Kingdom Hearts: Revelation (RP)
((Sorry, it was just one line to help everything flow a bit.)) Nick was sitting wide eye'd on a rooftop, watching the battle unfold. As the expert strikes and enormous bursts of energy finally ended, the winged character seemed to fade into light. Nick quickly stood and created a Corridor of Darkness. He needed to get out of there, before the blue-haired man had time to turn his attention, and he wanted to find out more about all the monsters running around. Nick willed the portal to take him anywhere where he could get information about the ongoing skirmishes. Stepping out into the familiar Radiant Guardian, Nick sighed from nostalgia. But I've already researched everything here... He heard some clanging in the distance and ran over to find a swarm of monsters and three combatants with strange swords, similar to that of the winged creature. Completely caught off guard, Nick shrank into a corner and watched.

Kingdom Hearts: Revelation (RP)
Nick sat on a rooftop and sighed, considering moving on to another world. That's when he noticed a creature in the sky, flapping bright, golden wings and brandishing a weapon at a man in a coat similar to Nick's. The thing in the sky seemed to be tensing for attack, and the man facing it slid off his hood, revealing pale, blue hair. He summoned an ornate, club-like, silvery blue weapon and adopted a fighting stance. That doesn't seem very fair. Nick waved his hand, and a light snowfall formed in the sky around the flying combatant. He snapped his fingers, and the snowflakes began crackling with dark sparks, which irritated and forced the creature to the ground, in front of the coated man. Smiling to himself, Nick thought, I hope he appreciates this. (Basically, I just put Zion on level with Isa.)

Kingdom Hearts: Revelation (RP)
Nick stepped out of the Corridor of Darkness in a town. Its pale, faded orange bricks complemented the sunlight nicely, and a tram chugged by. He noted with disappointment that the armor and weapon stores were closed and figured it was related to the white and black creatures running around. Nick found that if he focused on emitting and radiating his heart's darkness, most wouldn't bother him. A small fire had broken out, due to a malfunctioning electricity grid, smashed by some beast, and he focused on creating a light snowfall over the area. Nick hoped no one would notice the slight weather changes.

