  1. Characters: Likable unique characters who act realistic- not overly good or overly evil. Plot: An interesting plot is essential. Minigames: If they are there, they have to be really really good.Items: Unique items with innovative uses that can be used in a multitude of ways are interesting. Enemies: Eh...make sure they're not annoying and everywhere- they should only be there when necessary. Music: Music is the icing on the cake- it makes a game that much more epic. Any music style works, as long as it goes with the games art style. Sidequests: There should be many, all with story value. Bosses: Memorable bosses who require thinking and intelligence as opposed to brute level-grinding are awesome. Nostalgia: Ehhh.... in sequels, references to the original game are okay? But relying on nostalgia for a plot is stupid. Gameplay: Fun gameplay that is a mix of simple fighting and innovative thinking/ puzzles intrigue me. Innovation: This isn't essential to a good game, but it is essential to a GREAT game. Graphics: Doesn't matter- as long as it doesn't detract from the game. Design: Matters. Great designs that are interesting and fun to look at can make a games atmosphere. Exploration: Games that allow you to do whatever even when you have a main quest/goal make my day. =D Etc.: Cliche dialogue and/ or plots can ruin a game. Ask someone who writes well to check over your script! In games, I... like: fun happy silly games with serious twists dislike: cliche bloody gory games without stories My favorite game is... This is a tie between Zelda and KH. This would make games much better for me... If every game had unique and moving plots/ dialogue. Some other games I like include... SSB, Pokemon, Luigi's Mansion, Kid Icarus, FF, Lara Croft, TWEWY, Mario games in general, etc. The best game would... be emotional and moving. What makes a good game in general? Innovative gameplay, unique designs, beautiful music, and a moving plot.
  2. =D Feedback is welcome!!
  3. Thank you! =D
  4. A fanart of Zelda from Skyward Sword that I doodled. =D
  5. I agree. However, I think everybody can say that subtle yet important plot points are often hard to grasp on first playthroughs. A case in point would be the Ventus-Roxas-Sora-Vanitas connection.
  6. We all love and adore KH, but I think we all agree that some things need to be fixed, so just list the things you'd like to see fixed. =D 1.) Platforming... 2.) The story's accessibility and understandability on first play-through. 3.) Somehow, reduce the amount of button mashing. I'd love to see KH3 create a gameplay environment in which the innovative gameplay style of KH was combined with intuitive thinking and thought processes. 4.)More Kairi, =3 5.) Oh yes. Put this somewhere in KH3, preferably around the final fight with Xehanort.
  7. Haha, thanks! For some reason they upped the time limit, but that worked out pretty well for us! =D Not too sure, but if not I'll try to record us playing it one last time before we go up to perform it.
  8. Nicole and I got into the talent show! =D We also now have five whole minutes to perform in front of the entire school in a month. I'm so happy! Can't wait to blow them away with our Kingdom Hearts music. 0w0
  9. We recorded what we played for the audition! =D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8TNt3DzTCT4&feature=player_embedded Roxas's Theme: This was learned mostly by ear- (You might be able to hear a small nod to Ventus somewhere. ) Riku's Theme: The original song was simply too mellow, and that really wasn't transferable to piano and flute without feeling too empty, so we took pieces and bits from the Piano version and other battle-themes Yoko wrote to make it our own. Dearly Beloved: Simply the song in it's beautiful glory.
  10. JOHN GREEN IS ON THE TIME 100 LIST http://time100.time.com/2013/03/28/time-100-poll/slide/john-green/ If you're a fan, you should totally go vote for him! =D
  11. This is the freaking most ah-dorable ukulele bass thingy ever.
  12. Aaaand we're still auditioning. =D We told them about our situation and so NOW we have to send them a recording on Monday of our audition. I guess I'll post it on here too!!
  13. Thanks to everyone, but unfortunately my friend and I will not be auditioning- some family issues involving her grandfather came up. Thank you though!
  14. Thank you! =D If we can find someone to record it we will.
  15. We're doing the KH1 piano version with her playing the flute part between a mix of the KH2 counter-melody and the 358/Days counter-melody. =)Thank you everyone! =D
  16. Me and my friend Nicole are trying out for the talent show tomorrow- I'm playing piano and she's playing flute. We're planning on doing a Kingdom Hearts medley, with Roxas's theme, Riku's Theme, a short piece of Xion's theme as a transition, then finally Dearly Beloved. Wish us luck!!! =D
  17. This may sound cruel but...this could actually work out for the company, because thus far the direction they've been heading wasn't that great. Loved Wada, but hopefully his successor heals the company and makes it great again. =)
  18. Honestly, they should have scrapped the Wii name and marketed an entirely different brand name.Same with the 3ds, most people think the Wii U is an add-on to the Wii, and that the 3DS is only a DS with a 3D feature, -_-
  19. Fish face= That awkward soulless generic expression that plagues KH1.
  20. Eh, well, kids who are supposed to be fourteen look ten in the games, so I suppose the people of KH just have a growth disability.
  21. Haha, =D It's still a great game series, but it does have its flaws. The few things in this list that I think are almost fixed would be the camera, the abundance of consoles, and the fish face.Like, fish face annoys me way too much. But in Dream Drop Distance, the fish face generic-expression was almost nonexistent, so.
