  1. I haven't been diagnosed but my school psychologist brought up ADD when I was at my IEP meeting at school. However when I was little I wouldn't do my homework because I wanted to watch TV (at that point hw was at the bottom of my list of priorities) but since sophomore year I put more effort in doing my work, the only thing making me put it off is a combination of what I said before, the difficulty of the work or the fact that I don't want to do it at that point in time and the fact of doing hw for 2-3+ hrs straight deters me from wanting to do it.
  2. Whenever I come home from school I am tired as can be, the first thing I do when I get settled at home I get in the bed because I'm so tired. This leads to procrastination i.e. me not starting my homework till 8-10pm. Also if I previously procrastinated like how I did none of my homework over spring break (only 1 week and 1 day) that increases my work load. With procrastination, I am distracted by nearly EVERYTHING around me. If I didn't have my phone PSP or my laptop, I'd be distracted by the noises I hear, I'll play with the plants on the table (dining room table), daydream, play around in the chair, etc. This is most common when I do work that: I have to look up the answer/ information, I have to write a response (paragraph), has extensive amount of reading, or any amount of work that is somewhat difficult for me. I noticed when I take tests, quizzes, when I know the answers I finish sooner and I don't get distracted as much when I have to think about the answers/ when I don't know it. What are some tips to help me not be so tired when I come home from school? How do I 1 stop procrastinating and 2 stop getting so distracted by everything around me and better focus on my work? Also for people who have similar procrastination problems what are some tips that you can give to someone who has struggled for years with it?

  6. The 2 things that deter me from getting an Ultrabook are the fact that there is no disk drive, although I barely use mine, and that most to all Ultrabooks use SSD, which tend to get expensive past 256gb (trying to keep a budget between 1000-1500 dollars)I looked at the UX31 and although I was able to find an external Optical drive (which Im unsure about how it specifically connects to the laptop) 2 things that I didn't specify that I'm also looking for that weren't present are a dedicated graphics card and multi-core processor.
