Cloud leapt up into the air, unleashing his ultimate limit break. escending from his high, he was certain he had defeated Sephiroth for good. Grinning in victory, Cloud turned around. His eyes widened. Zack was lying on the ground, a bloody wound piercing his chest, Struggling for breath. The purple clouds vanished. Zack stared at the grey, murky sky. Sephiroth rasied his giant staff, emitting from it a pure beam of purple clouds. The purple clouds encricled all the warriors, trapping them.. Cloud got a shuddering feeling of deja vu.. This was a mirror battle of that final showdown years ago. Nothing could enter now.. It was them and Sephiroth. Sephiroth could feel the toll the attacks were having on him. So he deicded to pull his trump card. He activated Supernova.

Sephiroth smriked evilly. It was time. Spreading his arms wide, the former SOLDIER began to glow with an unbearably bright light, blinding all the heroes facing him. The ground began to shake with an unearthly force. The light began to change colors, settling on rainbow. Just when the heroes thought they could take it no longer, it all stopped. They opened their eyes, and what they saw before them shook them to their core. Only Cloud knew what this was- Sephiroth had transformed to his god form, Safer Sephiroth. Sephiroth spoke in a booming voice, that echoed across the whole city. "Fools! i will destroy these two universes! With the help of my soon to be unleashed Meteor, nothing will stop me!" "Ah, Christ... Anyone who's not prepared for one hell of a battle, I suggest you run. Now." said Cloud.

Sephiroth reached over, pulling the arrow out of his wing. He smirked. He could sense him coming nearer... That was his plan all along. ==================== Zack got up with Serah's help, a new found energy rushing through him. That was when he heard it. The roar of an all too familair motorcycle. =========================== Cloud rushed through the streets at an incredible speed on the Fenrir. Seeing Sephiroth and Zack finally appear in his vision, he leaped impossibly high from his motorcycle, he unseathed his sword in the air, landing with an almighty thud on the ground between his greatest enemy, and greatest friend. "Heh. Fool" said Sephiroth. Attacks coming at him from both sides by the SOLDIER and Warrior. he effortlessly blocked all their attacks, his oversized sword gracefully flying through the air in a flurry of motion. Using a split second opportunity when the attacks stopped, he rose into the air. In a booming voice, he uttered, "Descend, Heartless Angel." Zack's eyes widened, and suddenly he felt his whole being drained of all energy, feeling as if he was hanging on by a thread of conciousness. He assumed Lightning was the same. "We...need...Cloud..."

Sephiroth could wait no longer. He glided down from his perch, brandishing his sword high into the air. He honed in on Lightning, going in for the kill, mirroring the way he killed Aerith years ago. But before his sword could make contact with flesh, a familiar sword blocked it's path. Scowling down, the one-winged angel saw Zack Fair smirking back up at him, a newfound fury in his eyes.

Sephiroth stood on top of a distant building, watching the battle take place. "Pathetic fools." He said to himself. "Can't handle two power hungry idiots, and an old fossil. Master of evil? Heh." Sephiroth unfurled his single pitch black wing, unfurling it to it's full extent. Gripping the Masumane, he waited for the perfect moment to strike. "They simply saw a fraction of my power earlier. They will never know what hit them." Little did Sephiroth know, a certain SOLDIER down below could detect Sephiroth's presence from a mile off, and now was no exception.

Thor had had enough. Letting out an almighty roar, he lifted Mjolnir to the heavens, gathering clossoal amounts of energy from the clouds above. The God of Thunder pelted the hammer at Venom with all his might. ============================================ Zack rushed forward into the ensuing fray. He had no idea when this had started, all he knew was that he had to help. Unseathing the Buster Sword, he charged fowards.

OOC: So sorry i was gone for two days guys. Back now. Zack slapped Neku's hand in a vigorous hand shake. "Name's Zack, Zack Fair, SOLDIER 1st Class!" He said proudly. Zack let go, not noticing Neku wincing and shaking his hand a little. Zack moved over to the now unconcious Ventus and picked him up in his arms. "So, whaddya say we get a move on and regroup, yeah?" said Zack. Neku nodded in agreement, and they moved on in the direction of their allies. Hopefully they hadn't gone too far. ========================================================================== "Jesus Christ." Said Captain America. "I have no idea what is happening, and it's not in a cool Inception kind of way."

OOC; Kingdom Sora hasn't come back and posted since this begun. I'm assuming he's not gonna come back to it, so should Cloud be up for grabs for anyone who wants him? He would be awesome in this.