Kingdom Hearts: Revelations (Sign Ups & Discussion)
Edited a tad with more details (Because there aren't already enough) Name: NickAge: 17Gender: MaleAlignment: DarkClass: Keyblade NewbieWeapon: Frost Bite (Made up name for an ice based keyblade)Appearance: Short, athletic, and a magically blue tinted (See profile picture) Organization coat conceals the rest of his featuresHome World: The World That Never WasPersonality: Observing, unintentionally dark, calm, and politeBio: When the floating castle appeared along with masses of Heartless and Nobodies, the residents of the Dark City fled far from the area. They were able to live life somewhat normally and hardly spoke of all the chaos happening far off, hoping not to stir anyone's curiosity. However, a young teenager, Nick, caught some rumors and ventured to the outskirts of the populated area. Sure enough, he saw a small black creature that looked like a crawling shadow. Frightened at the thing approaching him, he desperately threw everything in sight at it until it faded into a wisp and sprinted home. Overtime, his curiosity and bravery/foolishness grew, and he ventured out again. Strangely, he encountered nothing. Journeying farther than ever before, he found a group of several the shadows marching somewhere in a hurry. To his terror, he came upon a plaza infested with the creatures and some even larger ones.Nick scaled a nearby building and watched as a boy in a black coat carelessly strode through. As the shadows blocked his path, two weapons seemed to appear in his hands. Nick sat wide-eyed and watched the boy defeat a considerable amount of the beasts in a flurry of slashes. Suddenly, the boy directed his attention to a skyscraper at the edge of the plaza and sprinted up it. Even more amazing than this, was the fact that a man with silver hair and a similar coat dropped off the top of the building a moment later. The two squared off at the bottom of the plaza, the man appearing to have taken one of the boy's oddly shaped weapons, and launched into an extraordinary fight. Finally, the boy seemed to win and raised his blade for a ending blow, but the man rose again. A chill flew through the plaza, and a blinding burst of darkness flew from the man. When Nick looked again, someone else was there, floating with a shadowy creature behind him. The new figure made quick work of the boy and dragged the body into a dark portal of sorts. After spending at least an hour trying to interpret what he had just seen, Nick, still utterly confused and shocked, climbed down from the rooftop and made his way home. However, with the battle over, some of the shadowy beasts had strayed from the plaza and found Nick. These were larger and had taken on terrifying, dark forms with claws and legs. There were only a few, but the things were fast, and even Nick's amateur parkour skills couldn't help him. Anxiously trying to save himself, he focused his fear, frustration, and anger into something he hope resembled the burst of darkness that the silvery haired man had let out. One of the beasts leaped, and Nick brought his hands up and looked down. Below him was a puddle of black. After a sinking feeling, all he remembers was waking up in Radiant Garden. Standing up, Nick knew it would be useless to dwell on the past and quickly got a job that paid just enough to pay for a room and food. He quickly educated himself about different worlds, the light, darkness, and magic with anything he could find. He even managed to get his hands on the writings of a scientist, Xehanort, who use to live in a nearby laboratory. Armed with a decent knowledge of what had happened to him, he began a new ambition to fine tune his almost non-existent magical abilities to a point where he could teleport himself home. Once, a man by the name of Leon, stumbled upon him practicing and glared. That confuses Nick to this day along with why the town defense system suddenly wanted to attack him. Eventually, at age seventeen, finding that he could launch blizzard-based attacks if he focused his heart's darkness and summon a decent portal, or as the books called it, "A Corridor of Darkness," Nick found his way home. There was a large reunion amongst him, his friends, and family, and finally, he revealed his plans to travel the worlds. First, Nick traveled to the spot where he had witnessed the epic battle. A bit more of exploration and avoiding the dark beasts revealed the ruins of a floating, white castle. Not wanting to get unnecessarily close to the pernicious looking, white creatures there, Nick only searched a bit and stumbled upon a coat like that of the figures in the battle. Having always admired the clothing, he promptly put in on. After he opened up a portal to a world he hoped would be random, a small shadow approached him. Nick raised his hand, and a couple shards of ice, crackling with black particles shot out of the air and destroyed the creature. Upon using this magic, Nick noticed that the coat took on a frosty blue shade. Pleased by the improvement, Nick slid on his hood and stepped into the Corridor of Darkness.

Kingdom Hearts: KHXIII (Roleplay)
I was in a pitch black abyss. Was this merely a state of mind? Did my heart wander to the Realm of Darkness? I wasn't sure. All I knew was that being that close to the darkness was recharging me rapidly. I could see how some would be scared, overwhelmed, frightened, or panic. Those were the ones who the darkness would devour. Those were the ones who would emerge from my icy coma a Heartless. Instead, I let it fuel me and made it mine, embracing the cool wind passing through my body. As I became more comfortable, I knew I would emerge with new abilities and was pleased at the thought. I wondered about the battle that was occurring and the poor girl but wouldn't let myself grow impatient, for that would be a passageway for the darkness to eat away at me. Suddenly, I felt a new burst of energy. Some outside source lending me power. The blackness began looking like cracking ice, and I was soon facing the sky, lying on my back. A Heartless suddenly protruded my view of the clouds above, and I opened my palm towards it. A chilly, light blue beam engulfed my hand and shot out a sword's length towards the Heartless, impaling it like a jagged icicle. I groggily stood up, my cold weapon feeling as weightless and precise as a laser. Another Heartless jumped at me from the side, and I turned to block horizontally with my Ethereal Blade. The beam was broken on impact like weak ice, but the snowy fragments fell onto the Heartless. They formed into expanding icy patches until the Heartless was completely enveloped and fell out of the air, hitting the pavement and shattering. I rushed and grabbed a smaller Shadow, holding it out in front of me. Darkness seemed to manifest from my hand and slowly spread and intertwine with that of the Heartless. A dense layer of ice perniciously followed onto the areas where I had overpowered the Heartless's darkness with my own. There was a crunch, and I dropped the now utterly petrified Shadow. It shattered on the ground, and the fragments faded to darkness. I paused for a moment and realized that these tactics would be extremely difficult to use on a human, due to their inner light melting it off or, if they were filled with darkness, they may simply be able to will the freezing not to spread. Following this, I concluded that I didn't need to fight these Heartless. They were like the darkness I felt in the coma, threatening to overwhelm me if I couldn't control them. I quickly willed the darkness in my heart to emit itself and resonate to the beings. Sure enough, they turned away from me and focused on the other combatants. I wasn't certain if they would become aggressive again if I continued fighting, so I simply willed any that had come close to the fallen girl to go elsewhere and stood by her. From there, I noticed another fighter, a girl surrounded in a maelstrom of shadows, swinging at anything in range. At this point, I began to feel like the only one without a keyblade.

