lol yea. once you get used to newer technology its hard to go back unless ur good at putting urself in that generation's mindset where that technology was amazing just try using composite cables again. that used to be the standard and yea. some hardcore melee fans will probably have an attachment to the original. kinda like how some pokemon fans dont play the remakes. tis nostalgia nothin against it tho.

yea. i think the only thing that could topple melee completely and make melee almost obsolete is an HD remake

i was just told by a melee fan that he doesent believe that smash 4 has a very high skill cap. he said that he knows this because around release, he hosted and participated in smash 4 tournaments that were very succesful (200 people) and that famous smash 4 player showed up to them and he faced them. if what e says is true then i dont know what to think. so i ask people who know the fighting game scene better than i do. does smash 4 have a lower skill cap compared to most fighting games playe...

i played the first half of FF7 and then just stopped but dunno why. should i replay it before the remake come out or just play the remake?

i played through half of FF7 on ps1. and then i just sorta...... stopped. i played it enough to know that it was a fantastic game, but never finished it. and now, the remake is announced. what do you think i should do? should i replayhalf of FF7 and play the other half, all before the remake comes out to get understanding of what changed? just replay the first half again to refresh what happened so that i have a better idea and can understand what has changed while still have the game be completly new? or just wait til the remake come out and play that? each have their own benefits but i wanna know what you guys think. what should i do?

sometimes, i feel like i should give up on the idea that the smash community will ever be civil. i wont give up on it (because ive met good people in the smash community) but when i see stupidly angry people in a smash debate insulting people with opposite opinions, its hard to appreciate the smash community.
