Following up from a previously similar post, has anyone looked for any subtle differences between the Japanese and English translations that might clear things up in this game? One example I could find was the scene with Ava and Ephemera:

Japanese:

Ephemera: Hey, would you tell me the secret of the Tome of Prophecy?

Ava: Absolutely not.

English:

Ephemera: Hey, maybe talking about the book will cheer you up.

Ava: Not a chance.

In the Japanese version, it seems to me that Ephemera wants to know about the tome's secret specifically while the English version implies that he wants to talk about the book in general. As for Ava's response, it is a matter of how she behaves as a figure of authority and/or power so I prefer to stick with her "absolutely not" line because it gives her a strict character.

Feel free to submit any other differences (in Kingdom Hearts Unchained X only) if you can find any.

I agree but I think this this applies to the KH series in general. Translation in general. A good english translation preserves the meaning/context/emotion of what was said. But some things get lost, sometimes completely cut, like Kairi's extra line in the Japanese KH1 ending, which roughly translates to ''your feelings have reached me, Sora''

It's not a big problem, but I feel like I see the characters very differently to fans who don't understand a lick of Japanese sometimes. A bit of their personalities seem to sometimes get lost, if that makes sense. Instead of taking the choices of words 100% literally, people should look at the context of what was said. There are some werid lines in KH but they make perfect sense in context.

I find it silly that they changed Ephermera's name, like americans would think it's too feminine or something because it ends in a  xD

I can appreciate that, yet this section of differences is specifically for Kingdom Hearts Unchained X and if you have any differences to share, feel free to do so.