The mobile version of the site could use a skip to last or first page of thread button and a "My Content" menu. It's very nice, otherwise.

Which gaming system(s) did you grow up on?
My first game ever was Kingdom Hearts. A didn't stray far from my PS2, except for GBA and some Super Smash Bros Melee at friend's houses. I feel bad for kids growing up now. They don't get toghether to play games like Mario Kart or discuss RPGs. No, they shoot each other over Xbox Live. Minecraft seems to be helping, but trolling is taking quite an influence. Sorry, if I got a bit caught up in nostalgia.

Xehanort's Guardian Heartless
I was thinking about Nobodies in general. The existence of Xion and her living through Sora's broken memories is similar or was at least good enough for the Organization (I'm guessing Xemnas, Saix, and pretty much everyone except Demyx could tell she was different). I agree, bringing her back would be confusing, so there will probably be a cutscene at the end of the game about all of Sora's friends and things that exist in his heart, which she won't be excluded from.

Xehanort's Guardian Heartless
If I hadn't started playing Kingdom Hearts in 2004, I would be so confused. Interesting theories, though. Speaking of Roxas, Namine, and Xion, I believe they're all Nobodies, correct? Maybe it will be discovered that they can also gain combat powers directly from the Light and not just Nothingness or their former selves because we know they can already feel emotion. Except, in order to get a fresh start on the good guy side, they've got to forfeit all their ill-gotten (Darkness and Nobody-Based) abilities and well... Looks like an excuse for Square Enix to restart the characters at level one. On a side note: I remember in some Final Fantasies that you began around level five or ten, which I always thought was sort of cool. Maybe something similar will happen for the characters, who it would be completely ridiculous to make lose all their strength. Sora: "Um... yeah... I haven't... er... fought in a while... I guess I gotta relearn everything."

I have the feeling we're going to be re-visiting the battlefield in Terra's Heart or a variation of sorts.

Kingdom Hearts: KHXIII (Roleplay)
I was awoken by a piercing scream and struggled to look around. Alright, Ventus is here, so this must be around Birth by Sleep... Wait? Two Ventuses? No, that's Oathkeeper and Oblivion... Roxas! Great, I'm stuck in a melting pot of the entire Kingdom Hearts Universe. I tried getting up to no avail, and my eyes nearly slid shut again, as I fell back down. They're struggling with all the Heartless. The girl's down. I gotta... I began focusing my helplessness into frustration. *Weakly raises hand, and a tomb of ice with the density of obsidian molds around him *Shadows teem around the pod, like electricity in water, and jolt anything that comes near. I couldn't extend the protection around the girl! She's not gonna.... I passed out, feeling guilty, weak, and sickened about what might happen, since I couldn't create a larger barrier.

Kingdom Hearts: KHXIII (Roleplay)
((So are basically all the characters, no matter what the time period, included? I'm hearing about Vanitas and the Organization, Ventus and Roxas, etc...)) ((Also, can someone teach my character how to open up Corridors of Darkness. He'd be way too frightened of where he'd end up if he failed, trying on his own.))

Kingdom Hearts: KHXIII (Roleplay)
I slowly opened my eyes, trying to stop the spinning sensation in my head. I quickly found that my bobbing vision was simply because I was being carried. The Heartless, they've taken me! I'm being abducted! Wait... no. It's the girl. This is a bit embarrassing... but I've obtained a sweet coat! The Heartless were gaining on us, and the girl seemed to be slowing down. I gotta do something! Focus! A icy mist, intertwined with dark sparks, surrounded us, and the coat took on a blue tint (See avatar). Focus... A rather sinister looking snowman appeared facing our pursuers. It briefly crackled with vibrant shadows, then went dormant and melted. *Passes out again
