The hilt of the keyblade is designed after this game's Camera Obscura with the handle being inspired by Maya's design. The shaft of the blade is formed from the ghostly essence from the Purple Diary. The Teeth is formed like a hand from the ghostly essence. The token is the amulet found within the diary. The World Logo is the infamous book. The name comes from a synonym of "Book" and "Tome" as well as the bonds of Maya.
