Upcoming KH13.com project & Kingdom Hearts at E3 2011

While we haven't had many updates to report in the last couple days, not to worry! That's because we've been working behind-the-scenes to bring you a major new section of KH13.com. While we aren't going to tell you what it is yet, we can tell you that this new section is on the scale of our Videos and Gallery sections. So, what do you think it is? Let us know by leaving a comment at our forum.
Secondly, we wanted to discuss E3 2011 with you. E3 2011 has been the subject of much discussion lately. While it is certain that Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance will appear at the event, it is unknown if any other future Kingdom Hearts titles will appear or not. However, we could like you to check out this reasoning of why other Kingdom Hearts titles WILL appear. It is written by Grass from KHInsider and is very informative and well-reasoned.

Confirmation of Kingdom Hearts 3D at E3 2011

Game Informer have announced a list of games that are confirmed to appear at E3 2011, the upcoming event. Kingdom Hearts 3D appears on this list. Although we previously knew that the game would make an appearance due to an announcement last year by Tetsuya Nomura, this is the first confirmation we have received from a third party. While other Kingdom Hearts titles are not yet confirmed to appear, the possibility exists. Please keep checking back as we announce more news relating to E3 2011, which starts in 19 days.

E3 2011 page created, floor plan revealed

E3 2011, the gaming event occurring in only 21 days, has had its floor plan revealed. This can be seen below, in our gallery, with the Square Enix exhibit highlighted. Also, in order to provide you with the most up-to-date information concerning E3 2011, we have created a dedicated page for it on our website, which can be accessed from the new Events section. Square Enix trademarks "SE MASTERPIECES" in Europe

Square Enix have registered the trademark "SE Masterpieces" in Europe. This trademark, uncovered by NeoGAF, covers video games, as well as printed media and digital distribution. While it is unknown exactly what "SE Masterpieces" refers to, there is a good possibility that it is a re-release of past Kingdom Hearts titles. Square Enix have used "Masterpieces" in the past to refer to a Kingdom Hearts re-release, specifically a packaging of Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts II in Japan titled Kingdom Hearts: Trinity Master Pieces. However, it remains to be seen what this new video game from Square Enix is. Hopefully we will find out more as we lead up to E3 2011, which is in only 22 days.

But first, the winners of our last competition... earlier, we asked you which characters would be involved and how in the upcoming game, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. Re:Chain of Memories, English cutscenes added

Higher quality versions of the English cutscenes from Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories have been added to our video archive. There are 99 cutscenes, and all have been extracted from the game, meaning they are in amazing quality and look clean due to the lack of subtitles. Kingdom Hearts manga, After Closing The Door added

After Closing The Door is a rare chapter of the Kingdom Hearts manga. This chapter, which is otherwise known as "The short stories SELECTION 1", can now be viewed at our gallery in English thanks to taimea. It deals with Sora, Donald and Goofy after the epilogue of Kingdom Hearts. The chapter can be seen below, in our gallery.

Problems & suggestions for KH13.com

We've created a topic on our forum where people can report any problems with KH13.com, or suggest any features you would like us to add. These will then be given an ID, and added to a list where you can track their progress. Hopefully this should allow for more improvements. For problems with the content on any games or media pages, please report to our Content Project forum.

Kingdom Hearts III and worlds, characters in Dream Drop Distance?

Couple of things today. Firstly, we've created a page for Kingdom Hearts III which comprises together everything we know about the game. You might have things you want to add to the page, and of course, you can do that here in our Content Project. Secondly, our worlds section is now complete. This includes a complete story synopsis for each world. Thanks to everyone who contributed! Now, we're working on characters and aim to have the majority done before E3 2011.
And now, we come to you with a question. Today's question is what characters do you think will be featured in Kingdom Hearts 3D, and what will their involvement be? As usual, give your answer at our forum, and the best answers will be chosen and featured on the website. We look forward to you participating!

With E3 2011 around the corner, what can we expect?

This is just a little update today to get you excited for E3 2011, as well as the many projects we have planned in the meanwhile. But first, what is E3 2011? Well, if you don't know, it's short for the "Electronic Entertainment Expo", which is an event held every year in Los Angeles where upcoming video games are often shown. This year's E3 is in only 29 days, starting on June 7 and concluding on June 9.
Last year, Tetsuya Nomura confirmed that he will be appearing at the event. Also, there is a possibility of other games being mentioned, such as Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep -Volume Two- or Kingdom Hearts III. This is sure to break the news drought we've been having, and KH13.com are determined to cover the event in its entirety.
However, that doesn't mean you have to wait 29 days for new content! As exciting as E3 2011 may be, we also have plenty of other things planned for you. These are outlined below.
- We are in the process of adding a blogs section and member gallery section to KH13. These will allow you to maintain a blog on our site, and upload all fan images you have made, as well as see that of others. The galleries will form the basis of our upcoming graphics competitions. Both sections are up and running at the moment, but are in the process of being styled.
- Another important feature we want to bring you is the capability to comment on all pages of the website. This means the videos, games, media and gallery sections. Although this has not been done yet, it is coming in the next week or so, so keep an eye out! This will allow better integration between the site and the users, allowing people to submit edits for pages and get more involved in our projects.
- Speaking of projects, a lot of work has been done in the Content Project recently. Focus has mainly been on the worlds section, however you are free to jump in and participate anywhere. We hope to have a lot more written by the time E3 2011 comes around.
So, there are some things to look forward to! As always, feel free to submit your suggestions and comments at our forum.
