The official North American Twitter account for Square Enix Merchandise has revealed a new image of the previously mentioned Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth By Sleep -A fragmentary passage- Aqua Play Arts Kai figure at the New York Toy Fair. You can view the image below: The figure will be released in July 2017. UPDATE 1: An advertisement for the Kingdom Hearts Play Arts Kai Aqua figure has been spotted in a Japanese store. View a photo of it, provided by @Phamboola on Twitter, below: UPDATE 2: AmiAmi has added a listing for the Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage- Aqua Play Arts Kai, with pre-orders starting on April 5th, 12am JST. The figure was previously shown at the New York Toy Fair and Nuremberg Toy Fair in February, where the release date was first revealed to be July 2017. The figure has a listed price of 13.824 yen, with AmiAmi advertising a 29% discounted price. The final product pictures reveal that the figure will not only come with the Play Arts Kai base, optional hand parts, and the Rainfell Keyblade, but also the Master's Defender Keyblade. UPDATE 3: Square Enix is now accepting pre-orders on the Square Enix Japan store for 13,180 yen (about $120 USD) and the figure is set to be released on July 8th, 2017. It's currently unknown when it will be available in the North American store. You can view pictures of the figure below: -

When I looked through the listings, only a few were actually for KH3, when you click them a couple were just general BD3 things. Also there was a cut scene designer job listing, something we covered at the end of 2015 in one of our articles http://kh13.com/news/square-enix-third-business-division-are-hiring-again-for-kingdom-hearts-iii. That listing has been around since 2015... But it doesn't mean they don't have them however, they can bring in people from other divisions.

FF7 remake by the looks of things, but lets not get into that debate here. I'd ask him something that I know he could answer. If you asked him when is KH3 coming out he obviously wouldn't tell you. My question would be more along the lines of If you were to direct a mainline Final Fantasy game, what would you envision it to be like?

In Japan everyone knows about KH, the box art doesn't matter over there.In the west it is very different.

I don't like the logo being used as the box arts, I'll explain why. This is the definitive version of the first 6 games of the Xehanort saga, a lot of people need to catch up to the series in preparation for KH3. Now imagine someone in a store, they don't keep up with KH news and have never played any game in the franchise, they see the box art with a logo on it-does it catch their eye? No, probably not. The NA and EU box art looks a lot more appealing and eye capturing because actual character art is being used rather than just a logo.

UCC Distributing has displayed a new set of Kingdom HeartsRockerz alongside the aforementioned Kingdom Hearts Domez figures by Zag Toys. The set consists of Sora with his Kingdom Hearts attire, Sora with his Kingdom Hearts II attire, Sora in his AntiForm Drive Form, Riku, Roxas, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Jack Skellington, a Shadow Heartless, and what appears to be a variant of a Shadow Heartless and a variant of Sora with his Kingdom Hearts II attire.
