Vyona sat on a step that was connected to the ruins. She had a chess piece in her hand, a white bishop, and twiddled it around between her fingers. She seemed to appeared bored but didn't bother trying to further talk to Nami. She sighed and leaned her face into her other hand and looked towards the edge of the forest. Nothing. Her eyebrows furrowed. (So I'm assuming that when everybody makes it here, the test will be done? Well that's what it looks like since nobody showed up besides that lolita. What a bunch of weaklings I'm stuck working with.) Meanwhile, Nami was walking from pillar to pillar, looking at them to see if they had to trigger something from it to complete the mission but she came up with nothing. She stopped walking and crossed her arms. (That's odd. Is something suppose to happen.) Nami looked back towards Vyona. (Well I can always ask her but she probably doesn't know either.) She sighed and went to go sit down on the step, making sure not to sit too close to Vyona. Vyona didn't bother to notice her and kept staring off into the forest. There was just plain, dead silence. Small skirmishes between the students and the Grimm could be faintly heard but neither of them said nothing. "Well then. It seems that you're not one to play the nice card with people." Vyona just kept staring ahead. "And by that you mean?" "Usually when two people meet in such circumstances, by now they would start forming a bond." "And you make it sound like it's a bad thing. I have no business with you." "Aw, now that's just cruel. Not that I have any problem with it, but you are going to have to team up with others later on." A frown crossed Vyona's face. "Now that's just sad, you just finding that out." "Shut it. I already knew that." Nami looked down at her bishop piece. "Then how about fixing your social skills a bit? If I didn't know any better how to handle your kind, I would be rather gloomy right now." "....." "But we seem to be getting along smoothly so that's a start, don't you think?" "You're really annoying, you know that?" "Likewise."

Nami stopped on a branch and looked ahead to see that the temple was in sight. She had a rough start trying to land before she caught onto a tree branch and got down unscratched. She crossed paths with a few beowulfs here and there and managed to make it this far. Nami let out a dragging sigh before she hopped down and continued walking to where she saw the edge of the forest. (I haven't seen anyone else yet. Is this really that hard of a mission to complete?) She thought as she came up to the clearing and saw that a girl was already there before her. Nami tilted her head to the side and walked up her, tapping her on the shoulder. Vyona looked as if she was about to jump out of her skin and pointed her staff towards Nami. "Who do you think you are trying to scare me like that?" she said and Nami just pushed the weapon out of her face. "....yeah, hello to you too. What are you doing standing around here for? Just go take the piece on the one of the pillars and be on your way, unless you were too slow to figure that out." "I just forgot okay. I don't need the likes of you telling me that." she said as she angrily put her staff away and made her way over to one of the pillars. "Nami" "What?" "My name is Nami and if you don't have a name i can always refer to you as hot-head blondie." Vyona just stared at Nami as Nami smiled at her. (Is she mocking me or something?) she thought and sighed. "Vyona." "Good, now we can get along without me having to refer to you by some corny nickname." "Shut up you damn lolita!"

Should I make another character to fill in one of the NPCs?

Vyona felt the pain ease up and moved off of the tree. She felt the ground beneath her rumble as she heard something crash to the ground nearby. (Stupid deplay...) She thought to herself as she brought out her staff. She was only a few minutes away from her goal but she wanted to quicken the stroll. A magic circle glowed under her and she was off, dashing forward, mindful of the trees in her way. Within minutes, she reached the edge of the forest and there was an opening. At that opening, there stood the temple. Vyona looked around to see nobody there. Vyona walked closer to see that there were pillars let up. (Was I suppose to retrieve something here? Ack, I don't remember.) Vyona sat there, tapping at her forehead, trying to jog her memory.

Vyona was breezing through the sky when she heard the wind whistling from behind her again. She looked back to see the tornado coming in her direction. She noticed a body in there and frowned. Vyona waved her staff again and she was pushed faster through the air, trying to avoid being sucked in. She lost her footing while trying to make another magic circle and felt the tornado right behind her now. She cursed under breath before feeling her body caught in the vortex. She could barely keep her eyes open with all of the dust and leaves blowing into her face. "Ack.." she muttered before barely waving her staff and ice appeared around her. They got caught in the tornado and within a few seconds, the tornado burst into snowflakes. Vyona opened her eyes and looked down to see that she was high above the forest, and started plummeting downward. She hit a few branches before falling on her back. She groaned as she rolled onto her side and looked up to see the person was making his way down as well. She shakingly stood up and walking over to lean on a tree to compose herself. The temple was at walking distance now but Vyona's body was aching from the fall.

