Rafael squeezed his eyes shut grunting in pain. Once the bullet was out he dug around in his bag for some gauze and a wrap bandage. "Here put that on I can't do it with one hand." He said handing Coyote the supplies he needed. Peter winced, "Uh I'll get you some water!" He ran off to the kitchen to fill up a glass. He began to wonder why so many mundys were surrounding fabletown. Peter returned tot he main room of the apartment with a glass of water and waited until Coyote was finished to hand it to Raf.

Rafael finally let go of Coyote and slumped back on the couch. Peter came rushing in with the bag and Raf opened it to reveal a pretty extensive first aid kit. He got out some thin tweezers and heated then with his lighter to sterilize it. "Now would you be of some help and get this bullet out of my shoulder?" He held the red hot tweezers out to Coyote and grabbed a rag to bite on so he wouldn't make even more noise then they already had. Peter watched from across the room so not to get in the way.

Rafael growled, "And get yourself killed? Yeah sounds like an awesome plan." He managed to drag Coyote out of the forest grumbling about how it should be Coyote dragging him and not the other way around. He walked up to his apartment and knocked on the door hoping Peter went in already. Peter sat up groggily and looked at the door. "Peter its me Rafael, let me in!" Came a muffled yell from outside. Peter scrambled off of the couch and opened the door, "What happened?" Raf ignored him, "Go grab the black bag from on my wardrobe in my room." Peter nodded and ran off.

Raf hit Coyote over the head with the fist of his good arm. "Shut up and help me would ya?" He said angrily getting to his feet. He staggered slightly as a wave of pain came over him. "I have the stuff I need for this at my place." He grabbed Coyote by his scruff dragging him along so that he wouldn't go after the hunter. Knowing Coyote and how brainless he was, he would by in a mundy police station before anyone could say moron. He let his arm hang limply not wanting to agitate his wounded shoulder.

Cory sighed and rubbed the back of her head. With a shrug she went back to her tool shed keeping in mind that it might be best not to bother Aya. She sat on a bench in the garden with a newspaper in her lap, a cigarette hanging out of her mouth. The news was always on about some new killer that threatened everyone and everything the great city of London stood for blah blah blah. Cory set the newspaper down looking out on the land surrounding the manor, she took a long draw from her cancer stick before putting it out and getting back to work.

'Too late to warn him." Rafael thought as he jumped off of his branch landing on the hunters head and scratched at his face. The hunter screamed in pain and grabbed the tabby that was attacking him throwing it on the ground shooting his rifle near it before taking off at a run. Probably back to his truck or whatever he used to get there. Rafael turned back into a human and groaned his pain. The shot from the rifle and lodged itself in his shoulder. A very large string of curses followed at his failed attempt at digging out the bullet.

Cory grinned and watched them leave, she then entered the manor just in time for Veran to be kicked. She flinched in sympathy of his pain but figured he deserved it anyways. She reached over Oishii to grabbed a pancake, folded it in half before taking a bite out of it. She looked over at Aya, "Are you ok Miss Aya?" She asked carefully, though she was only the gardener she always tried to be of any use she could to the girl.

(wow you guys gave me a heart attack with all the notifications i thought i was left behind^^''') Cory finished up in the garden and jogged over to the commotion at the front of the manor. She noticed a boy laying in her bushes, smashing them in the middle. When he got up a large gaping hole was left. She restrained her intense desire to kill him and instead turned to Lady Aya. She seemed uncomfortable, however Veran seemed to be handling it. She stood off to the side in case she was required to interfere in order to remove the men from her Lady's property.

Peter unlocked the door to Rafael's small apartment and went in. He has stayed with the cat before and knew where the extra blankets were. He spread then out on the couch and settled down staring at the ceiling. He wondered how everyone would take a mundy knowing their secret. What if the kid did tell on them? Would anyone even believe him? Peter sure knew about that problem. He sighed and closed his eyes nodding off to sleep. Raf crouched down close to the branch to watch Coyote making sure other animals or hunters were around to cause trouble. In the distance he saw a flicker of orange. 'Hunter.' He immediately thought and scampered off through the trees to investigate. Although Rafael always kept an eye out, hunters were extremely rare so close to fabletown. When he got closer he slowed down so not to make any noises.

