Trust me, Mother and Xenoblade are the farthest things from mainstream games, they're really freaking obscure lol. The only reason people defend them with passion is because of how unknown they are. Just because they're unknown doesn't mean that they shouldn't be given a chance. Thats like saying any popular game is gonna be good,w hen you might have a diff. opinion when you try it.

Agreed. Although, concerning mature franchises that aren't JRPG's from Nintendo, Starfox and Metroid are good alternatives too. And then there's Mother...although that's just Mother 3 and kind of Motehr 1 too.

Same here, it can do it, but i might end up preferring the original though. Still, im sure this title is gonna be great. And then hopefully Xenoblade can continue growing as its own branching franchise.