Vyona continued to stroll through the forest, pushing through bushes as she went. She grumbled as she dusted the leaves off of her clothes. "This is getting ridiculous. Where is that temple?!" she muttered to herself before creating a magic circle underneath her and rocketing into a branch on a tall tree before her. Vyona smiled, relieved that she saw some sort of structure there, having to be the temple. She felt the breeze blow a bit harder and looked in the opposite direction to see a mini tornado in the forest. She narrowed her eyebrows and took out her staff. (That must be one of those students but I can't tell who. Oh well, I want to get this mission done. Don't need to bother with them) Vyona leaped off of the branch and another magic circle appeared under her, pushing her higher into the air before another one appeared and started speeding her towards the temple. Another one would appear when she slowed down in the air, bringing her closer to her goal.

Vyona flipped backward and stood her round, ready to attack again just when the remaining beowulfs stopped attacking her and started to howl in sync. Vyona looked confused and gripped her staff just as an Ursa emerged from the forest. She raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Oh? A stronger one? About time, these beowulfs were starting to bore me." She relaxed her grip on her staff and started speaking more casually, as if the beast actually understood a word she was saying. "But you know, I have a mission to accomplish and you're wasting my t-" She was suddenly cut off when the Ursa rushed at her with its claws ready to sink into her flesh. As by reflex, Vyona managed to block with her staff, the weight of the beast weighing hard against her. Vyona smirked and fire blasted against the beast, knocking it backwards. The ursa let out a shrieking cry in pain. "Now now. No need to be so rude. I'll deal with you quickly if that makes you feel better." The ursa was recovering from the blow but Vyona didn't bother to wait and rushed at the beast. Her staff switched into a spear again and she gave a few slashes at it before stepping back. for the next few minutes, Vyona kept dealing more damage on the beast, but also gaining fatigue slowly. Vyona slammed her staff into the ground and spikes of rock spiked out of the ground and into the ursa and the other beowulfs. Vyona took a deep breath before slipping her staff into its holder and waking through the exit she saw earlier. (that damn temple better be near by so I can be done with this mission already.)

Vyona stopped dead in her tracks as all the pack of beowulfs appeared. (I guess this wasn't going to be a walk in the park then.) She thought as the core of her staff started to glow. (Bring it.) Some of the beowulfs started to rush as her and she waved her staff with a flick of thee wrist. A circle of flames appeared around her, burning the surrounding beowulfs that made it closest to her. Vyona formed a magic circle under her and leaped high into the sky before twirling her staff, changing it into a spear, and throwing it into the head of a beowulf. She landed on top of the same beowulf and ripped the spear out from its body. Vyona's weapon changed back into a staff and she gave it another wave, spikes of ice appeared around her and she launched it towards more of the Beowulfs. She was about to launch more before she was suddenly hit from behind by one of the beowulfs. She stuttered forward before regaining her balance an looking over, just now noticing an exit. Vyona stared at it for a moment before shaking her head and readying her staff for another attack from the beowulfs.

Vyona looked around at the other students present before she felt her body jerk upward. As she was launched into the sky by the platform beneath her, Vyona kept a strong hold on her staff as the wind hit against her face and hair. After a few seconds, she opened her eyes. She was far above a forest and she felt herself begin to fall hard to the ground. She waited a few moments, taking in the situation before she whipped out her staff and form a magic circle under her in midair. She firmly landed on it before hopping off and falling down further. She made more along the way, like stairs down. Once she was close enough to the ground, Vyona landed firmly on the grass and looked around her new surroundings. (geez, so much for a warning) She though and walked off further into the forest. She didn't want to wait up on anybody, feeling that they just might hold her back.

Her mother was skilled in the use of dust and decided to teach Vyona the basics of it. While she was going through her lessons, she was given her very own custom weapon made by her father, who worked in a company that produced weapons for hunters and huntresses. Within a few years of practice, she became an expert at Glyphs and surpasses her mother. She also gained a few experience of actual battle from getting into a few skirmishes with strangers along the way. She was also known for her quick temper as such. Being the perfectionist she is, she decided to sign up to attend Beacon to better her skills. Her mother and father didn't object to this and let her go.
