He'll probably have some sort of affiliation with water, much like Yang does with fire.Also a heads up to the new RWBY members here: When you guys are rp'ing as your character, try and use a color other than default to avoid confusion. For instance, I use goldenrod colored font when I'm speaking for Yang.

Beautiful review! Just wanted to point out though, Neptune's weapon IS a type of polearm, but it's also a gun it's also a trident. For King Neptune, eh??

This is the first time there's been constructive criticism on this thread. Props to you, Firaga.
Well if you think about it, Yang also is sharing a room with her sister. Yang has an extremely motherly touch to her, so obviously she's going to gravitate towards Ruby more than anyone. She is used to loud, charismatic people rather than Blake's standoffish type. At least Weiss and Ruby share the "Combat Skirt" thing and have their little moments. But it'll be harder for Blake and Yang to connect, mainly because Blake rarely speaks and Yang isn't patient enough to take time and comfort her yet. Like you said, though, we still have room for character development. It'll just take longer for them to connect. Wow, I can't believe a comedy show is trying to be funny.
Coming off of what Firaga is saying, there is a lot of getting-to-know-you stuff with team RWBY and JNPR in this season. But keep in mind that Miles and Kerry and Monty are doing this on purpose. They actually confirmed in various interviews (I'll link them under the cut) that they want the characters to grow with the audience, and have the fans relate to them. The action scenes are amazing, and, quite frankly, the icing on the cake. But Monty choreographs all of the fight scenes, so you gotta appreciate the work he put into them. You just have to be patient with the animators, they'll give us action eventually. You have to remember this a show about teenagers in an academy. Don't expect action every second. P.S. I do respect Firaga's opinion. I respect anybody that criticizes the show and takes it seriously. Doesn't mean I can't be a voice of reason. These interviews are each more than an hour long, so watch them if you're really bored!!
