    he sees Xion as Ven because the memories nobodies function off of are memories of their sombody. Ven and Braig new each other from birth by sleep. im pretty sure thats why.

    Its possible that Vanitas didnt have an initial form, he was just an embodiment of darkness. Then, since Ven connected his heart with Sora, Vanitas took Sora's form.
