As Lucario spoke those words, The Beast appeared. Charizard - ROOOOOAAAARRRR! He shot flame from his mouth and flew in circles about the group a few times before finally landing and staring at them menacingly, fire shooting from his nostrils in time with his breath.

It took kev a minute to react to reyn's question. He shook his head and responded "yeah. I can do this. Just a bit nervous is all. Nothing I can't handle." He appreciated reyn's concern.

Kev was striding along happily. he had his sword drawn, but it was at ease, swinging in his arm to the rhythm in his head. he hadn't a worry about what might happen. "Never, what formation should we take? we've never really run scrimms for giant fighting." He said cheerfully. It didnt seem to phase him that they would be facing a threat none of them had seen. It wasnt really a fact that only NeverBetter could see. these things would be big, it was in the name, and mean. but Kevin just trotted along, munching on one of norts muffins, actually excited to be doing this, like it was some DBZ shit and he was a sayian. but the thing was, he wouldnt be any stronger. If he was beaten within an inch of his life here, he'd be no stronger for it. just wasting all the hard work he'd done over the years trying to make his parents proud and trying to become as strong as he could for Never, to repay him for showing some faith in kev when he was still a scrawny kid. When this thought occured to him, he got scared. he gulped the last bite of muffin down with fear. He didnt want to die. This was the first time he was afraid of death. Back when he was young, and he and his friends were in that cave, he wasnt afraid of dying. he was just, peaceful. He knew if his hand gave out and he fell, nothing would change. But now, he had worked so hard to achieve strength. He had people counting on him. Friends. Real ones, not the ones he had as a kid who hes never spoken to since he left home. People we would die for, if it came to that. He knew that if he could save even one of his guildmates, from anything, his strength wouldnt be wasted. But that wasnt the case here. If a giant ate him, or squished him underfoot, all his work and all his relationships would be gone, for naught. He couldnt die now. He gripped the hilt of his sword tighter. He shook the fear from his head and replaced it with determination. Dying wasnt an option here, so he wasnt gonna let it happen. If some giant wanted to eat him, he'd chop off its sodding head. He was gonna make it out alive and show everyone, not just Better, that he was strong. TL;DR: Kev just got serious.

Android 21 took a stance and looked at yukis hand strangely. "Looking through my data, this must be the human gesture for respect and a symbol of good faith." he squinted at yuki, then his hand, then yuki agian. "I accept." he matched yukis hand shape and held it parallel to yukis.

Android 21 - "I have no name. only the number i was assigned when Gero made me. i am android 21."

Chie - "Is that.... another android?"

Chie - shie statyed quiet in the back of the space. nobody listened to her anyway, so she kept her "This is bad" to herself.

Chie - Sigh."told you this was a bad idea."

Chie - chie cautiously followed yuki in.

Chie - "Yuki, DO NOT - christ, who am i kidding. lets go."

Del looked over at kirby. The images flashed in his mind for a moment,and he quickly shook them out of his head. "Y-yeah, i think i could use a hug buddy." he pulled kirby in. it was comforting. he let go and said "Thanks. I think roxas could use one too. He probably doesnt want to talk right now, but i dont think he'd object if you went up there and gave him a big hug." he smiled at the little guy.

"Well of course! I was just - huff - making a joke! No reason to worry." he honestly was making a joke, but something in axels voice told him not to say anything that might insinuate this mission not going off without a hitch.

"Axel.....huff...huff... you get in trouble....most...missions" He tried to joke with his friend, but being so out of breath was making it difficult.

Chie - Chie shook her head. "i really dont think this is a good idea yuki. you've seen his lab, lets go."

Kev had been standing where the group met for some time, unmoving and quiet. He suddenly blinked a few times and shook his head, regaining control of himself. "oh shit, they're gonna kill all the stuff without me!" He sprinted off down the street, and flew past the bar to the clearing where they had gathered. "Sorry im....huff....late.....huff...guys." He snapped to attention and held in his panting to say "Ready and willing Mr.Better Sir!"

Delsin plopped down on the couch and let out a long sigh. "Hey miles." he took a second to think of how to introduce what they had just seen but came up blank, so he just said "While we were hunting, roxas saw some people who had been hung. their bodies were just swaying there. i mean, it messed me up pretty bad, reminded me of my family and all, but i really dont know how he took it. he hasnt said a word this whole time." Del debated walking up there and trying to talk to the kid, but he figured he should just let him work throught this on his own first. they could talk about it later.

Chie - "Be careful yuki. we dont know what any of this stuff did, or maybe even does."

Gohan - "well, that didn't take long." Goku - "you weren't here for the rest of the fight. Even I was worried for a minute there!" Goku smiled and patted his son on the pack. Pawa - "yeah! We did it!" Chie - "that was fun!" Pawa - "well, I don't know if I'd call it fun......"
