Griewer

Goten and Pan stiffened as Goku's attack burst out of the car. The stopped midair and watched as the soldiers ran desperately away from their friends. Goku and the others afterwards headed towards the doors of the palace and the two of them decided to join the others, landing besides them. In the meantime, within the palace of Don Kia two of Kia's men entered the greedy king's chamber running and panting. "What?" Don Kia questioned, frowning. "What are you two doing here?" "Sir..." gasped one of them, a female with orange-colored hair. "The intruders! They are heading this way!" "WHAT?! What happened to the soldiers?" Don Kia yelled angrily. "And why are you two still here and not out there, fighting?!" "Sir" the other one, a short brownies being with pointy ears and a reddish beard exlaimed. "They are far too strong! Your soldiers had no chance of winning!" "Of course they didn't" spoke the fourth person in the room. "And nor do any of you! So I suggest you all take a step back now."

The soldiers, seeing how powerful their enemies were one by one decided to flee the battleground. Some of them barricaded themselves in the fort, the others sped away on their legs or on vehicles. Almost everyone decided it was for the best to leave these strangers alone. And while they all tried escaping, Don Kia still didn't recognize the severity of the situation, counting his money on and on, while his most powerful ally awaited their enemies arrives patiently. "It got quite silent outside." Don Kia noted finally. "Guess we're done, then?" "I'm not so sure about that." The other commented with a grim smile on his face.

"Get out gramps!" Pan yelled at Goku as she kicked the weapon out of a soldier's hand and knocked him out. "Or you'll be late for the party!" "Don't be reckless!" Goten warned her as he swept a man's legs out. "Or you'll get hurt!" The soldiers were lining up before the gate and tanks were arriving as well. "We should get moving or they'll get serious and someone will die!" Goten warned the others. "Let's find that Don somebody!" Pan commented. "If we can take him out, the others will drop down their weapons shortly! Come on, grandpa, let's go find him while the others take care of these dumb fellows!" And she jumped high, ready to soar across the sky towards the palace of Don Kia.

The soldiers - first hesitantly - opened fire. Not that it made any difference. Goten dodged the bullets and averted their attention by zig-zagging through the air. In the meantime, Pan rushed forward punching and kicking the soldiers, each of them gettig knocked out cold right after one another. The pair in the meantime tried narrowing the distance between them and the walls, on which the soldiers were given the same command and began firing at will. Inside his palace, Don Kia heard the noises of battle but didn't care enough to pay any attention to them. If he did maybe he would've realized that the shrieks and cries were of his own men, but alas he was to busy counting his money. For him, this all was just a distraction from something much more important. His wealth. Only that mattered. The fine paper at the end of the day, which took its rightful place alongside the others. "They should wrap up the shooting shortly. No need to waste my bullets." he grumbled oblivious to the fact that his soldiers were being defeated one after another.

"What is going on around here?!" a strident, high voice came from the beyond the walls. High above the the fortress the self-proclaimed ruler of the world stood, in all his 'might', looking down upon his soldiers and Yuki's team, an ugly smirk on his pinkish face, another person shrouded by hood standing behind him. "Those are the infamous visitors I've heard off? They are merely kids, take care of them, NOW!" he yelled at his soldiers and not wasting another moment on any of them, he turned and disappeared into his luxurious home to recount today's incomes. "I guess that means there's only one thing we can do." Goten said, looking at the others. "FIGHT!"

"What now?" Pan looked around, realizing finally that their cover was blown and that they were pretty much surrounded by soldiers, fully armed. "Should we take care of them?" "I'm not sure whether if that's a good idea." Goten said, getting out of the car and taking a look at the soldiers. "I mean they are armed, no? Maybe we could let them take us to their leader and talk to him about this little misunderstanding." He looked at the others expectantly. Pan shrugged and looked at how the others would react.

Even if the militia - which had fled back to the base - didn't report on their impending arrival, the lame driving skills and the noises coming from the car would've probably alerted the soldiers, who were more than prepared to meet and face the dangers. Heavily armored and armed men and women surrounded the slowing - and finally haulting - car and they all held their weapons up, ready to fire. So when the first car opened and a bratty girl kicked a small boy out and starting yelling at him for standing in her way, they suddenly got very...VERY confused. "Gosh, Yuki! I should've put you in the trunk, not Goku! You two are the same, always in the way..." She then looked up and smirked at the soldiers. "Great. See what you've done?! I'm sure it was your cackling that alarmed them!"

