Well, looks like I finally beat FFXIII, after docking over 200 hours into it across three playthroughs. I'll probably replay FF13-2 now.

I put Vanille in my party since Fang wasn't being an effective saboteur (Vanille has a tier-2 maxed improved debuff weapon, so that really helped) and apparently poison works wonders against him. After a while when he was at low health, I summoned Shiva and let him have it.

I'm not talking about his second form. I consider all the forms of a certain boss as a whole, so that's probably what misled you. It's his Progenitorial Wrath move, I might just quit out and max out a couple of the Cherub's Crowns to get a better chance.

Okay so I got to the final boss of FF13 and what the firetruck. I have like, three Cherub's Crowns equipped on my party leader yet Orphan's still able to get me with his Death move. What the firetruck is this bullshit
