Will Oswald be in KH?
I dont think we will be seeing Oswald any time soon. It has become apparant in the more recent games that Disney frankly doesnt care anymore. Heck, one of my best friends works at Disney world, she says you cant even find a KH T-Shirt there. I dont think they will ever pull it entirely, but you can see that as Sora is getting older, Square is asserting their influence more into the games. Case in point, Dream Drop Distance. While all the Disney worlds in the game are new to the series, Nomura said that this game will focus more around the KH original worlds. I would imagine that within the next few games, with the exception of a few major disney worlds important to the plotline, we will be exploreing solely Square worlds. As for Disney, they should really rethink things cause I promise you, I looked forward to this: Mickey reuniting with his old friend Riku A whole lot more than this: The Nondiscriminate Princess and the Frog OR This Need I say more?

Do you think Sora will ever wield the Kye-Blade?
Personally I would rather see Riku fight Vanitas than Sora. Their fighting styles are similar and they both weild darkness. Sora looks the same.

Do you think Sora will ever wield the Kye-Blade?
This is what you call a well balanced debate.

Do you think Sora will ever wield the Kye-Blade?
I think that there is a good balance found between Sora and Riku. Riku has fully immersed himself in the darkness before, and whatever darkness you guys seem to think is dwelling withing Sora, as miniscule as it is, would be simple to purge (supposing it wasnt whiped out when Kairi hugged him and returned him to his human form). To top it off, they have something that Xehanort did not. They have the Kingdom Key and Kingdom Key -Darkside- in their possession.

Do you think Sora will ever wield the Kye-Blade?
So it is obvious to anyone who has played the game for even 10 seconds, that Sora's trademark Kingdom Key is the base for the Kye-Blade. It is also well know that Sora is the closest thing to pure light we have seen in this series so far, with the exception of the Princesses of Heart. These factors plus his own Main character hacks, raise the question. Do you think that our knight in shining clownshoes will ever wield the ultimate weapon, the Kye-Blade? Didnt Bioware specifically say in Game Informer a couple months ago that while they do want to do something Multiplayer in the Mass Effect franchise it will not happen in Mass Effect 3?

Which one of the four seasons of the year is your favorite?

Is there a feature you've been wanting on ANY kingdom hearts game?
Synch Blade on normal form. Perhaps, New Game +

Other old worlds that you would like to be expanded.
I would like to see more worlds like The City That Never Was, and Land of Departure. The KH original worlds are more fun because SquareEnix gets to play with them more. The Disney Worlds are limited to what we saw in the movies, the Square Worlds are limited only by the designer's imagination.

"Darkness will become light, Light will fall into darkness"
did you even read the thread? I have answered that question 3 times. Also there is no guarantee that Aqua will be playable. Also this topic was about her falling to darkness during her decade in the Realm of Darkness. Not about her being the final boss.

"Darkness will become light, Light will fall into darkness"
Even if she does end up falling, simply by making her story manditory to be played first, they can start her story at any point over the past 10 years. By doing this you could litterally play as Aqua and watch her as she fades into darkness. Her story would end with her finally giving up, or even allow you to play for a little while as Dark Aqua. From there you would pick up as Ven who was recently reawakened by Sora and Riku in DDD. Ventus' story would focus mostly around rescuing Terra. Terra's story would lead both of the boys through their search for Aqua only to find she has given in to the Darkness. Terra who has already defeated his own darkness, and Ven will then have to try to stop her and bring her back. Either that or Xehanort will steep them all in darkness, like a banana in chocolate fondue. And use them as dark puppets to try and kill Sora and Riku. that last part was a joke. http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/sleep.png

"Darkness will become light, Light will fall into darkness"
I have seen the scene you are speaking of. And what it showed was Aqua finding Cinderella's(I think) Castle in the realm of darkness, but what we dont know is at what point over the past 10 years this scene took place. For all we know this will simply be a memory she tells later.

"Darkness will become light, Light will fall into darkness"
It is obviously too soon to make big assumptions about BBSv2. But if it were me writing the series, I would use Dream Drop Distance to save at least one of the BBS protagonists and prepare Sora, Kairi, and Riku for KH3. Then use BBSv2 to prepare save whichever BBS characters werent freed in DDD and then use the game to prepare Ventus Terra and Aqua for their role in KH3 as well.

