All I know for certain is that Nomura has stated that there is a plot connection between Chi and the other games, and there are five Chi characters whom some believe may become (or may already be) vessels for Xehanort.

I'm most interested to see what gives with Terra. I've heard multiple theories about where he is, his current state of existence, and how he'll return, and I find a fair number of them plausible, in addition to my own personal theory. Still, I wouldn't be surprised if Nomura managed to surprise us with Terra. Either way, he's my favorite character and I'm ready to see him again.

If the MX we saw in KH3D wasn't Terra's body being shaped by MX's heart, my theory is that Terra is one of the six hooded vessels whose face we never saw. Mickey: "There's me and Riku and Sora, and my three missing friends..." MX: "But Sora and another on your list belong to me now." A line earlier in the same cutscene makes it quite clear that Mickey's "three missing friends" are Terra, Aqua, and Ventus. As for "another on [the] list," Sora's already been mentioned, Mickey and Riku clearly don't belong to MX, and we know where Aqua and Ventus are. This just leaves Terra. YMX said that his mission from MX was to gather different versions of himself throughout time, so there's no reason why Master Xehanort, Terra-Xehanort, and Xemnas can't all be there at the same time. Also, Nomura has hinted that there's a plot connection between Kingdom Hearts Chi and the other games, and there's a theory that points to five Chi characters who might be future (or current) vessels for Xehanort. If this IS true, that still leaves the identity of one of the hooded Xehanorts from DDD in question. My primary theory is that Terra is one of the hooded Xehanorts, though I can also see the theory of Terra's body taking MX's form being true.

It's basically the only truly happy memory Roxas has... sitting on the clock tower eating ice cream with his friends. Everything else is either just mission work or angst.

HOLY CRAP I never noticed that before!!! Personally I think the idea of it being Roxas in black coat to parallel Sora's shadow becoming the Darkside is more likely, but the possibility of it being Xion is very intriguing!

This actually helped a lot! It also gave me an idea for a different way to search for a translation. Between this video and some other translations I've come up with what I think is the closest I'll get until 2.5 comes out (considering that the translations are never literal).

I've heard this theory before, don't know how likely I think it is but it's very intriguing!

In Birth By Sleep, the secret movie from KH2FM (NOT BBS the game), Japanese text appears on the screen at certain points. I haven't been able to find a translation for the text anywhere. Does anyone know what it means or where I can find a translation?

Gotcha ^^ And I think I know what you mean, too. I personally don't ship them, but I could easily see them having a brother-sister type relationship.. and KH is full of those anyway

The reason I'm leaning towards the original is because I know that he's going to find the English voices much more engaging than Japanese voices with English subs. He's going to see Xemnas talking to Aqua's armor, the Lingering Sentiment, and the Secret movie.

Aside from the scene where Xemnas talks to Aqua's armor, the Lingering Will, and the secret movie at the end, is there anything majorly relevant to the main plot? I've only seen bits of KH2FM. And as far as gameplay goes, it doesn't matter. He's in it for the story.

Yes to all! Though I love the KH Days trio, I think I'd rather see Namine (and maybe Isa if he's saved) become friends with the Days trio and become a bigger group while keeping the same friendships intact. ^^

I'm introducing a relative to the KH saga, and since I don't own any of the KH consoles, we're watching walkthroughs. For KH1, Re:CoM, and Days, I'm using KH 1.5 ReMix. I think we're going to be ready for KH2 before 2.5 comes out, in which case we'll have to use either the original KH2 or subbed scenes from KH2FM. I'm definitely going to show him the Lingering Sentiment battle and the scene where Xemnas talks to Aqua's armor, but aside from that, is there anything significant that we'll miss by using the original KH2 instead of KH2FM?

I like your idea about the redemption subplot for Terra... especially since it would mean more Terra screen time (Terra's my fave ). I'd also lie to see the other Somebodies. And I'd like SOME pairing to be made officially canon! TerQua, please ^^ THAT would be AWESOME

As far as the plot/story of KH3, what would you like to see happen? Even if it most likely won't happen, what would you absolutely love to see in KH3? Personally, I really want to see Terra's return (which was all but confirmed by Re:Coded). While I know that both are less likely, I'd like to see Master Eraqus come back as well, and I'd like to see Vanitas get a new chance--seriously, if you look up his backstory, it's tragic. Last and least likely, I'd love it if either Terra or Riku got to deal the final blow against Xehanort. Both of them have suffered the most as a direct result of Xehanort's actions. I think they deserve it. Opinions? And what would you like to see?

I agree that it wouldn't bear much plot weight. Angst, yes, relevance, no. Yen Sid is basically an advisor-type character. Now killing Master Eraqus, that drove the plot forward. While the closest we've seen to Yen Sid saving anyone is him sending someone else to do the saving, Master Eraqus could have seriously impacted the events in the Keyblade Graveyard that occurred after his death, as well as Terra's emotional state. Yen Sid would need to somehow have a more active role or play a larger part in the plot for killing him to have a purpose besides angst.
