Posted August 8, 20169 yr just wondering because the anime has been airing since early this year. I'm asking this because I prefer english dubbed over english subbed
August 8, 20169 yr Author Doubtful, if there is ever going to be It wont be for a long time that's interesting because there are anime like tales of zestiria the x and danganropa 3 that are getting english dubbed a month after the subbed version released
August 8, 20169 yr That's true, I guess it depends on how big is it overseas and if it can get a big enough budget
August 8, 20169 yr Author That's true, I guess it depends on how big is it overseas and if it can get a big enough budget according to some people, re zero is popular in the west, so shouldn't it be getting a dub or at least a confirmation of it? Edited August 8, 20169 yr by Zeldablade7
August 8, 20169 yr Well if the people up top are aware of it then id think it'd get one. Give it some time and there might be one out there. If not well theres alqays dandubs
August 9, 20169 yr Well, it hasn't even finished airing yet so probably not for a long while but yeah like you said, it is quite popular and big so hopefully it does at some point. Anytime soon tho I doubt.
August 11, 20169 yr It depends on who buys the rights for U.S. distribution. If it's Funimation, it should've either had a broadcast dub, or will have one announced a few weeks after it ends in Japan. For example, Danganropa 3 and Tale of Zetstiria the X are licensed by Funimation, so they have broadcast dubs, since they are fairly popular. I don't see Re:Zero on Funimation's website, so I'm assuming they don't have the rights to it. You might have to wait for someone else to pick it up, like Sentai. In some unfortunate circumstance, it may never be bought, and may never get a dub.