"Darkness will become light, Light will fall into darkness"
Thats the thing, I DONT think we WILL play as Aqua for most of the game. I think most of the game will be spent trying to stop her and bring her back. Aqua's faith in her friends is what will undoubtedly bring her back, but I dont think she will be as easy to recover as Ventus.

"Darkness will become light, Light will fall into darkness"
I know you are fond of the idea of Sora with Darkness, but the problem with your theory lies within the character himself. Its not a matter of is he immune to darkness, or is he too light. It lies within the very foundations of the characters design. Sora is very narrow minded. He sees the world in black and white. To him light is good and dark is evil. He was the chosen weilder of the keyblade, chosen to stop the spreading darkness. Frankly he is a kid who thinks he is a super hero. He has an unwavering belief that darkness is the enemy and he needs to destroy the darkness. This is why every single less-than-light person he has encountered was slain. To be completely honest, if Sora ever found darkness in himself he would probably kill himself. This is why Riku's character exists. Riku is supposed to represent a balance between Light and Darkness in contrast to Sora's rather extreme way of seeing things. He walks a darker, less sheltered path than Sora does. These are basic building blocks for the character, these form the foundation of their being. If you were to remove this foundation, the building would crumble, Sora would no longer be Sora.

"Darkness will become light, Light will fall into darkness"
I agree, and I expect them all to be active protagonists in KH3. Like I said in my reply to DenizenofTwilight, just because she falls, doesnt mean she can't stand back up. The thing that made Aqua Ven and Terra so special is that their bond with each other was so strong that they will all inevitably return from their gruesome fates. Now while for Ven it may be as simple as taking a visit to Castle Oblivion, I think Aqua's redemption is going to be much harder than simply opening the door to darkness and inviting her over for tea. I am willing to bet it takes both Terra and Ventus to stop her rampage and bring her back from the clutches of the darkness that holds her. Aqua frankly shatters the rule for video game protagonists. She is way stronger than any other character we have seen in this series so far. Even Vanitas who I am pretty sure is going to be the new main villain after KH3, got beat into the ground like he was nothing by Aqua. She has been surrounded by nothing but monsters and darkness for TEN YEARS. For Nomura not to take advantage of this situation would not do the character any justice.

"Darkness will become light, Light will fall into darkness"
I agree for the most part, and like I said, this theory is incomplete due to lack of information. However I will at least respond to what I can. Unlike Riku, Terra's adventure was a fight against his inner darkness. He hated himself for having it, yet was constantly being goaded into useing it. Terra inevitably is taken over by Xehanort. But as you can see, in the few cutscenes that take place within Terranort, Terra begins to resist, and every time he is seen for the remainder of the game he has a brilliant glowing aura. He even uses this light to help Aqua in the final battle. The difference between Terra and Riku is, Terra fights to overcome his darkness and be rid of it, Riku embraces it and vows to use it as a weapon to protect people. So Terra is far more likely to become a light based character. As for Aqua, again stating that there is not enough info for solid conclusions. 10 years is a LONG time. 10 years surrounded by nothing but darkness is even longer. To think that she will make it out of there in the same condition she was at the end of BBS is just silly. Aqua's skills are far superior to that of the other two BBS protagonists, there is really no contesting that, just play the game for like 5 seconds. Those natural skills, her terrifying mastery of magic, and 10 years immersed in darkness would make her into the perfect final boss for BBSv2. There is no real rule that states that a final boss has to die. If Ven and Terra can defeat the darkness that has taken her over she can still return as a protagonist in KH3. As long as they dont let Sora fight her, there is absolutly no reason why she cant turn evil for one game and then return because of the bonds with her friends.

That song was an abomination that even the glee kids couldnt salvage. It was nice of them to try and salvage that poor girls reputation, but a terrible god aweful song is just that, a terrible god aweful song.

