(So... where is all this happening, ecause I kinda want Saren to get involved.) Roxas slowly got up, he sighed holding his head. "You okay?" Saren asked helping him, Roxas nodded. "Yeah, just tooka bad fall..." he said, Saren nodded. "SO Pete?" he asked. Roxas nodded. "I walked towards the rock, then it just went blank, i guess PEte made a trap, funny of him." he said, Saren nodded. "How'd you know it was Pete?" he asked. Roxas sighed. "I recognized the voice." he said. Saren nodded.

Saren immediately slashed through the heartless and kicked towards Pete, who fell back into some crates which broke under his weight, he coughed. "yeesh... wow..." he said. he slowy got up, but then Saren appeared over him and slammed him down, he hit the ground hard. "Agh..." he said, panting. "If... If Maleficent was here... You'll all be sorry!" he yelled, fallignm back, he summone d a portal and fell through. Saren stared at it. 'MAleficent... that name...' he thought to himself. 'she died... I killed her, so this was one of her cronies.' he thought in his mind. he slowly felt some sort of feeling. "Wasn't there someone with me? when I defeated her, a man in black came... I didn't fight him... but... someone did... but who?' he asked in his mind, he felt a small pain. "Agh." he groaned. Axel opened up the cages, then opened up Roxas' he slowly came to.

"What?" pete asked towards Axel, he sighed. "I've known your ancestor, he was a blundering fool." he said, Pete got angry. "Oh yeah? well I'll show you who's blundering!" he yelled. Saren sensed a small energy spike, he looked to Axel. "This is a different Pete, so be careful." he said, Axel nodded. his chakrams appeared in his hands, both red and spiked. Saren held out his hand and summoned his keyblade, Pete smirked, then rolled up his sleeves... then summoned heartless.

Saren nodded and walked with Axel, he could sense something... dark. they finally reached the light which was actually an illuminated cave, around there were cages. Saren could see the trapped lions, he looked amung them, one was a black cloaked teenager. "Roxas!" Axel yelled, he was easily knocked out. "Hm, didn't expect to see anyone here." a voice said, Saren turned to see a strange... cat man? SAren staired at him. "and you are?" he asked. "Pete's the name... well Peter the 26th, but that's not the point." he said, he was wearing some sort of suit. he was a big fellow, seemed somewhat catlike, but also a bit doglike, he had a rather large belly. Saren staired at him. Axel rolled his eyes.

Saren and Axel walked around the rock, it was very hollow inside. 'place seems damp.' he thought to himself. he kicked at some of the rocks, some colapsed and fell in on themselves. "Axel?" HE asked, Axel looked at the small hole that appeared. -meanwhile- Vexen looked out the window, Luxord stepepd towards him. "something on your mind?" he aske,d Veen sighed. "Lot's... actually." he said, Luxord nodded. "Alright, let's hear it out then." he said, Veen sighed. "Xion dissipeared, the strange chain binding her here has been severed." he said, Luxord nodded. "No problem, she's not really a valuable asset." he said, Vexen nodded. "Yes... but still... and then there's Saren..." he said, Luxord chuckled. "him? what do you mean?" he asked, Vexen turned to him. "He's acting very different, perhaps there's something he knows... we do not." he said, Luxord sighed. "Well, I suppose you can ask him yourself when the time comes." he said. Vexen nodded. -meanwhile- Saren and Axel fell for a short distance and hit the ground, they were in a hollow cave, Saren saw light at the end of the tunnel. "This way." Axel said leading, Saren followed.

Alessa nodded. "Yeah, he does like that kind of thing." she said, Saren nodded. "And you?" he asked, she sighed. "I guess I could go and watch." she said, he smiled. "Good, we finally got you out of that shell." he said proudly, she rolled her eyes. "Right, well I think I should head back." she said, Donald and Goofy sighed. "Do you hafta go?" Goofy asked, Alessa nodded. "Not much for me to do here."