Just as Yuki asked, a large building appeared far in the distance, larger than anything they've yet to seen on this planet. Rich and grandiose, befitting the greedy bastard that reigned over the people of this land. It wasn't just a simple palace, but a fort as well, armed militia around it on foot, in vehicles, on high towers, scouting the terrain around them. "Looks like they're expecting us" Goten said a bit nervously. "Don't worry" Pan replied determined. "We'll take care of'em, right Yuki?!" "Just try not to draw too much attention to us. We're trying to infiltrate the base." "Yeah-yeah" Pan yawned. "We'll be caught sooner or later anyways. Lean back and enjoy the ride!"

"Absolutely!" shouted Pan with a victorious smile and 'helped' Goku in the trunk (which means she gently nudged... who am I kidding, she pushed him in), and closed it. "Hehe, grandpa in the bag!" she said with a mischievous smile. "Be sure to drive roughly!" and she jumped back to take her seat. "Alright, off we go!" The doors closed the engines started and the cars were on their way towards Don Kia's palace.

"Well..." everyone was looking for some room, but it was Pan in the end who came up with the idea. Her eyes flashed dangerously, and her smile was rather dark. "We could put you in the trunk... you fit perfectly!" "That's a bit rough don't you think?" Goten chuckled awkwardly. "Not at all! The element of surprise will be with us, then!" She said still grinning.

"Good call," Goten said and gave the boy a thumb up. "Alright then, you're coming with us. No crying or yelling though, we don't want you to spoil the surprise for us, alright?" The man nodded quickly, and Goten put him inside one of the cars before sitting in himself. "Come on guys, let's go then!" "You better be hurry." Lukai added. "The others that escaped are probably going to tell him everything so if you don't hurry they'll be waiting for you, prepared!" "Don't worry! We'll be fine, Goku is with us!" Goten said with a smile. "That's true," Trunks nodded encouragingly. "They'll be fine. Come on, we too have work to do." "Safe trip, everyone!" Lukai said and followed Trunks back to the wreckage.

"We should ask our friend here," Lukai said with a shark-like grin, turning towards their prisoner who had almost fainted seeing all these weirdos at the same place. Pan was the first one from the group to reach him and she grabbed the man's clothes and started shaking him by it. "Where is your boss?!" She said demandingly. "Um...maybe we should consider a more polite way? And certainly less aggressive..." Goten added with a perplexed smile. "Here then, you talk to him" Pan yawned and tossed the man over to Goten, who caught him mid-air and put him back on the ground. "Now then... could you tell us where this Don Kia is?"

"Pan could stay here instead," Trunks said and looked at the girl, who in turn stared back at him as if he had just ordered her execution. "What?! Not a chance!" Pan pouted. "You should stay here, you know more about the ship." She yelled and stuck her tongue out. "Well..." Trunks looked at the others uncertainly. "You are better with mechanics, then the rest" Goten put his hand on the boy's shoulder and nodded encouragingly. Lukai watched the robot with mild curiosity and finally said: "Let's call it Gill... it likes saying that word."

Lukai looked at the others, then back at the ship, then at the others again and sighed. "Well the aircraft sustained pretty heavy damage on the outside, the inside is pretty much alright. The thing is, something is missing from it and I'm not entirely sure what that is... but it makes it less then flyable. Someone with better mechanic skills should take a look. As for that Don Kia guy. Well Pan should beat up the man and get some information out of him. She might not scare him to death before spilling the beans." She looked at the others. "Here we stand. What's our next move?" Goten asked? "Don Kia will probably strike again with a bigger force, so we could go on the offensive and pay him a visit," Trunks suggested. "Some of us though should stay here and look after the raft, before they take it away. Goku, what's your take on the situation?"

"She's lost it pretty much right after she was born" Lukai whispered back grinning and winking. "But that makes her more fun!" "So, we can use this robot as the radar?" Pan asked, her eyes widened, suddenly finding her smile again. "Finally, something good! Now all we need is..." and thus half the groups stomach let out a loud bellow "Is food." Lukai said her smile turning sour. "By the way, what did you guys found in the city? Anything useful?"

Trunks and Goten facepalmed themselves as they heard what had happened. It wasn't enough that they landed pretty roughly and were assaulted by weird merchants. Now their radar was eaten by some small robot. What more could happen with them? "This is all your fault!" Pan pointed at Goku. "And yours!" she added and pointed at Trunks. "What now, then?" Goten asked puzzled by the events that transpired. "What can we do? Without a ship, without the radar?" "Well we can still repair the ship." Trunks said with a contemplating look on his face. "I'm not sure. What do you guys think?" He looked at the members of Team X.

Lukai started shaking the thing wildly in the air. "Why did you eat it, damn you?!" "What's going on?" Pan looked curiously at the two of them and the robot in Lukai's hand. "Errr... we... um." Lukai didn't know what to say, so she just bowed before them and reached out with the robot. "This piece of scrapmetal ate the radar!" she said pleadingly. "I'm sorry, I should've been more careful!"

