  1. My issue wasn't with your apology, it was with the reasoning. You basically implied that you were only apologizing so we'd shut up and that you hadn't actually changed your very sexist opinions. Listen, I really don't want to call you out and yell, but no one will ever change their inappropriate ways if no one speaks up. If we sat quietly and let you keep saying sexist things, you would never realize it's wrong and you could never become a better person. You'd pass down those sexist beliefs in the same way that people pass down racism and homophobic beliefs to their children. In the end dude, we're really just trying to turn you into a good person instead of a sexist one.
  2. which thing are you thinking about then?
  3. honestly the army's so big they're having trouble managing themselves.
  4. usmc if you're going for really get in there save the day type stuff. army is an option but honestly
  5. NO NO NO NO NO NO DON'T JOIN THE AIR FORCE!!! and it's not just the interservice rivalry talking. you're legit going to get jipped in the air force unless there's a very specific thing you want to do that's open. chances are any career in the air force you get will have nothing to do with actual planes. you might not see a single plane in your af career. another force would be a better option--navy, probably, if you're going for cushier, and usmc if you...
  6. The fact that you're still justifying being completely sexist despite everyone having valid complaints about your inappropriate actions and comments is waaaaay more offensive than a mistake. If you'd posted this terribly sexist thing and then realized oh, hey, they're right, I'm being sexist and that's really wrong and I'm sorry about that, I think we'd all happily forgive you. But the fact that you're only apologizing because oh, dang, they called me out on my bs and I can't make any more excuses for my sexism and I don't know what else to do so I'll say sorry in the hopes that they stop posting is a low, low move. Also, "ladies"?? Really now?? Are we really going to continue the whole gender differentiation after we all literally just called you out on it and you just apologized?? You won't stop using the gender card and it's getting ridiculous.
  7. At this point I'm worried you'll say 9/11 was fake. I'm going to preach the same lesson I'm sure your mother did: just because everyone else did it, doesn't mean it's right. Honestly your entire argument is based on what you think other boys think. You know about the Steubenville rape case, I'm assuming? A group of boys all participated in that girl's rape, but does that mean raping her was okay because other boys thought it was? No! Of course not! Everything is about consent. Women owe you absolutely nothing, so if a girl doesn't consent for you to see her body, you have no right to see it. There is no double standard here though?? As you stated, a double standard is when one group is allowed a greater amount of freedom in an area. Women are allowed no greater freedom here than men. But here's the thing: men are privileged because we live in a patriarchy, so they're able to use that as leverage to say things like this. You're making excuses for invading women's privacy, while men naturally have privilege and their privacy is rarely invaded in the way that women have their privacy invaded. Yes, more men will be jailed for this. Why? Because since men are the ones with power and the ones who think nothing could ever happen to them, they do it. And another issue with the patriarchy: why won't women get in as much trouble? Because the patriarchy TELLS men to "man up" and not let that kind of thing bother them. So because of people making sexist comments and doing sexist things like you, both men and women are suffering, and not just from an invasion of privacy. And if you say sexist things and do sexist things you are a sexist, end of story. You're not just being a "messenger", you are actively invading women's privacy and joking about your sexism.
  8. this is painful to watch it's 42-8 now
  9. THE LEGENDARY bAYLAUST MAKES A TEMPORARY COMEBACK
  10. I don't think you know what a double standard is. It is completely a privacy issue: as Godot stated, if a woman is wearing a bikini, she is consenting to show off her body. If she's wearing her undergarments, you've caught her off guard and, whether intentional or not, she has not consented to let you see her body and therefore a person has every right to be pissed if you invade that privacy. You're making it worse and worse for yourself. You a) called yourself a pervert previously, and you can't renege on that statement, so now you're just making excuses since we called you out on your bs. And b) you are laughing and enjoying the fact you grossly invaded womens' privacy?? That is really sick.
  11. but i have to watch....i have to hold onto the nonexistent hope that the broncos will make a comeback.....
  12. the republicans are all watching the super bowl THIS IS OUR CHANCE
  13. You literally just admitted to illegally invading women's privacy for your own selfishness and if I were in your ROTC program I'd have reported you in half a second to my commanding officer and the school cop. Like you literally just stated that you have zero respect for women's privacy and that is so gross and sexist I can't even
  14. i wanna play mass effect but the super bowl is playing on the tv the ps3 is hooked up to blech
  15. These "question for the ladies" things always come off as sexist and I'm actually kind of annoyed by it at this point There's no "loophole in the female logic", and the way you phrased it sounded really dang sexist. Guys don't mind being seen in speedos at the beach, but imagine if you caught a boy with nothing but his underwear on--he'd be annoyed and embarrassed, right? People see it as an invasion of privacy, and if you see someone like that and they don't like it, you've obviously caught them off guard. edit: also I'd say the majority of women I see aren't wearing bikinis at the beach anyway???
  16. 100% of the reason i watch the super bowl is for the commercials
  17. WAIT I THOUGHT IT MEANT LIKE KH13 MEMBERS CREATE REAL POLITICAL PARTIES AND I WAS LIKE HELL NO BUT WAIT OKAY I MISUNDERSTOOD GOODBYE SHANA
  18. You mean war, poverty, etc. would be done for
  19. I know, but it was a good way to open my explanation of why the charge exists.
  20. Absolutely not I will burn the internet
  21. I really doubt it. The only reason the charge is there is to make sure kids' parents are okay with it. Nintendo purposely chose a small amount because making sure the kids have their parents consent is the only reason it exists.
