  1. That new KH3 trailer has me back on the Hype Train. Also hi everyone!
  2. I haven't really done anything on here in forever. How are you all doing?
  3. If I made a subreddit that would be of interest to KH and FF fans, would I be allowed to briefly ask people here to check it out?
  4. Hi

    Hi everybody
  5. So I'm actually working on making a youtube video. It's a long, in-depth analysis of The Force Awakens, debunking all the lame hate it's been getting over the internet. Writing the script now, I'm at 19 pages, 9 thousand something words, and I'm probably at about the halfway point. Yikes.
  6. Anyone here ever watch Tommy Wiseau's masterpiece: "The Room"? 10/10 greatest movie ever
  7. I'd say Coded and perhaps to a lesser extent 3D. And even then, I don't mind Coded and I like 3D haha
  8. Mythril- Totally agree. He's incredibly important to SE, and likely had very little to do with what people say was their downfall. I'm not gonna say he's a perfect director or anything, since there are a couple Nomura-directed games where he seems to have his head comfortably up his own butt, but the way I see it, there are worse butts to have your head stuck in.
  9. You mean "Creative Producer and original concept" for All the Bravest? Yeah that's really a good representation of his ability to make games.
  10. ignore the fact that I said on youtube twice
  11. I found a couple people on youtube who did angry rants about FFVIIR on Youtube, and both of them said Nomura is everything wrong with SE because (they thought) he was responsible for the XIII series. lol
  12. You could be right. I don't know, I guess this game just has one of those kinds of gameplays where it's really difficult to see what the player is actually doing to trigger the character's actions if you don't know how the game actually plays with controller in hand.
  13. Now that I'm playing Xenoblade Chronicles, I feel like the FF7R trailer looks a lot like a cross between the original FF7 gameplay and Xenoblade. As in, the ATB fills up with minor auto-attacks and then you choose what you can do after the gauge fills.
  14. That's exactly the kind of analysis I was hoping to get! Thanks man, I really appreciate it! I hadn't really looked into him that deeply while playing the game, so it's really neat to hear about him in that context.
  15. ugh, stupid word limit. I meant to finish that with: definitely not trying to call anyone out for saying he's the best villain, I'm just genuinely curious
  16. I totally respect that! Actually I do have an honest question though: What, in your opinion, makes Kefka an especially compelling villain compared to other villains in the series? I kinda want to understand him better, since while I did like him as a villain, I felt like I was missing some deep aspect of him that separates him from other villains I've seen. Like some people put him in his own league above all other villains ever and I couldn't really see that. Definitely not tryin...
  17. I just beat FF6 earlier, and... being totally honest, I personally enjoyed 7 and 9 more. I'm assuming this is probably a pretty unpopular opinion It's a very good game though!
  18. And besides, the first Pokemon game released in February, didn't it? I feel like they wouldn't actually start celebrating it until around that month.
  19. Whoa there, friend. That's not what they're saying at all. They're just saying that the only reason Star Wars is so hype right now is that the movie just came out and a ton of people (myself included) love it. It's like a rebirth of our childhood. I'm not trying to trash you for not liking it, but it's important to understand why it's everywhere.
  20. ? Dawn, I think you're taking the Star Wars hype a little too hard. You gotta understand that this series was expected to be completely dead after .. '04 I think it was. People are really hyped for this movie. Advertisements aren't forcing you to watch star wars, nor are they expecting you to dislike everything but star wars. I'm not entirely sure where you get that thought process, but regardless, I'm sorry it bothers you so much.
  21. Dawn- how is it forcing you (pun intended) to like it? You can just ignore the advertising you see for it. Like there were some heavily advertised movies that I didn't like, and I didn't care that I saw ads for them everywhere, for the most part.
