I think they are exactly what they are called. When Sora or Riku have a flashback they're remembering a certain point in time. Ofcourse I could be wrong...

Alright you know when MX uses darkness to scar Eraqus' face? MX reveals his true intentions right? I then noticed that during the beginning of the game, Eraqus invites MX to see his pupils become keyblade masters. Eraqus' face is already scarred, so that means that the events I previously described had already happened. So why would Eraqus invite MX if he knew he was evil? Edit: My game is the final mix version, so my reports are in Japanese
