Not that type of duels, that is called Riding Duels, which could make some duels more interesting. Speed duels is, as the name suggests, a much more limited and faster duel. Pretty much the type of duels in duel links: http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Speed_Duel_(format) Additionally, there is no Main Phase 2(biggest issue anime-wise honestly). Also, there is an extra monster zone in addition to the 3 main monster zones(this page was made before the announcements about link format)...

If they use it only for minor/joke duels, I am all for it. Granted, I have no idea why Komoney think it is a good idea. Games like Duel Links tend to die VERY quickly.

It can be good when duels are needed to be quick though(For example, most duels in the friendship cup didn't need to last as much as they did) Although I would prefer it DSOD style much better.
