"Okay..." Cory made the ball disappear. "If you promise to be nice, then I'll forever see you as an equal, do we have a deal?"

"Hey there," Cory said to the dragon. It was very pretty, the scales' color had a glow similar to her powers. She created a small ball of light and blew it to the dragon. The forest animals by the old woman's house enjoyed playing with the little balls. As soon as the animal would get a hold of the ball she would move it around for it to chase.

Cory looked around. She stuffed her hands in her pockets and said,"Is someone there?"

I'm in Twilight Town. I was free from housework and rants from a very loud old woman. She told me to get a job, but I won't. I'm going to figure out who I was before. All I had was a ragged satchel with my quilt and sugar packet in it. And then there were my powers, I can control them I could use them as shields and anything else I could think of. They were mine and mine alone.

An elderly woman took her into her cottage and asked her what her name was. She only thing she remembered about her name was C-O-R. She spent the next 10 years working for the old woman with only a quilt and a sugar packet from a place called "The Coffeebean". Tigress "Got it," Tigress replied. She turned and headed for a lab. She made sure her gloves were secure before ducking inside.

Tigress Tigress put the crossbow back on her belt. She ran over, "Will this ever get boring?" she thought. "Weapons, combat, and taking down bad guys being boring? Not a bit." Tigress then joined Red Robin inside.

Tigress "Got it,"she replied. She removed her crossbow from the strap on her leg. Tigress' favorite weapon was a bow and arrows, but she had retired it when she went undercover. She knew she could have introduced the bow to Tigress but with her bostaff, darts, crossbow, and the rest of her weapons, she couldn't carry it all. She still had her Artemis costume, it was in the trunk at the foot of her bed. Tigress loaded the arrow into the crossbow and aimed, "Get ready," she said, and in her mind she told herself, "Ready. Aim. Fire." The arrow was released with a thwack of the bow string.

Tigress "Ready as I'll ever be," Tigress replied and turned to Winter, "All you need to know about this team is that soon, you'll consider us your best friends and that the League respects us but don't mess with them. And remember not to die." All this is what you need to survive being a member of the Team, she thought. Kid Flash "Tree. Tree. Tree. Rock. Tree. Tree. Bush. Tree." Kid thought. He sat at the base of the 49th tree and counting. He took a snack from his cuffs. He didn't like wasting time eating, but it was better then passing out in the middle of a battle. Soon he was running again. "Tree. Tree. Tree. Tree."

Tigress Tigress walked over to Winter and stood by his side, they just had to wait for Red Robin to finish clarifying a few things to the others. "I didn't mean to offend you or anything," she started. "We've just haven't really interacted that much and I don't know a lot about you." After she got all this out, she took a deep breath. It was hard for her to share things like this. Talking to Miss.M, Kaldur, Conner, Nightwing, and Zatanna, that's easy. Probably because she's known them for so long. Impulse and Kid Flash "Luck, that's just what we need," Impulse thought as she and Kid jumped out of the Bioship and on to the roof and from there to the ground. Kid ran toward a corner and turned and was gone from sight. She looked at Mercury, "Should we start over there?" she asked, pointing in the opposite direction that Kid had gone. Kid was looking around at all the things around him. He saw trees, rocks, trees, birds, trees, squirrels, and trees. "Nothing unusual so far," he thought.

Impulse and Kid Flash "A bit grand for someone hiding from the Justice League," Impulse thought as she looked at the castle. She saw Kid staring at her, "What is it?" she asked. "I was just thinking that it's not like you to get so nervous over things that could lead to our very deaths," he said simply. This is true, when they were kids, he was the one who would get nervous and her that would calm him down. He was trying to return the favor. "Shut up," she said in a playful way. She smiled. "Mission accomplished," he thought, "I calmed her down." Tigress "I understand," Tigress replied to Red Robin. She knew he had been here before on another mission, there have been chemicals in the drink before and she was pretty sure there was still some chemicals in the drink. "Winter, are you ready?" she asked her other team member. Since she had rejoined the team, she spent most of the team's downtime with M'gann and Conner. She didn't know much about Winter.

Impulse and Kid Flash Impulse glanced at Kid Flash, he was surprisingly calm for someone so, well, impulsive. They were waiting for Black Bat to tell them the plan. The silence was only amplifying her anxiety, she started pulling on her red gloves. "Anytime now," she thought. Kid Flash was looking around, it was taking everything in him to stay still. Then he saw Impulse playing with her gloves and grabbed her wrist to make her stop but let go when she stared at him, it was always hard to figure out what she was thinking. Tigress Tigress was watching Red Robin talking to the other team members, she remembered Nightwing and how he had acted as leader on those rare missions when Aqualad was busy. She wondered what Nightwing was doing now. The words "We'll laugh about this someday," came into mind and she smiled.
