  1. Sure it was. If FFX was the only PS2 game you ever played. X-2 is the sort of abomination most everyone wants to delete from their brains. Revenant Wings, not much different. And Lighting Returns selling 11 million? Rofl, wtf? I think you mean 800,000 in total. Worldwide, on all platforms. That's called a complete failure. Not that even IF it was a success, sales don't even remotely amount to quality. Read it and weep.
  2. Lighting Returns isn't without a few merits! Art direction was impressive, so I look forward to seeing something like that on XV. The producer is....well, the same guy as every other game. Now, Motomu Toriyama.... Yeah. He's a problem. Every single game - EVERY SINGLE GAME - he was behind was a complete and total dud. Blood of Bahamut probably being the worst offender. Lighting Returns WAS an amazing game. An amazingly shitty one.
  3. I want to pretend you don't actually believe that. But since i can't, I'll just pretend you didn't even say it.
  4. Screenshots from other games. Also, we DID have a sort of Zack prologue in the original FFVII. In any case, nothing new in this article. Whole bunch of nothing. :|
  5. Then you should try Blood of Bahamut, Sigma Harmonics, Lighting Returns, the original FFXIV launch, Front Mission Evolved. All Square Enix homegrown games, all nigh-unplayable. And that's just off the top of my head.
  6. This is awesome. These responses, however, are not. I'm honestly flabbergasted as to why I keep coming back to KH-13...
  7. Ask them if they'll remake All The Bravest!
  8. Alright, some of you seem kind of new to the MGS franchise or Kojima in general, so I'll go ahead and spread a little bit of much needed wisdom: When Hideo Kojima says that "Metal Gear Solid 5 is my last game", that pretty much means that he's already working on Metal Gear Solid 6. If he says he's working on a new Zone of the Enders or Snatcher, he pretty much isn't.
  9. You guys are such fanboys lol. Honestly, taking butthurt to a new level. For the record, bought and sank quite a bit of my time into the game. For 95.7% of it, my "strategy" consisted of Full Power Charge + Super Saiyan 2 + Recoome's Ultimate. Because anything else will get you unfashionably killed once you're past Frieza saga. And if you tell me you traditionally punched and kicked your way through the game and not spammed a repetitive-ass high-damage AOE ultimate, I know you're lying. Now that we've established, 100% for a factual fact, how you've progressed through the game, there's really just one big glaring question that needs to be asked. And really, it's the single most important question of all, and the only one that really matters: Did you have fun? Did you have fun constantly spamming high-damage AOE attacks on every single enemy through the whole game? Because if you answer "yes", I know you're lying. You just spent at least $50 on this game. There's really no shame in admitting that it's not exactly as awesome as you had hoped... There's just no point taking your frustrations out on IGN, or still acting asshurt of their Alpha Sapphire review since you have no one but yourself to blame. All they're doing is saying/writing what you're thinking but too embarrassed to admit.
  10. Why do I even keep coming back here? >_>
  11. The fantasy of fans:Square Enix + Mobile = PURE EVIL! IT'S GONNA SUCK! ALL MOBILE GAMES SUCK!Square Enix + Vita = OMG! IT'S GONNA BE THE BEST GAME EVER!!! YAY VITA!!!The cold reality:It's the same damn game.
  12. Lol, you really don't get how it all works huh?
  13. Lol, don't be delusional. I'm not putting anything down. Compared to PS4 and XOne, the Wii U isn't even a blip on the radar and has been almost entirely abandoned by major third party developers.
  14. Gunslinger Stratos, Lord of Vermillion franchise, L4D: Survivors, some Dragon Quest game to be sure. Definitely not their first.
  15. Hm! I guess we might be seeing that PS4 version/sequel/whatever after all in the near future. Btw, source?
  16. Hm. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBecM3CQVD8 Considering yourself enlightened, test-tube baby.
  17. Hm. Interesting news. That said... 1-The Andrew Garfield films are pretty terrible (and unnecessary), so yay with that. 2-They've already said that they don't intent to do another origin story - Spidey will just sort of already be a hero at this point, like Tasha and Clint. Even more yay. 3-Now the nay. Their release date for his next solo flick directly clashes with Thor: Ragnarok. So...really nice to see Sony derping it up again, unless Marvel agrees to change Thor's date. http://marvel.com/news/movies/24065/marvel_studios_schedules_new_release_dates_for_4_films And my concern's just been addressed!
  18. It's weird in that despite Don Cheadle being billed as one of the main cast members, he shows up....pretty much never in these trailers.
  19. No hope whatsoever. The Compilation was marked generally a failure, both commercially and critically. Your best bet to play this game at this point is to wait until it can be run on a mobile emulator one day. And even then...it just kinda looks like crap. It's 1000% legit.
  20. http://a-very-merry-q.deviantart.com/art/Before-Crisis-Final-Fantasy-VII-Remake-MOCKUP-506557520 ...Huh. I always hate making stuff like this cause five minutes after I think it's awesome, I see that it's really asstastic.
