I wanna say first off idk if it's your type of game because I've yet to hear your opinion on turn based rpg, dating sim type, high school simulator games. Take what I say with a grain of salt cuz I am biased on this game. However 1. The combat. Over the years Atlus always improves Personas combat in small ways. Persona 5s combat took a very smart approach with a new addition called the baton pass. Hit an enemy's weakness and get an extra turn. Or use the baton pass to have someone else in your party use their unique skills to hit weaknesses and keep that momentum going. 2. The music. Holy Nep on ice I'm in love with this ost. 110 tracks of jazzy awesomeness. The Persona series has always been praised for its soundtracks. They hold concerts for it too. I have it on as background music lately and it's just great. 3. The style. I am not a parrot. I do not repeat things everyone else has said. That does nothing but waste everyone's time. However if you haven't heard anything about persona 5 then you probably don't know what's been said the most: This game radiates style. From its red white and black color scheme to its menus. The amount of love that is put into the menus was so wonderful. 4.The story. Atlus actually went out of their way to make a PSA for everyone not to spoil the story so no let's plays for awhile. Not that hadn't stopped some people from trying. The story pulls you in from the beginning by showing you an event 80% into the game and then rewinding to the beginning as the protagonist tells the story. I keep playing and playing because I wanted to know what happened next. No spoilers. 5. You choose what to do. After a long linear tutorial that makes kh2 tutorial look like a short wait Persona 5 throws you into Tokyo. You can spend your time doing whatever you want. Hang with friends, go fishing, go to batting cages, dungeon crawling, work at jobs, etc etc. your free to do and say whatever.
