Pan accepted the apple and became silent immediately. The others quieted down as well, and continued their trip to the city, which became larger and larger as they ventured on. Finally, after crossing the border shops appeared one after another, selling different things. It was like a gigantic market, everyone was bartering, buying or selling, yelling over each other to give a better price or deal. It had a very unique feel to it, though it all seemed a bit to distand. "Let's look for spare parts" Trunks said to the others.

Some of the group laughed at Kona's screaming but everyone quieted down in the end. The team agreed with Chie's suggestion and they all parted ways soon, everyone going their ways looking for a way to repair the ship and get off this rock. Lukai immediately hurried over to the spaceship to analyse it and evaluate the damages. She wasn't an expert, but she had more experience than most of them. Trunks, Pan and Goten headed towards where Lukai saw the city and soon disappeared behind the huge chunks of depris and rocks. "I want to go home! This is all your fault!" she poted and pointed her finger at them. "No use pointing fingers now, Pan" Goten shook his head. "We'll find spare parts in the city, repair the ship and take you home if you want to." Trunks offered. "It wouldn't hurt if mom could take a look at the airship. I'd be much more comfortable traveling that way." After that they were silent for a while. "I'm hungry." Pan said finally.

"But how? We don't have equipment." Trunks said. "Is there even anything on this planet?" Goten asked looking around, searching for traces of civilization. "There was a city not far, I remember seeing it." Lukai added with a reassuring nod. "Alright then... let's go into the city!" Goten said swiftly. "Maybe we can find the parts we need there." "I agree!" Trunks said with a grin. "What about the ship?" Lukai asked with an innocent like smile. "Some of us could remain here and make sure it is not meddled with." "Meddled?" The boys asked with curious looks. "Who knows what people live around here. If we're unlucky, someone could steal parts of it by the time we get back." "I don't want us to get separated!" Pan pouted still sobbing. "And I want to go home!" "It is a little to late for that," Goten patted her on the shoulder. "But if you kiss Kona, she may give you back the key... if that helps." he said with a grin.

"Everyone in their seats NOW!" Trunks ordered the rest without hesiation and he too sat down into a chair, fastening the seatbelt. "Trunks... wh-why is that planet becoming larger and larger?" Goten pointed at the planet in front of them. "We're getting closer!" Trunks cried out. "Its going to be a tough landing everyone! Grab on!" Lukai yelled. The ship gained speed as it entered into orbit and gravity got a hold of it. Yells, cries, shrieks filled the transportation machine as the surface drawn nearer and nearer. To their luck they didn't crash into it but rather like an airplane they glided and slid alongside it. The damage to the spaceship was probably devastating anyways, but at least they managed to survive.

The atmosphere started to resemble a warzone as Pan's eyes almost shot lightnings much like her grandmother's, and Kona's words didn't help much to ease this. For a few seconds Lukai had this weird feeling that all of this would lead to a destroyed ship and a group of travelers without a transport. She stepped forward and opened her mouth to say a couple of words which could ease the tension, but before she could've said anything of the sort their flight suddenly started shaking far greatly. "W-What is going on?!" Goten asked surprised. "The ship!" Trunks responded. "It is like its falling apart!" "Wait...WHAT?!" Goten and Pan shot a very frightened look at the boy. "I don't know!" "Well then go and check it out!" Pan pouted. They rushed into the control cabin to see what was going on. There was a system failiure... some part of the machine was broken. "This is bad!" Trunks noted thunderstricken. "This is very bad!" Pan started sobbing and although Lukai tried to cheer her it just got worse over time.

"I'm saved!" Goten cried out happily and almost hugged Yuki... but thinking twice he didn't, he only took the medal and.... actually spent the next two and half hours in a separate room talking. By the way, he did it again the next day and the day after. And every day for the rest of the flight. Twice a day. After she finished cleaning, Pan wiped the sweat off her forehead. The room was finally glimmering once more and every pair of eyes were staring at her, not sure what to do with this sudden twist of fate. She looked at them: "What?" she pouted. "You should've helped me!" "Well, we didn't really want to get in your way." Lukai said cheerfully. "Yeah, you were very much into dusting, so we figured it'd-" "Not a word more!" She cut in angrily. "I've done my part! So here's what we'll do! Yuki and Goten and Trunks will cook, the girls can make the tables and Son Goku will do the washing after we're done eating!" "WHAT?!" almost everyone exclaimed in surprise.

The fight was over. Neither of the two would dare to do it. They groumbled something about them not playing fair, but the ship got far enough from the earth not to go back anyway. After that they shrugged as they couldn't do anything about it and tried to spend their time with somewhat less boring things. Lukai, who didn't really pay attention to all of this went back to the control cabin, trying to figure out where they should be going. "So how long before we can land?" Trunks asked. "I'm not sure," she replied, shrugging. "And where can I make a phone call?" Goten seemed worried. "Well, I'm not sure you can. Why?" The boy look horrified. "Oh no... I forgot to tell her, that I can't go to the date!" "Don't worry, Goten" Pan patted the boy on his shoulders. "I'm pretty sure they're used to it!" "You Little!" Pan laughed and dodged Goten's hand, sticking out her tongue with a mischievous smile. "This is going to be a very long journey..." Trunks sighed.

The boys looked at each other as if they key would've fallen into a pit of lava. They didn't know what to do, when Kona finally said that she would give them the key on one condition. "And... what is that condition?" Trunks asked cautiously as if even the question could've done him harm.

Trunks and Goten chased after Yuki but the boy fooled them again and again until they managed to crash into each other once more to the others amusement. "Don't give up Goten! You almost had him!" Pan teased the boy, who rushed after Yuki again. They almost had him, when he suddenly passed the key to Lukai. "Oh not you too!" Trunks said in disbelief. "Nah, don't worry. I'm not that interested." She winked and passed the key on to Kona.

