  2. Nick sprinted forwards, dropping to his knees, and creating smooth ice on the ground in front of him to slide over. He leaned back, while the arcs of fire and lightning struck directly over him, accelerating on the ice. Finally rising to his feet, the frozen trail faded behind him, and he stood near the ledge of the building, looking over the chaos. Drats. Next time I'm snapping that pixie wand. Nick sighed (We seem to sigh a lot in this rp ^_^ ) and glared at the fading purple smoke. Wizard boy seems to have left. (Response to your second post:) Nick's surprise didn't show from under his hood, as the wizard traveled towards him with blinding speed. Coming back so soon? He felt an inner whoosh and knew they had been teleported somewhere a fraction before his eyes saw it. Nick took a gander around the magical cage, and the boy began informing him about his "choices." Cherishing the wizard's frustration for a moment before speaking, he said, "I'll have to decline. If all of you perish, things are actually more likely to 'go my way.'" Nick stood for a moment, his fists slowly clenching as darkness began to course through him out of his heart. "You see, " The shadows radiating from him grew and began to violently crackle. "-this realm doesn't have seasons," The walls and floor slowly shifted to tones between white and light grey. "-so, I'm giving it the gift-" There was a burst of shadows around Nick and a flash of white immediately after. "of Winter." A blizzard had filled the area, darkness intertwined with the blinding flurry of snow. If the scenario wasn't disorienting enough, ice sculptures of Nick were generously scattered throughout the room. A voice echo'd, "It would be in your favor to run away again, but you trapped both of us in here, meaning," there was a short chuckle, "you've doomed yourself."
  3. Nick let the snow drop from his hand off the edge. As it hit the ground, its dark sparks formed a Corridor of Darkness. Nick calmly let himself fall off the side of the building into the portal as a fire ball passed inches overhead. Here comes the tricky part. The portal opened up directly under the wizard, who Nick's icy hand shot up and dragged down without warning. They both reappeared on top of another building, a fair distance away from the battle. Now that he can't control them, the Heartless will finish off the others. Even that Fire Lord he summoned will turn against them. Nick shoved the wizard away and faced him, toying with the staff he took. "Nice toy," he tossed the staff over the edge, "Shall we begin?"
  4. The ice attack deformed into snow as it hit Nick. He held out his hand, admiring the pure white particles in it. That silly wizard; my own element would never harm me. Though, I still have to take care of him before the others fall. The snow in his hand began to crackle with shadows as he formed a plan.
  5. Hm, interesting, Nick thought as the ice attack hit him with the force of half a snowball. I can only will them to come here, but the wizard lad can actually control them in battle. That means if he dies, the Heartless will swarm everyone else. Nick started laying traps so small that he didn't have to make a gesture of any sort, only focus. Nearly invisible, thin icy patches formed around the wizard's feat. If he doesn't slip and fall, I have something else in mind.
  6. Hm, the girl with the wings is here too. Nick squinted and sighed. The Shadows don't seem to be very effective, but they'll serve as a distraction until that dragon can rip them apart. They don't seem to be fighting each other, either, which is unfortunate. Let's speed thing along. From the frosty depths of the Realm of Darkness, Nick willed an Ice Lord Heartless into the battle.
  7. Blue-hair was pointing at me. This can't be good. Oh look, everyone sees me now. Fantastic. Nick willed the Heartless to focus on the girl with the Dark Firaga; ice has a delicate relationship with fire. How much longer before they get overwhelmed? I need to get out of here.
  8. ((Ah, ok. I just looked back on the "Note:" part of my last post and saw how it could be a bit rude, sorry.))