Jacobs sighed. "intresting... dog." he said, Marina chuckled, then picked him up. Jacobs then looked to her. "Alright, just give me a couple days, and I'll join up." he said, Marina nodded. he then sighed. "Anything else you need?" he asked. -meanwhile- Quentin froze there, Leslie was back to her old self... but something was at the back of his mind. 'what about Emily?, she helped you take care of your daughter while this chick slept.' it said in his mind, he immediately stepped back, catching Leslie off guard. the door opened, Emily along with some nurses came in, she saw what happened, then sighed. She was holding Alessa's hand. Quentin looked at her, then sighed, looking down.

The king smiled. "But security will be imensly improved." he said. Alessa nodded. "I see." she said, The king then looked to her. "But enough with that, Alessa it's been a while." he said, the girl nodded. "Yes your majesty" she said lowering her head. Mickey sighed. "Right, so have you seen your brother lately?" he asked, Alessa nodded. "he visits during the holidays, and on some weekends." she said. he nodded. "Alright, because I bet he would love to go otu for the event." he said, Alessa nodded. -meanwhile- two scientist were walking through a hallway, on they're shoulders there was a patch with a phoenix emblem on it. they were conversing. "So you finished the program?" the man asked, the other one nodded. "yes, we just need 'his' aproval, and we can start." he said, the otherone nodded. "Good, I'll take it by his office tonight." he said.

Leslie... she was awake.. HE stepped towards her, her brown eyes immediately looked towards him. "You've been gone for a while..." he said, she smiled. he got closer. -meanwhile- Jacobs looked at her. "The kWU?" he asked, almost not-believing, MArina nodded. he sighed, then looked at her. "Normally... I would just dismiss this..." he said, she looked down. "But... it makes sense now." he said, she stared at him not expecting that. "for the past couple years, one fourth of our transport ships would go into deep space, send a distress signal... and dissipear... it must of been the KWU, gathering materials." he said. he stood up. "It'll take me a while to appoint someone to take over in my stead, atleast a couple days, but count me in." he said.

Emily and Alessa returned, "So, what happened?" she asked, Quentin sighed, Allessa wandered off. "It was an old friend, said the KWU were getting bigger... wanted me to rejoin." he said sighing. Emily nodded. "I see... and your answer?" she asked, he looked to her. "I couldn't, I would never do that to Alessa..." he said, Emily smiled. "Your a good dad." she said, he nodded. "Yeah... I guess... never really had a father to look up to..." he said sighing, Emily was slowly getting closer. "Yeah, I suppose..." she said. she was just about to kiss him when a nurse intervened. "Sir, there's something you need to see." she said, Quentin nodded. "Alright, you get Alessa." he said directing Emily, she sighed then nodded. Quentin followed the nurse then walked into the room... it was the same as it's always been... white, clean, and with a familiar girl in the middle... except... she was awake. -meanwhile- Jacobs slightly smiled. "No, it's no problem, I like having company..." he said, he sat back then looked at the dog, then at Marina. he slowly got up and came back a moment later with coffee. "Here." he said greeting his guest, she nodded and took the mug. He sat back down at his desk. "Alright, now what is the matter?" he asked.

Quentin sighed. "No, it's alright..." he siad sighing. he then looked at Alex. "But, if I were you, I'd track down some of the guys who also were in the resistance, say the men from the HB group, or Cairo and Narville." he said, Alex stared at him. "Narville was a master planner, he organized our final attack on the mansion, and Cairo, he knows all my tricks and we went through the same training program, he's kinda like me but he stayed in service while I retired and probably got a bit rusty, an excellant alternative" he said, he pulled out a small notebook then wrote down adresses and contact numbers for some of the people they worked with. "I kept in contact with them, here." he said, he handed Alex the piece of paper he tore out of the notepad. "Can't leave you empty handed." he said. Alex slowly nodded. -meanwhile- Alessa walked out of the bathroom to see Ms. Barret there, she smiled. "So, who were they?" she asked. Emily sighed. "Your father's old er... companions." she said, Alessa nodded. "Ok." she said, Emily sighed, 'Hate being left in the dark.' she thought to herself sighing. it's not that she hated taking care of Alessa, it's just everytime Quentin had an old war buddy around, he didn't want Alessa around, and that would mean she would have to improvise to get Alessa away...

