  7. Name: Colton Gunner Species: Gorgon Age: 38 Gender: Male Vigilante/Criminal: Criminal Biography: Life in the city was never easy. Why his family even lived in the city in the first place baffled him. Their bodies weren't built to live in the see-sawing climate, and more often than not they had to hibernate to survive the cold temperatures. When Colton was younger, he was told that before he or his siblings were born, his mother and father had moved to the city for more job opportunities, however they were unprepared for the freezing temperatures that would develop later on throughout the year. Even throughout the warmer parts of the year, the family couldn't provide well for itself. His father was part of the law enforcement and his mother would be left behind to take care of him and his six siblings. It was hard to leave the house, as they would have to cover their eyes with goggles, even when it was dark out; they couldn't risk turning another person into stone. Even then, it was difficult for them to traverse throughout the streets as a group. The streets were crowded, and their bodies were long and took up much space. After fifteen minutes they would need at least five hands to count how many people had stepped on their tails by accident. It was hard to even stay in the house, as it was crowded and they couldn't move around much. Then as the cold drew in, his family would hibernate. For awhile, they had to hop around home to home, as they couldn't work while the slept. So, as Colton grew older he got involved in gangs to make sure his family was secure year round. From them he also learned all the sneaking, lock picking, and fighting skills he has currently. Eventually, Colton was able to get his family out of the city by having one of the gangs he was involved with smuggle them out. However, he had to stay behind. There were too many people who knew of his involvement with the rougher side of the city. Now in his late 30's, Colton is disgusted with the work he's done. He was no longer with his family, so there was no reason for him to continue it. His true desire is to fight for the greater good and erase his past so he can move back with his family. However, his old gangs still contact him with work to be done. For him, it's either do the work, or risk having his criminal record being revealed. Personality: Colton is tired. He's tired of the city, tired of the people, tired of his work. When he was a youngling, he was very carefree, unworried about his future. After all of the people he's threatened, beaten, framed, and even killed, he just couldn't revert back to that form. A temper developed, and that was only the first step. He will lash out at those who look at him the wrong way, and will even turn those who threaten him to stone. When he's wandering about, he tries to be as polite as possible to his elders, but when it comes to the drunken, wild, misbehaving youth, he will only regard them with disdain. However, he is smart. Colton has been around the block long enough to see a person and know their entire life story, but not once know their name. He knows the right people to talk to to get information, and the right salesman to get a variety of poisons and drugs. When he's on a job, he is silent, calculating every move his target makes. He knows how to intimidate and break some of the strongest people down. For him, all it takes is some honeyed words and a just a flicker of gold. Then at the end of the day, when he slithers back into his apartment, he will coil up on the floor, just wondering if he is awake enough to drag himself through another day. Abilities/Skills: True to the Greek myth, Colton can turn others to stone. However, one has to be looking directly into his eyes. When he is out and about, he will wear a pair of goggles with reflective lenses. He is a master when it comes to sneaking into buildings. It's not much of a skill, but he can wrap anyone up in his tail and choke them to death. Weapons: His tail; it's good for suffocating and for using as a club. He also has claws that will leave deep gashes, and fangs coated in venom. Appearance: As a gorgon, he is always naked. What else is he supposed to do? Colton has no legs, just a giant tail that reaches to be twenty feet long. His entire body is covered in gray scales, with his upper body being covered in lighter shades compared to his tail and hands. He has a diamond shaped face, with sharp cheekbones and a narrow chin. His eyes are gold, and only those that are about to face their death know that. Also true to the legends, he has snakes for hair. Many snakes rest lax against his head like dreadlocks, and will move around when he's on the hunt, or if he is threatened.

  21. "Don't worry, Judy knows how to spice things up. If she didn't I probably would've stopped hanging around her once I developed a judge of character," Jude said as he watched Luna-Sol hang up her dream catcher. He didn't know people still hung those up, let alone know people believed they worked. Nothing against anyone who did though, Jude had nothing against them. Jude walked towards the door, standing in the doorway. He thought for a second at Luna-Sol's question, scratching his head in the process. No, he didn't know which cabin Judy was in. He also didn't bother tell her which one he was in. Wow. He was an idiot. There was no way he was going to go searching for her either. "Honestly... I have no idea whi- well there she is," And as if by a miracle, he heard Judy's voice. Jude was sure that the whole camp heard Judy's voice. He turned his head to look out the door. Judy was a few yards away, keeping her distance from the cabin. She also had another kid with her, most likely her cabin mate. Jude nodded his head in Judy's direction, signaling Luna-Sol to follow him as he exited the cabin. "I would've thought by now that you learned to keep your voice down at an indoor level," Jude commented as he walked up to Judy. He mockingly cleaned his ear out with his pinky, "I think I've gone partially deaf from that you know, and I'm not paying for hearing aids." ((Sorry for such a late reply, classwork and all that keeping me busy ))
  22. 90% OF THE PEOPLE IN MY INTRO TO LITERATURE CLASS ARE VICTIM BLAMING BIGOTS
  23. "Boundaries I'd understand, but not going into the forest at all? They're hiding something." Jude had put his lighter into his pocket, and he now had his elbows resting on his knees, and his head rested upon his clasped hands. "It's like Hogwart's Forbidden Forest. They tell students not to go in it because there are dangerous creatures lurking inside. Now, if there were dangerous animals like wolves of bears, they wouldn't have made a camp in this area. I have a feeling they're hiding something else." He got up and started to pace around the room, one hand behind his back, another clutching his chin. Different horror scenarios ran through his head. Perhaps there's an underground factory that's skinning campers and selling the meat to cannibals and the entrance is in the forest? Maybe the forest is where they take disobedient campers to dig their own graves and then they're shot into them. Or maybe there's just a crazy killer that lives in the forest waiting for campers to wander in. There's also the possibility of some supernatural force playing them all like pawns. Little did Jude know that all of his thoughts were being spoken aloud. It was habit of his that he'd yet to kick, even after a group of kids in high school literally tried to kick it out of him. He stopped in the middle of the room, shaking his head. "I'm probably just off my rocker, paranoia sinking in and all that jazz. You know who has the perfect fix for that? Judy." Jude turned to Luna-Sol. He felt guilty about leaving her on her own, since he had no idea if they were going to have another cabin mate. Besides, not like a little Mary Jane was gonna hurt her. "You should tag along, Judy says she has the ultimate stress reliever. Trust me, you'll forget everything about this shitty camp."