  9. Hm, I wasn't expecting them to teleport here this quickly. Someone must be helping them directly. Nick grabbed the first Dusk, letting shadows from his hands slowly wash over it, followed by a thin, yet dense layer of ice. (Xehanort-Ventus style in the CGI) Unable to resist Nick's darkness, the Nobody was helpless as it was petrified. Dropping the frozen body over the edge, Nick, to his disappointment, didn't have time to watch it shatter on the pavement ten stories down, due to the other approaching Dusks. He wasn't feeling very good about this fight, having just spent a large amount of energy on setting up this whole scenario. What can I do without exerting myself? Nick dodged a strike from one Dusk and snagged its arm. After forming a bit of snow, directly from his hand, onto the Dusk, he pushed it into the second. The Dusks both quickly recovered and began moving towards him, side by side. Nick waited and watched. Finally, the two white shells grazed each other slightly on the snowy area in their approach. Snapping his fingers, Nick turned the snow to hard ice, doing the equivalent of handcuffing the two Nobodies together. It wasn't a difficult task to shove the confused Dusks over the edge. Back to the show. (Note: I never told anyone about wanting to join Xehanort. Those were all thoughts in Nick's head (Italics). If your character is simply telling Isa that to turn him against me, then she's very clever.) (Also, as you can see, Nick's not much of a fighter. He just manipulates battles until he can easily win. Don't count on him letting himself get thrown into the chaos easily.)
  10. Nick watched from the rooftop, smiling to himself. He noticed some Dusks, searching feverishly and made a guess who they were looking for. Cautiously, he froze the roof access door shut, and eye'd the fire escape nervously. He gazed around, looking for another perch to shake off his pursuers, who where getting close. No matter, any moment now, the Heartless, Isa, and the battle between them will end this soon. ((Note: No killing my actual character now that the decoy's dead, please.))
  11. As Foreworth drew out the blade, what appeared to be blood on it quickly turned to snow. Nick stood, motionless, for a second, and then shattered into countless fragments of ice. *** Nick sighed. I was starting to think they would discover it was a decoy without violence. A bit back, Nick had placed his hands on the wall behind him and quietly stepped back into the Corridor of Darkness he formed, while everyone's attention was on the new people showing up to the conversation. No one noticed as he reappeared on a nearby rooftop and left an exact copy of himself in the form of an ice sculpture. The entire time, he had been focusing his darkness, setting the ice traps and attracting Heartless. Hm, what's that? The blue-haired man? Oh my, things are just going too perfect.
  12. ((My character is trying to get the dark and light people in the group to fight each other. He didn't trap any darker characters with ice, so that the lights would suspect them. That's also why there were the bursts of darkness. I guess you can stay trapped for now.)) ((Also, feel free to take a swing at Nick.))
  13. (Awesome) I suppose a little group conflict couldn't hurt about now... Bursts of shadows, produced by Nick, suddenly appeared around all the dark figures in the group, including the girl with the sword. Heartless also appeared close by, that wouldn't attack the darker characters either. Along with the dragon, which someone had so kindly brought along, Nick's mass of Shadows Heartless and other small creatures appeared on the horizon. Before anyone could react, cubes of ice shot up and molded around the legs of all the light aligned individuals, temporarily rooting them to their spots. Perfect. The "heroes" of light will think their dark counterparts had planned this attack. Then those of the dark will have a chance to strike before the ice thaws or have defend themselves afterwards. Either way, by the time they're done squabbling, the Heartless will have them surrounded, and they'll all be doomed. (Feel free to kill "Nick." He stopped moving for a chilling reason.) (Also, if this seems like power gaming, I've been building up to it for quite a while. I'm sure you'll all be able to rp out of the scenario.) Needless to say, the temperature had significantly dropped.
  14. If this group organizes, it can be a serious threat. It seems Xehanort is winning whatever is occurring, and I'd probably be best off with him. I suppose he'd like it if I removed these characters, even the one who is his lackey with traitorous tendencies. Nick looked over the group, not revealing how intimidated he was by their appearances. When I'm done with these refuges, I'll go to this "Twilight Town." I'm guessing it was the place I was at earlier. If it's truly gone, I'll follow any sort of dark trail left behind, hopefully, to Xehanort. (My Character is going to join Xehanort, if that's alright. Does anyone play him?) Hm, what's that newcomer doing? "Ready to suffer?" This might lighten the workload... Nick smirked, as the large monster flew overhead and descended on the group. (Note: None of this is visible under his hood, he still appears not to be moving at all.)
  15. Nick doesn't answer, still motionless. Sunset is approaching, causing all their shadows to stretch out, and Nick's is particularly dark. Tiny bits of frost form in between the cracks of the concrete pavement. The group doesn't realize that Heartless are amassing and closing in from a distance.
