It might just be a female dog thing. Cause my dog (female) fights with most female dogs, but if there is a male dog she won't touch them (except for my male dog but that's because it's a dominance thing.)

That happened one time with two dogs I had. They were both females and they got into a fight and we had to smack them with a pan (I know it sounds harsh but it was the only way. We had already tried everything else.) It's really just instinct....

My dogs fight with each other sometimes. Most the time is is for dominance or territory.
