So as some of you may already know, I have a friend who plans to get married within the next year. This may have been something I've been looking forward to for a long time, but right now it's done nothing but cause me trouble. First the was the whole bridesmaid thing, which honestly isn't her fault. Doesn't change the fact that it made me feel like crap, lowered my confidence which I desperately need right now, and makes the situation just plain awkward. But she didn't do it to hurt me. She did tell me I could do save the date cards, and we even talked about them. But the other day when I sent her some mock ups, she told me that she already made cards but "Thanks anyway." You have got to be kidding me. Now, I know she said that she didn't really like hers, but COME ON. I don't care if you're an artsy person. If you already told someone they can do something you don't go back on your word. Especially if you've already taken away something the've been hoping for. I really want to sight up tell her to cut the crap, but she's fighting depression, the wedding is stressing her out, and she's in therapy because her knee is bugging her. What do I do and... OMG, when did her wedding become all about me?