"Alright...but wait...." Lukai started searching her pockets frantically, her eyes widened with horror as if she'd lost something. "Oh no..." she gaped and started searching around the spaceship. "Where is it?! It has to be here somewhere! Damn!" she pouted angrily, lifting heavy rocks and big chunks of debris, throwing them around (and giving the soldier near heart-attacks by doing so). Lukai finally settled as she saw a weird little object. She lifted it up and checked it. "What...is this? There's something Stuck in..." Her eyes suddenly became even wider. "Holy almighty. Don't tell me!" She started shaking the object wildly. "What have you done?! That was the radar! WHYYY!?"

"h-h-he's the boss around here! He confiscates everyone's ship so nobody could leave this planet!" the soldier said, while shifting his eyes from one girl onto the other. "P-p-please don't hurt me!" "We won't!" Lukai said with a smile - which wasn't a sweet, but rather a sly-kind of smile - and pointed towards the group that was closing in not far behind them. "But they might. So if you feel like telling us anything else, now is the time!"

Lukai watched as the men struggled against Chie, and when she heard the girl calling her her smile turned into an evil smirk much to the displeasure of the already frightened men. She took a step forward putting on an evil face and reached out towards the sky. Above her hand a small ball of light appeared. Lukai began to say words unknown to the men, and the ball began pulsing and became bigger and bigger. The men standing there turned white from fear as the ball became larger and larger, and some of them started running away, screaming and shrieking. Soon every men was running away, leaving whatever behind, trying to save their skin. When the last one of them got away, the white ball of light burst and small sparks were falling around, Lukai laughing so hard she could barely stand. This was her most very special attack, labeled the "scary ball of light" that was basically a sphere that she could only use to lit dark places. It wasn't even a real attack, but she used to scare people with it by saying scary sounding made-up words as if she were chanting. Against ordinary folks like these people, it worked splendidly. "They're faster than I imagined. Look at that speed!" she said while still laughing.

Lukai clapped her hands as Chie jumped up and sent a pink energy ball flying into the crane, which was immediately destroyed by the blast. "Nice job, Chie-chan!" she smiled and patted the girl on the shoulder. "But maybe we shouldn't start a war with them thirty minutes after landing. So go easy on the gentlemen." she said with a grin. After that she turned towards the men under Don Kia's command and bowed slightly. "We mean no ill will towards you or your lord, nor de we seek a fight. But if you truly wish to confiscate this vehicle, my will have no other options but to mop the floor with you all. And I must warn you, while she does seem harmless, she's like a wild little beast which you don't want to anger... I hope." The men looked at each other, confusion and hesitation clearly visible on their faces, but their leader still seemed to be fearless and determined to get the ship he came for and ordered the men to attack them. As they made their way towards the girls, Lukai patted the other girl on the shoulder once more then took a step back. "Remember, hold back or the ship will be even less usable!"

Lukai noticed the dust in the distance as well which was getting closer and closer at a great speed. She had a bad feeling about it but she was confident in Chie's and her own powers. Whatever was coming towards them, they'd be able to face it. "Just be careful. Get too carried away and you might destroy our ship as well." she noted with a grin. "If this indeed turns out to be trouble, I can't wait to see Yuki's face after he'll learn that we had some rumble while he was away shopping!"

Goten considered Yuki's idea and agreed to it. "It's a bit of a walk, but yeah, let's go back for them." he nodded. The group left the city and walked back across the field, towards the machine where the two girls were waiting for them. "I hope they found something." Lukai said. "This looks pretty bad, we'll need quite a few things if we ever want to fly this thing again." She looked at the broken spaceship and shook her head. "I knew I forgot to tell Bulma something. I should've told her to double check the parts just in case... but I did manage to forget about it."

"Enough!" Trunks said with an edge of irritation in his voice. "We don't want to make a scene here. That goes for you too, Kona! The last thing we need is for the locals to start noticing us. That can only lead to problems." "Agreed." Goten nodded, shooting an half-serious look towards Kona. "Let's get some rest, we're all tired. We should find a nice place to stay at, get some sleep and continue searching. Besides, the girls might be able to give us some news about what sort of specific parts to look for." "Look!" Pan pointed at a larger building. "That seems to be a hotel of a sort. Let's check it out."

Trunks stopped before a shop stand and looked at one of the items... and as he touched the product the merchant started his ode about how cheap his shop was and how great the item he was checking really was. Witihin moments other shoppers ran over the street with their own goods, trying to force it on Trunks.. and soon on the whole team. "This vase, check it out!" "Try on this pendant, it'd look dashin on you!" "No my earring is much nicer!" "I'll give you an extra pair if you buy mine!" The peaceful shopping thus has ended and it became a war between the merchants. It was terrifying.
