It's weird, because on the one hand it makes some sense (given that bloodlines are a thing here) and makes it seem a little less "random" than how it happened. On the other hand, it plays into the whole "every main character just so happens to have this very specific ancestry that ensures they were always going to be plot relevant" trope

finished knuckles. it was... ok. less "knuckles" and more "wade from the 2 sonic movies... and knuckles". writing was kinda lacking, characters weren't fully fleshed out to the extent you'd hope they would be, and overall it felt like another case of "this could've been a short movie" (or maybe a dvd special?) 6/10 was probably an accurate score when ign originally posted it
