stages ranging from Easy to Extreme difficulties. Each stage will contain a single, boss from the game, and one for each difficulty. Upon selecting a stage and difficulty, you can choose to either Invite or Join other players in Matchmaking. Once players are all set, they dive in, and the objective is to eliminate all nearby hearless before moving onto the next area. Once you complete all areas within a stage, you will face the final boss of that stage, the boss having extreme stats far different from the ones in the storyline, like Mirage Arena in BbS. After defeating the boss, your party is rewarded with different rewards for each member, depending on how each of you ranked. You split from your party and are brought to the main menu screen.

What do you guys think? Would you love if Square did something like this by the time the story of this segment of the franchise ends in September (which is the X Chi storyline first, which will then follow to the mobile versions possibly in the upcoming months)?
