    Yeah it actually does. I have ADHD so mind often wants to focus on multiple thing at once. I often listen to music while doing work to allow me to focus on a task meeting my need to have a background task.

    It is not just any music. the actual theory was focused on Metal and Classical. Some music is said to cause distraction.
