For anyone that's interested, i slowed down the E3 clip of the english boss, for analysis.:

He's not really hard per se, he's just a real pain in the ass. He constantly attacks, barely leaving any room for counter-attacking.

"...Oh god. Shit just got real." But after a few minutes of looking at his face, i just unpaused it, and kept playing, seeing as i wasn't really too shocked. -

KHBbS Any Help On Vanitas Setiment
Vector replied to EaglesFan887's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Just a few more tips i forgot.. The only real time you can do anything else besides cartwheeling around is when he : A) Jumps into the air, summoning fireballs around him, and B) When he does the dark claw attack (When the entire screen goes black, and these dark spikes impale a small area) Use these times to heal, use spells, or whatever you plan on doing. he always starts off the fight surrounding him with a darkness sphere. Don't bother locking on or anything, just keep rolling around the arena until he gets out of the sphere. And if it really comes down to it, i could try to stream the fight, so you can learn some techniques from the fight. -
KHBbS Any Help On Vanitas Setiment
Vector replied to EaglesFan887's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Lets see...: 1.) Stock up on a good amount of Mega potions. If you heal at any time during the fight with magic and not items, he will heal himself as well, so you HAVE to heal with items. 2.) Do a few test runs. Memorize his attack patterns, what to do against each attack, and when its a good time to heal and when not to. 3.) Make sure to have the following skills, preferably all upgraded to the max: HP Boost Final Stand Magic Haste As for the commands, When i fought him, i had 3 Detone Chaser's, all of them level 4, and 5 Mega potions. Hope this helps some. And if you need any other advice/help, just ask. -
Yes and no. He's only that strong on proud. He DOES have a attack that doesn't bring you in critical, but its not meant to damage you, its meant you incapacitate you (If it lands, you get confused, and i *think* it also gives you tunnel vision, but i can't remember.) rather then to kill you. Although, even on normal or lower, he can still do a good chunk of damage. Like, a good 2/3 of your HP bar gone. And he can be a real pain in the ass. IF you can memorize his attack pattern, he's pretty easy, even on proud. But be warned: The higher level of difficulty, the smaller the window of mistake is. IE: If you play on beginner, you can misjudge his attack pattern and get hit a few times, but still recover. But on proud, most of his attacks bring you into critical, and you have to be really careful to read his attacks, so you know when to use a potion, and when not to.

nobody's name: Anbrix (Prounced An-bricks) Weapon: A lexicon similar to Zexion's, used for darkness related techinques, and a claw gauntlet, used for light based maneuvers. Power(s): Manipulation of light and darkness Battle Catchphrases: "Do you REALLY think you can come out of this duel unscathed?", "Let's see what you've got." Catch phrases when lost: "A competent performance." Personality: Like his somebody, he lives by one simple motto: "Get the job done, whatever the cost". He is a cold, calculating person. However, he has a single soft spot: he willingly throws himself into fights unrelated to himself if it means to protect a fellow nobody. He can be a bit cocky at times, but he is the kind of guy that will do a mission when asked from a higher-up, no questions asked.

Interference (I think that's spelt right...)
Vector replied to RoxasStalker's topic in General Discussion
I remember fighting xigbar on proud for the first time, and after a lot of trial & error, i finally beat the fight, and as it turns out, i didn't know the faulty power wire was hooked in instead of a new power wire. So after i skipped the scene, my sister walked by, stepped on the cord, and the PS2 turned off. I wanted to do a dramatic NOOOOOOOOOO right then and there. -_- -
If it is him though, the first question that springs to mind is "Why is he attacking Aqua?" And about him fighting, I'm not so sure that he DOES fight. But it could be, for one reason or another, he has his back against a wall so to speak, and aqua was simply at the wrong place at the wrong time. But i guess we won't know for sure for quite a bit of time, seeing as i have my doubts that it'll be fully explained who/what he is solely from BBS.

I used to quite awhile ago, but I've recently been forcing myself to get back into it so i don't get too much out of practice. Haha, fair enough.

As it stands, I have two theories. Theory #1) I have my doubts about this one, since all of the hidden bosses are characters from a future game (Xenmas in FM, LS in FM+), but If its an existing character, I'm going to go out on a limb and say its Ansem The Wise. This is just pure speculation, but assuming that he has the ability to fight, we have not seen his fighting style, or weapon(s) for that matter. Its a long shot, i know, but i don't think its impossible. Theory #2) The more plausible theory is its someone from KH:3D, or maybe even KH:AD. The thing is though, is the Org coat. If the boss has a reason to wear it, then he has to be related to MX in some way. It could be because he's influenced by MX, friends with him, or maybe even a previous pupil. But if its not, i'm guess that Nomura is using a generic cloak to hide his identity, like how they used the armor to hide TAV's identity, since they were still designing them at the time. The thing is though, we don't know anything about this man. We don't know if he's fought during the story, if its an Aqua only battle, or anything. All we really know is his appearance, his DW'ing blades, and the fact that he can nearly one-shot you. Take it however you wish though, but that's my two cents. Feel free to dissect my theories.. In fact, i encourage people to. I want to see other people's takes on my far-fetched theories. Even though i contradict my theory by saying/asking this, but don't the coats auto adjust in size to fit the user's body?

The name's Brian. Im just a big KH fan that decided to sign up on these forums for KH related conversations. A little about me: - 18 years old. - Very random most of the time. - Part of me hates SE for making such a thrilling storyline. - Also partly hates them for how enigmatic they can be. ;-; - Sucks with coming up with intros.