Zack looked on as the newcomer began to attack Vanitas as well. Good, at least he's on my side, he thought. Zack leaped forward to resume his barrage of attacks on his enemy. Zack landed near him, holding his sword up to his head, and began to glow with a yellow light. He heard Angeal's voice ring through his head. "Prove your honour to me." Zack smirked, whispering, "I got it." Still glowing, he leaped forward, and before Vanitas even had time to form a coherent thought, he was being assualted with a fury of powerful punches and kicks from the soldier. With his enemy dazed from the blows, he took this opportunity to leap backwards, and then fly straight into the adversary, resulting in an expolsion of flames around Vanitas. Zack landed several meters away and smirked, unseathing his sword. Realsing he had no hope against these two together, Vanitas quickly retreated through a portal of darkness. "I need to find Xehanort.. They are more powerful then I thought.."

Yes! I managed to get a lock on Stark! thought Captain America. He knew he would be incoming right now. so he rushed ahead to help his friends. He noticed the newcomer, Dr. Doom. "Doom" growled Captain America. But he decided to take out their new adversary. "SCREW YOU JARETH THE GOBLIN KING!" he yelled while charging forwards. OOC: Anyone who gets that reference gets free cookies! ==================================================== Zack flew towards Vanitas, buster sword blazing. But before he could strike. he was gone! Zack looked around frantically for the enemy. Suddenly, a wooshing sound was heard. and Vanitas flew from the ground behind him, Keyblade high in th air, about to strike down on Zack. Luckily all those years of SOLDIER training gave him enchanced senses and reflexes. He quickly spun around and blocked his keyblade with his sword. Zack leaped backwards, landing a good distance away. He held his sword, gathering energy into it, wreathing it in flame. "FIRAGA!" he yelled, letting loose dozens of balls of flame at his adversary. Vanitas quickly jumped in the air and let loose a giant wave of crackling dark lightning, protecting himself from the fire. That was when Zack noticed the figure standing not far away from their battle.

Yes/No was defintely one of the best glee episodes ever. SO MANY AWESOME SCENES AND SONGS.

Captain America and Thor had indeed also noticed the conflict taking place. Thor rushed ahead to help them, as Captain America had finally got a lock on a signal. It appeared to be Stark. He began to try to track his exact coordinates, as they needed to be in touch with him as soon as possible. ================================================== Zack silently tailed the dark figure, He wanted to figure out who this guy was, as everything about him screamed 'evil', It was then that the figure suddenly let out a cackling, chilling laugh. "You can't hide forever, Ventus. I know exactly where you are." He shot a crack of dark lightning at a wall, blasting it into oblivion. And blasted to the ground with it... Zack's eyes widened. Ventus! That's who the blonde boy was! He flashbacked to meeting him years ago, at the Olympus Colliseum. Now this guy had made it personal. Zack unseathed the buster sword, attracting the figure's attention. He smiled wickedly. "So your'e the famous Zack Fair? Name's Vanitas. Pleasure to have someone else to destroy."

Captain America watched as Spider-Man emerged from the sewers.. He was glad that they found the spider, he would be a great help. "Captain, We need to locate the rest of The Avengers." said Thor. "Right you are." said Captain America..They needed all the help they could get- he sensed many more dark presences in this city... He then immeaditly began to try to contact the others. ======================================== Zack stood by, watching the others deal with their own affairs. He wasn't sure what to do with himself. He knew there were going to be threats even more powerful then Sephiroth in this city. Then, suddenly, something caught Zack's eye... Some sort of black portal, in an alleyway not far off. He saw the portal close, and a shady figure with jet black, spiky hair exit from the alleyway. The figure headed in the direction that blonde, spiky haired boy ran off to. Something about him didn't seem right... "I think I should tail him. I sense great darkness radiating off him..."

As everyone filled each other in and talked, Captain America stood with Thor. "Have you heard anything from Stark, Hulk or Hawkeye?" he asked the god of thunder. "No, my old friend, I have been searching for them two, but I cannot pick up their signals. They could be anywhere." Then, suddenly, they both perked up their heads at the same time, having distinctly heard a yell. "Did you hear that as well?" said Thor. "Yes, and it sounded famlair to me...it's coming from below us." ======================================================= Zack finally found his Buster sword in the rubble. Glad to be back with his companion, he swung it in place on his back. He then looked around, observing the ensemble. Xion and Terra, Lighting, Captain America, Thor, Laura and Cable. He was glad Sephiroth was out of their hair, as he was the only one here who truly knew the power Sephiroth had. He knew he had been playing his mind games, simply testing them, sizing up the competition, so to speak. If he really wanted to kill them all, he would have done it. Cloud was the only one who stood a chance against him.

When I'm ancient and can't look after myself, let alone move to play video games, I will make my grandson play them for me. And poke him with my walking stick if he sucks.