"Naw I got a key to Rafael's place for the night." He smiled waving Anna off. "I'll see you guys later." He walked away and down the street. He didn't want to go to Rafael's apartment until he wanted to sleep. He always felt awkward being in other people's homes so he decided to walk around a for a bit instead. Raf nodded and turned into a tabby quickly climbing up the trees. He jumped from branch to branch silently going deeper into the forest where the wildlife would be. He adjusted himself to the better vision of a cat and looked around the darkened woods. He stopped to scan the area making sure his buddy was below him, he made a soft sound to let Coyote know there was a small deer nearby.

Peter looked at the boy and waved at him pulling one of his usual grins. He saw the boy wince at looked at Anna, "Uh what happened?" He looked at the burns on his arms, "Wait that looks like... You guys burned him?!" He was about to say something else when Little Red showed up, "You said you were going home and that's where you should be." He crossed his arms over his chest. He knew he was being hypocritical but he wasn't the one that fainted at the sight of the body. Raf walked down a little ways passed the town and into the forest. He suddenly felt calm surrounded by trees instead of buildings. He looked back at Coyote, "I spot you kill?" He asked even though that was the only way they could really do it. It wasn't like Coyote could climb trees, and Raf wouldn't be big enough to bring down anything.

"oh uh it was no problem.. heh" He mumbled looking at the pitiful remains of his money and shoving it into his pocket. He took a long drink from his soda and walked out of grocery store. "I'll see ya later then." He shoved his hands into his pockets and started walking down the street. Rafael had given him a key to his apartment for the night. He didn't enjoy being the subject of pity but at this point he had to accept any offer of help he could get. People were getting more and more tired of him hanging around and it was getting harder to find places to stay. As he wandered down the street he ended up heading back tot he crime scene of that mundy lady. He figured he should tell Anna that Little Red was safe. "Hey Anna!" He yelled running up to her. "Lit- oh.. hey who is this?" Rafael snarled at Coyote. "Whatever lets go." He grumbled shoving him away. He walked out of the shop and locked it up. With everything going on lately one could never be too careful. "The usual spot?" He asked looking over at his poor excuse of a friend.

Sybille smiled at the sight of Ander and trotted over to him. "Get some good stuff? I got desert." She giggled and showed him the bagged of almonds. "You ok? Your eyeing the guards an awful lot... You don't think they were sent to find me do you?" She looked around but none of the guards seemed to pay her much attention.Her new clothing must be helping her to blend in with the rest of common place market goers. Joker looked down, "Heard that." She grinned and jumped down. "There are a few guys from my crew at that old hide shop. You know the one that does the tanning and all." She started walking internally pulling together her confidence. She glanced back to ensure Ruby was following and decided to stick to the ground for her sake. She was doing Joker a favor after all.

Cory stepped down from her ladder to admire her work. "Much better" she mumbled to herself stowing the ladder and shears in the shed. She then grabbed a spray bottle full of soapy water she had prepared the day before and set out to spray the roses. She had specially planted white roses this year having to hunt all over London to get them. However she knew they were some of Lady Aya's favorites and it was all she needed as incentive for finding them. She carefully spritzed the water onto the leaves to keep away harmful insects and diseases. She shrugged off her coat folding it over a bench not too far away from the rose garden as the tree trimming had caused her to warm up.

Cory walked out of the kitchen with a piece of bread in her mouth whilst pulling on a jacket. She never did mind getting up early and in fact thought the morning was the best time to work in her Lady's gardens. She made her way to her tool shed finishing up her breakfast as she walked. She noticed an oak tree closer to the treeline of the wooded area around the manor had grown out of shape and so grabbed a step ladder and some large shears. Cory hummed an old Scottish folk song as she ascended the ladder to trim the tree. She would hop off and take a couple steps back every few minutes to ensure the shape was turning out right. She had caught word that her fiance was arriving for another visit today. She couldn't fathom being engaged at Lady Aya's young age but after living with her aunt, Cory has observed that nobles are not creatures of reason.

Peter glanced over at Little Red before walking into the store. "Whatcha want? I got paid a little something from Mary so pick whatever you want." He smiled and grabbed a lemon lime soda. Raf made a low growl at the comment. "What did you just call me?" He was always touchy about people calling his true form small, weak, house broken or any variation of those terms. It took a lot of tricks and brains to get to where he was and he didn't appreciate being lowered back to what he had begun as. He took a breath and calmed himself down. "Maybe a hunt would be good." He adjusted the hat that was on his head and gave Coyote a look that dared him to make another comment.
