The Light Novel is being localized. Yen Press now has the rights to Sword Art Online as of August 2013 and it an American Company based in New York City. The Publisher plans to publish two manga series, Sword Art Online Aincard and Sword Art Online Fairy Dance, and the Sword Art Online Light Novel. Expect it to come out in early 2014. It shouldn't be that hard to find if you're really desperate for the Light Novel.

Yeah, you kind of spoiled a little bit. Episode 19 revealed the fact that Leafa was actually Suguha. I recommend that you continue watching all the way because the last 4 episodes reveals quite a bit between Suguha and Kirito. But yes, she is unpopular in the way because I think of the fanservice and because mainly... Funny, just realized last year, Episode 19 came out right around this time