Quentin stared at him, then sighed. "I'm just a soldier who got lucky... hell I'm lucky to be sitting here..." he said, he looked at his hand. it gleamed in the light, he then looked at Alex. "I've been retired for 5 years, finally went to college, got into engineering... good job." he said. he said, Alex stared at him, expecting him to give in. "But... your right... it is too much." he said, Alex staired at him, Quentin looked at him. "If you need a soldier, I'd recommend Cairo, he's still involved." he said, Alex asked him why not him. Quentin looked at him. "Because of my daughter. Alessa... my parents died in one of the KWU attacks, and I grew up an orphan, I don't want to do that to her, put her through that... she already lost her mother..." he said sighing.

Quentin stared at him, then sighed. Alessa looked at them both intrigued. MArina smiled towards her, while Alex scowled. Quentin sighed. 'I have a feeling something big is going on... KWU big.' he thought in his mind. he then looked to Emily. "Take Alessa for a moment, I need to have a private conversation with them." he said. Emily slowly nodded. "Alright, I think she needs to go anyways." she said slowly picking the little girl up. Alessa sighed. "Bye dad." she said excited. he nodded. then immediately looked to MArina and Alex. "Alright, if your here it must be important, what is going on?" he asked. They both sighed. "May I presume it's... KWU related?" he asked.

Quentin stared at Alex, then Marina. Emily looked at them both. "Old friends?" she asked. Quentin sighed. "Yup." he said, Alessa staired up at the strangers, and hid by her father's leg. he sighed. "well, it's been a while." he said, Alex and Marina slightly smirked. -2 minutes later- Quentin sat down with the others looking at them. "Alright, what did you come here for?" he asked sighing. Alessa sat on his lap with Emily sitting by. Alessa staired at both of them. "Because I doubt it was a "you were in the area." type of deal." he said sarcasticly.

They walked until they reached the room, the doctor in charge of Leslie's case greeted them. "mr. Victor, good for you to come... as always." he said, he then looked at Emily and Alessa. "Who are these, guests?" he asked, Quentin smiled. "This is my daughter Alessa, and my er... close friend, Emily." he said. Emily slightly sighed. the doctor nodded. "alright, well Leslie is being fed right now, best not to disturbe this... process." he said, sighing, Quentin nodded. "alright, we'll head back to the waiting room." he said, the man nodded. "Very well, I'll send for you when it's time." he said, Quentin and the others slowly headed back to the waiting room, to see... Alex and Marina?

Quientin turned the heat up and drove towards the hospital. Alessa yawned slightly apparently not getting enough sleep, he looked to her. "Did you stay up?" he asked, she quickly shook her head. he smirked. "Right, just remember your going to be starting pre-school soon and might want to go to bed at the right time." he said, she pouted then nodded. "kay." the rain was going even harder on the windshield as the wipers went up and over repeatively. 'Damn rain.' he thought to himself. usually Twilight town wasn't rainy like this. they finally reached the hospital and parked. he helped her out of her seat and then held her hand as they walked into the building, a woman was there to meet them, she was Quentin's age, with shoulder length brown hair, and hazel eyes. "Emily, morning." he said, HEr eyes lit up as she saw him and Alessa. "Quentin, and little A." she said kneeling down to the girl. Alessa smiled. "Hello ms. Barret." she said smiling, Emily nodded. "How are you alessa?" she asked, the girl beamed. "Good, a bit tired though." she said, Quentins mirked. "Only because someone stayed up in bed." he said, Alessa scowled slightly. Emily patted ehr on the head. "It's alright, can't spend all our time sleeping." she said, smirking at Quentin. she then got up and they started walking through the hallway. "So she's been taken care of here?" she asked walking with them, Alessa scurried around them. "Yes... it's been five years now." he said, Alessa sighed.

