PS3 is a good system but i see where it could have more improvement, Ram for example is lacking on the PS3 this is why to my knowledge party chats (while in game) cant be held on PSN, Sony even conformed that.

as i said before they are matched except for bluray, when you cram some much into a dvd it is costly in power trying to uncompress it which lowers the performance of the xbox , oh and blue ray tech is not owned by sony lol, its a method of reading a disk, blu-ray is just a version of the blue ray tech, no ones owns it sony just owns blu-ray, the brand, blue ray tech is just the use of a blue laser instead of a dvds red laser. Sony only owns a popular brand that uses it. so XBOX 720 can use a blue ray just maybe not blu-ray.

I dont think so if you look at the specs for 360 and PS3 they are relatively matched, the only key differance is Blu-ray, why, when a huge sized game comes out like FF13, blu-ray disks can hold a lot of info, dvd(360) disks not so much in comparison, how they get around this is a thing called compression, because of the enormousness amount of info, blu rays dont have to worry but it, dvds versions have to cram in in there using compression, but when you have to assess that memory its cpu intensive, making the xbox 360 pull a double load when processing the compressed data, (uncompress then read for xbox360) and (just read for PS3), and as for 720 if it uses bluray then it will be six times stronger then PS3 because of the graphic card. 360 and PS3 are equal in graphics and processing except for blu ray. if the 360 had bluray they would be dead equal. -source i have taken many computer science classes and i had the problem first hand.

Why is V13 taking more then 6 years to complete seriously, Nomura said it himself it takes 2 to 3 years to complete a major game, its taking 6 so far and its not even done. They should drop the portable non-since and have that team along with the final fantasy 13 team (not versus) to start development on art, concepts, levels, story, etc... and when Versus is finished they can have the Kingdom Hearts Team come in, and begin with a running start on Kingdom Hearts 3, simple. Square's Games are amazing real works of art, but financially they are taking a big risk on Versus, one limiting the consumer radius to only PS3 owners and, two taking more 6 years to complete it, after that you have them taking 7 years to get around to developing the most wanted game in history KH3. And i also heard if Versus does bad they will be forced to release a multi platform KH3, which might turn out to be another FF13 where developers blamed the Xbox 360,for it being short and linear because of hardware limits, even when you see on comparison videos that PS3 only preformed 2 fps higher then the Xbox, and that's probably because compression issues with DVD disks (for short trying to stick 1 blu ray into only 3 dvds haha) Square is treading on thin ice... with this one
