The novel was originally announced for the west back in June 2019 and had a initial release date on December 10th, 2019 but was delayed to today. The novel has been available in Japan since January.

I actually already got this book and finished reading it the same day I got it. The book was really good. The only problems I had with the book is the Union your character is placed in, but other than that it is a better version of telling the events that lead up to the Keyblade War due to the book cutting down on the Disney worlds that your character goes to which is great since the game drags the Disney worlds on and on, and not getting to the important stuff. I also have the novels of BBS, Re: coded, and DDD. All of the other KH titles that I own are in manga form.