The little girl scampered off, then stopped after opening the door. "It's raining." she said, he sighed. "Your jacket's in the closet, I'll finish with this." he said, he heard Alessa open the nearby door and pull out a small red parka. Quentin putted the dishes away then grabbed his jacket, a simple green one, with a custom waterproof glove on the right arm. he putted it on and opened the door. "C'mon hun." he said, she nodded then hurried to the car. it was a silver sedan. he opened the door int he back, and let her climb in, he made sure to adjust her seatbelt, then closed the door, he got in on the front seat then closed the door. "Geez, it's cold out there..." the little girl chided, he sighed. "I'll turn the heat up." he said, he started the engine and rolled out onto the road.

(before the storm from heavy rain plays) Quentin walked into his bathroom. 'ok good, I got some extra plastic bags.' he thought to himself. -ten minutes later- Quentin walked out of the bathroom, he removed the bag from his right arm, then returned to his room and got dressed, he wore jeans, a white tshirt, and a green vest. "Alright, time to wake the daughter." he said to himself, he walked to Alessa's room and could hear snorring. 'yup, that's her.' he thought in his mind. he slowly opened the door, and looked to the little girl snoring in bed. "Time to get up, we have a big day today." he said, she rolled in bed. "A...alright dad..." she said, he smirked. "No more daddy?" he asked, she rubbed her eyes and got out of bed. he nodded. "alright, you get dressed and I'll get breakfast done." he said, she nodded. "okay." she said. he walked out of the room to leave her alone, and then into the kitchen, he opened the fridge and grabbed some eggs chease and salt. "She'll like this." he said to himself as he started to make scrambled eggs, he finished then spooned some onto two plates, one being a slightly larger helping then the other, he placed the plate down and saw a familiar little girl with blonde hair walk into the room. she yawned, then walked up to her seet, then got up. she imemdiately started to chow down. he smiled. she then coughed a little. "Agh, hot hot!" she yelled, he chuckled. "Blow on it before eating." he said, she slowly nodded, he grabbed a glass and filled it with cold water, he placed it by her. she nodded. "thanks." then started to eat again. he smiled. (I'm trying to emulate a heavy rain like scene when ethan's taking care of shaun.) "So we gonna see mom?" she asked quickly munching down, he nodded. "Yeah, this is what I do on saturdays, visit your mother." he said, she nodded. "Okay, I finally get to see her." she said, Quentin slowly looked down. 'that's right... I've never taken her a long.' he thought to himself. she finished up, then looked at him. "So is ms. Barret coming a long?"she asked, he looked at her. she smiled like she knew a dark secret. "What, I heard you on the phone." she said, he chuckled. "You are such a little twerp." he said, she giggled. he then got up and took her plate. "C'mon, get in the car, I'll take care of these dishes." he said, she nodded. "okay." Alessa answered back.

(jacobs is the administrator of twilight town) Quentin slowly woke up, he looked around the dark room and noticed light slowly enter through the curtains, around the room he took his free time to decorate it, a picture of his old squad from when he was a teenager was hung on the wall, he saw himself, Cairo, KAzzac, and Arthur...two of which were dead. he sighed. "Arthur.. he died for the mission... to save us..." he said, then whenever he looked at Kazaac... his best friend... he remembered how unwilling Alex was to act... he forgave Alex, but he can't help but think that way. another photo was of his group being lead by Jason Narville. on the other side of the wall there was a large buster sword he aquired which had materia slots in it, he didn't put the materia in because if Alessa was wandering about the house... well just having a sword you can't reach is dangerous enough. he had a desk with a computer, and a couple mementos from his wedding.... he kept her ring there. he sighed. "Time to get up, we have a big day ahead of us." he said slightly smiling.