  16. Thanks

Hi, I'm Nick. Kingdom Hearts was my first video game. The result is me being here, in 2013. Hanging around here seems to help contain my anticipation for Kingdom Hearts III, which we've all been waiting a good amount of years for, and the forum discussion is quite interesting. Anyway, I've recently become overcome with an urge to contribute quality media to the internet, being the massive amounts of trolling that has arisen. Note: I'm talking about bad trolling and spamming; the guys here are pretty funny. I'll be uploading edited pictures and GIFs here: http://kh13.com/forum/topic/47845-things-i-gimped-up/?do=findComment&comment=973661 And this is my Youtube channel, though, most of it isn't Kingdom Hearts related: In attempt to become a "Jack of All Trades," I've also gotten into digital music composition, programming in Java, and computer hardware. I'm also hoping to figure out Adobe After Effects, one of these days. You may see me around the rp threads too, and I'm constantly editing my posts because I have the curse/benefit of being a perfectionist (I added this in five minutes after the original thread; ironic, isn't it?). Good day.
  18. Any particular methods on how? I usually start off with a color select of an area to delete or free form select around the figure I want. From there, I carefully erase and use the smudge tool. I've also tried the composite detecting smart scissors and some other things, but the hair remains extremely difficult to extract. *** Thanks, everyone!
  19. I know Photoshop is a more common term for the title, but I wouldn't be telling the truth about what I used, and most of you guys are internet savvy enough to know what Gimp is. Tell me what you think! Not Made with Gimp: I didn't make this, but I figured you guys would like it: Any suggestions?
  20. Nick stood, with his hood down, flinching as loud clangs are heard from the nearby battle. Should I... pick sides? Foreworth had drawn a sword and declared herself a resistant follower of Xehanort. Nick was not sure why she did it, after one of the two newcomers had stated his complete hatred towards the man. Either way, Nick was starting to get the impression that he'd be hearing a lot more about his favorite author. Right now they're talking, but things will escalate. It always does when light and dark meet. Planning ahead could ensure I end up unscathed. The area got a barely noticeable amount colder, and Nick stood, even more motionless than before. (Note: The cleverest of you can tell something's up because I'm no longer flinching)
  21. ((I think I can string something together)) The girl started to shift, and Nick sighed in relief. Alright, she'll get up, we'll finish off these Heartless, and they'll explain everything. "Huh?" A Keyblade flew, spinning through the air, at Nick. He brought his arm that quickly encrusted itself in ice, up to block blow, but it still severely damaged and knocked him back. Nick's eyes widened as he realized that the projectile was non-other than a Kingdom Key, which had to belong to... The key burst into light and reappeared in Sora's hands, who, from afar, shouted something dumb, like "Where's Kairi!?" Are you kidding me? Donald and Goofy weren't present, which Nick supposed was a plus, but this was still going to be difficult. If you think I'm talking about fighting Sora, that hadn't even occurred to Nick; all that was on his mind was escape. Even from the distance, he could feel Sora's incredibly strong light eating away at his energy. So this is why the villains can never seem to beat him... Nick quickly formulated a clever plan, and summoned a motionless, exact copy of himself directly in front of Sora out of a burst of shadows. The young hero jumped back in surprise, and Nick used the confusion as an opportunity to sprint down the nearest alley. Sora cautiously circled the ice sculpture for a bit, then cleanly sliced it in half, scowling, as it shattered. He quickly ran off in search of his real opponent.
  22. "Xehanort? The author and scientist? I've read several of his works. However, Heartless weren't mentioned until the very newest issues, and there was some talk of white, empty shells. I see now. Heartless, Nobodies, and Keyblades. I thought the writings were a bit far off, but they seem true." Nick acknowledges Leatus with a nod and stands straighter. "I'm Nick. Tell me, have you met Xehanort? His journals are from a couple decades ago. Any idea what he's doing now, or if he's still around?"
  23. Nick noticed someone approaching and quickly placed his hands on the wall behind him, letting darkness spread and mold it into a Corridor of Darkness. Wait, I can't run away from everything. Besides she looks nice, enough, I guess. Without removing his hood, he said very curtly, "Hello." The darkness faded from the wall, as he brought his hands down, and he continued, "Would you, by any chance, know what those creatures are? Those people, also, what kind of weapons are they fighting with?"
