You may consider her character as a non important one but, what she actually is, is a main and very important character that didn't have the deserved spotlight yet. All she lack in is some room. She's one of the main protagonists, she's a Princess of Heart, she and her relation with Sora contributed to compose the "feelings factor" for which Kingdom Hearts is most known, she wields as Aqua's successor and, without even listing all the rest, she still has to play her role in Kingdom Hearts III which is said to be big. Just because she barely appears in the games doesn't mean she's not actually important.

I wouldn't leave out Kairi, Namine and Eraqus (especially Kairi). They may not have had much room in the series, but their role is very important