The king walked into the room, he looked to everyone. "Hello everybody." eh said, everyone freezed then turned to the king and saluted. he sighed. "It's okay." he said. they slowly stopped. Alessa looked to the king. "Sir, what's the battle royale?" she asked. the king smiled. "A tournament, three fighters from each world out of the selected few come to twilight town and must go through challenges, whther it be combat, or puzzles... the winning team gets one of our most sacred posessions, the world cup." he said. Alessa slowly nodded. "but... with all that's happening... why now?" she asked. the kinh sighed. " It was something we were planning all this year, even with ahxton runnign rampant we can't just undo all our planning, so we made the decison to increase security." he said, Saren nodded. "Wow... they stopped holding it ever since the events over the last fifty years." he said, Alessa slowly nodded. "Yeah... I suppose that'd be a reason..." she said sighing. -meanewhile- Riku walked around the castle grounds sighing. "sora... I'm sorry..." he said sighing. feeling guilt from what happened. he heard footsteps. "There he is!" suddenly everything went dark.

Saren and Axel walked through the wasteland, dust was in the air, Saren coughed slightly. "Hang on, we're almost there." Axel said, they finally reached pride rock and walked towards it. "Finally, some shelter." Saren said, Axel nodded, they enterred to see the inhabitants are gone. "Where are all the lions?" Saren asked, Axel sighed. "Dunno... but whatever happened to them must of got Roxas." he said. Saren nodded.

(...what the firetruck are you talking about? lol sorry I don't watch naruto so for me it sounds like complete nonsense, and I figured Q heard the whole thing) Saren and Axel slowly walked through the dark corridor, they appeared in some sort of wasteland. 'this place...' Sarne thought in his mind, he hear dSaix's voice. "I sent Roxas here to do recon, he hasn't reported in so I suppose something must of happened, we sense he's still there however, so check out the normal hostspots, such as pride rock." Saix said, Saren niodded, he looked at him and Axel, they were still in they're human forms. "Wow... I didn't change." Sarne said, remembering pride rock, Axel chuckled. "That's the thing with your coat, no matter what your form won't change to model new worlds, unless it's a world you need to change for." he said, Saren nodded. "alright." he said, they saw pride rock in the distance. "Let's go." Axel said.

Riku started to turn. "Riku... something wrong?" the king asked, Riku breathed looking down. "I'm... I'm fine... Mickey." he said, he slowly walked out, the small door opened and closed behind him. Mickey breathed sighing. "Riku..." -meanwhile- SAren and the others walked to the brooms and janitors, they were looking at a TV. "What's going on?" Alessa asked. the brooms shushed her. "Now, in current news, the worlds have given a go on the twilight town battle Royale, which will be taking place in just one month." he said, Saren's eyes widened. "Really?" he asked, Alessa looked at him. "What's the battle royale?" she asked.

SAren sighed, he slowly walked away, then saw Axel walk into the room, he slowly laid against the wall, eavesdropping. 'So suddenly we're the bad guys... huh?' he asked sighing. he heard plotting. Demyx came back with Roxel. "well we're back, so I suppose I'm finished." he said, Roxel nodded. "alright, thanks for showing me around..." he said. he slowly walked away with demyx having some untold adventure. Saren smiled, then heard Axel leave the room. "So, a little spy eh?" he asked. Axel turned immediately. "I...I!" SAren breathed simply. "It's fine, he could of asked me of helping instead of chooking that Quentin shit down my throat, it's obvious he thinks we're the badguys." he said. Axel sighed. "Well, we don't have the best Reputation." he said, Saren nodded. "But your here, because I got Saix here... part of the deal." he said, Axel chuckled. "Yeah, I know, he's better now." Saren nodded. "Millions of years in hell will do that to a guy." he said, Axel chuckled. "I s'pose." he said, Saren then looked axel. "So you guys looking for Roxas?" he asked. Axel nodded. "hm... he joined back, but I haven't seen him ina while." he said sighing. Axel sighed. " Would you care to help... please?" he asked, Saren nodded. "Sure, the guy saved my life after all, about time I repay the favor." he said. (ok, shouldn't Joe think Quentin's still pulling an act?) Saren saw Xigbar walk by. "Hey, have you seen Roxas?" he asked, Xigbar shrugged. "last time I saw him, Saix appoiunted him a mission to the pride lands." he said, Saren recognized the world... he sighed. "Alright, me and Axel are heading there, tell Saix to contact us about his mission." he said, Axel raised his hand and a dark corridor. "Sure thing... chief." Xigbar said sarcasticly.