"Darkness will become light, Light will fall into darkness"
"Darkness will become light, Light will fall into darkness" As the release date draws ever closer Tetsuya Nomura has seen fit to taunt us with cryptic sayings. This simple phrase has plunged the entire fanbase deeper into speculation. Theories like the fall of Disney Castle, Riku mysterious desiding to go against the pledge he made in Chain of Memories and embrace light, or even the Lightside Posterboy himself somehow becoming a villain. Upon some contemplation I came to another conclusion. If in fact this line were to refer to characters in the series, then this is a more likely scenario. I just thought of this idea so forgive me for not having put as much research into it as my other theories. I may look deeper into it as time goes on and more information becomes available. Darkness will become Light: If you read my other theory (Xehanort's Grand Scheme), I stated that Xehanort and Terra are now separated due to Xehanort's splitting himself. As a result of this Terra's conciousness is left floating around without a home. Sooner or later he will regain a new body, by whatever means Nomura sees fit. If you have played Terra's story you can tell how much he hates his darkness. Xehanort used Terra's darkness to gain control of his body, but as you can see throughout the final chapter, Terra radiates with a light far brighter than anything else seen in that game. He also helps Aqua in her battle against Final Terranort. My guess is that when Terra gains a solid form again he is going to be a Juggernaut of Light-Infused Power. What role he will play in KH3D I can't say because there isnt enough information to form a theory. My guess is he will most likely "Reform" at the end of the game. In Contrast Light will fall into Darkness: Something that was stated a few minutes ago on this forum snapped this thought into my head. Aqua. Aqua was by far the most rediculously broken playable character in the series so far. Which is saying something, because I have played as Mickey. Ventus' battles with Vanitas were nightmareish. Yet every time she battled him she beat Vanitas soundly into the ground with little effort. Vanitas spoke of Aqua as an alternative route for forging the Kye-Blade. She has been a resounding, unmovable force of light since she was introduced, and thus far is the only playable character to assume the mantle of Master. Now I know a few people are thinking "But Rob, you are constantly preaching about Sora being unable to fall to the darkness because he is so strong in the light. What makes Aqua any different?" The answer is simple. One word, turmoil. When Sora sees his friends in danger, or sees a world fall to darkness his mind has one thought. "Charge forward and beat the badguy in the head with my shiny key until the darkness stops and I get friends back." Aqua on the other hand dwells on it. She worries about their safety, mourns the loss of a world and doubts her own power to stop the spread of darkness. At the end of the game Aqua manages to stop Terranort and send him back to Radiant Garden as she fades slowly into the Realm of Darkness. The game ends with her nearly giving up as she wanders the darkness, she is narrowly saved by a thought of her friends, and pushes forward in an attempt to find her way home. Over 10 years have passed since that day. 10 years of wandering in darkness, her only company, the heartless who live within the realm. I suspect Aqua, by now or during the events of KH3D, will have fallen into Darkness, and most likely gained considerable ability over its use. Gamers have seen this scenario before with the Queen of Blades herself Sarah Kerrigan. I wont go into the details of the Starcraft storyline as I am sure most people are familiar with it. But Kerrigan was left to rot on a world overrun by Zerg. A short time later she returned commanding the Swarm herself. Should this theory prove true, then Aqua will not only fall to darkness. But she is more than likely the final boss of Birth by Sleep Volume 2

Introduction Yaaaaay!
So I realise I have almost 100 comments on this site and at least three major theories concerning the future of the series and I havent even introduced myself properly yet. So, Here goes! My User name is Vorian_Rob, either name works for me when we speak. I am 22 years old (23 in november) and I am a US Marine currently deployed to Djibouti Africa. Video Games have always been a passion of mine, if nothing else, for the artistic value of it all. I love seeing a the beauty of a world entirely concieved in someone's mind come to full life in front of my eyes. I was actualy planning on going to school to become a video game designer before one day just randomly joining the Marine Corps. Kingdom Hearts is one of my absolute favorite series. The gameplay is fastpaced and original, the worlds are bright and nostalgic while still bringing forward new exciting adventures. But most of all I love the story, it goes from cute kiddy game to a very dark epic struggle between good and evil. I find it to be a lot of fun to search through the plotline and the hidden messages. I have formulated several pretty indepth theories about the series, why certain things happened, what will happen in the future. I invite you all to read them all, openly discuss your oppinions with me. I look forward to interacting with all of you. Untill we meet again, Vorian_Rob