"Well according to the radar the nearest one is at least two-three weeks ahead of us as well." Lukai said, as she tried to understand what was on the radar. "And although the ship is a lot bigger, its still not too big. Yuki, I hope're prepared for a lot of sitting around." "And don't even think about fighting in the ship," Trunks added with a serious face. "This transport is not capable of withstanding even a lesser battle, so please refrain from doing rash things or we'll end up dying in the middle of space." The warning was given and it was rather serious. Still, nobody had yet realised - well Bulma had, but she didn't make a big fuss about it - that a small part of the vehicle still broke off as they left earth. What that part was and how important it was however...not even Bulma could guess. She could only hope, that all would be well.

As the spaceship left the laboratory, ascended to the sky it gained speed and slowly it left the earth which shrunk into a small orb then completely disappeared behind them. The small dots which we call starts suddenly moved all around them - or at least that's how it looked alike. They were in space! YES! I made it! Pan congratulated herself in her mind. This was it! Her big chance to finally prove to her parents and every other old coat that she wasn't a simple child who couldn't take care of her! Then again this might be a difficult with this gigantic crew - she thought. Her eyes lingered on Kona, who she hadn't seen before, before moving onto Trunks and Goten the two boys who she didn't necessarily want along for the ride. "So where are we going?" Pan asked finally, looking at the others curiously. "Does someone know where we have to begin our search? Most of the crew looked at Goku, waiting for some sort of guidance from him.

Trunks', Goten's and Pan's eye widened as they saw the smaller army climbing on board the ship. Even Pan wasn't expecting everyone to come (she could do without Trunk or Goten for a start), but the greatest surprise came only after they all got aboard. After the machine transformed and became more spacious their jaw almost hit the floor. "No time for daydreaming," Lukai said cheerfully and Pan realized she was right. They still didn't know that she too was on board, so she had better initiate the launch if she didn't want to be thrown off. "Alright ladies and gentleman, grab onto your seats cause we're about to blastoff!" she yelled with a fierce and adventure-hungry roar and pushed the button which activated the spaceship. The door closed and an automatic voice told them that the launch is due in a minute. "Buckle up people!" Lukai said still smilling. "And remember, this is a non-smoking flight!" she too fastened herself to a chair and anxiously counted down along with the computer. Bulma, Videl and Gohan backed off from the machine (and gaped at the transformation, which wasn't all that visible from the outside). There were only a couple of seconds left by the time Gohan realized who was sitting amongst the other passenger. "Uhm...honey. I... I think we may have messed something up." "Why? What do you mean?" "Well...isn't that Pan?!" Gohan pointed at their girl, who was waving at them with a wicked sneer on her face.

As if Bulma and the others would've heard them, everyone suddenly turned towards the youngsters. "Inside! Quick!" Lukai yelled to the others after nodding to Chie. "Come on, Yuki" With loud laughter, the Shin-Jin girl dashed towards the machine and jumped in the cabin. Bulma did in fact try to stop them, but Gohan didn't move. He somehow knew this would happen, but he already made his peace with the young ones decision. He just hoped they would prove to be useful, rather than a burden for Goku. "Videl, is everything in order?" he asked. "Yes! all ready for blastoff!"

Bulma ordered the two boys - Goten and Trunks - into the machine, and went over to Goku to make sure he was ready for the journey as well. In the meantime, Gohan asked everyone else to step away from the shuttle just to be safe. Videl was at the computer, preparing the flight, inputing the last codes to get clarification and whatnot. Lukai thought this to be the perfect opportunity to infiltrate the machine. We need to get in now, Pan is probably ready as well. She thought and remembered the short interaction between her and Pan from yesterday. It had happened, before Pan left for the laboratory. Lukai had approached her to make a proposal, while the others were pretty much talking and not paying attention. She had known that Pan wanted to go as well - it wasn't a big secret really - but she had known that she'd succeed in the end, as they came from the future. So she had decided that including the girl in their plans would be the wisest thing. Pan was waiting inside the machine, and they'd need to get on soon if they didn't want to miss the flight. So carefully as to not invoke the attention of the others, she nudged Chie softly, giving her the silent, yet undoubtful sign.

"Why do WE have to..." - "Help Son Goku find those Dragon Balls?" Goten and Trunks asked Vegeta, as the man was dragging them both towards the machine. "I thought Gohan would go!" Goten added with a look of disbelief and horror on his face. "And anyways! I'm having a date tonight!" "Y-yeah...and what about the company?!" The two boys were obviously not interested in this journey the slightest and hearing their worried voices fill the corridors, Bulma and Gohan couldn't help but to chuckle. "Here are Goku's companions!" Bulma declared with a triumphant smile. "Trunks and Goten will be excellent and hopefully pretty useful!" "It'll be a great experience for them" Videl nodded in agreement.

Lukai greeted the "newcomer" with a wide, happy grin on her face. The rest however did not share her immediate passion for the creature, which wasn't all that new for them although they weren't too familiar with them either. As Kona appeared, Bulma and the rest, with mild interest and curiosity on their face stopped what they were doing and turned their gaze at the newly appeared member of Team X. "Who-who is-" Bulma asked before the chatter had started, but her querry was soon answered by the dialogue between the travelers from the future timeline. "The situation is getting a little bit out of hand" Videl said with a perplexed expression. "Don't worry, I'm sure they won't cause us much trouble," Gohan replied, trusting that the future child of his brother and his friends have indeed come here without the desire to cause them trouble.

Bulma, Gohan and Videl greeted the arriving company. They were still making last minute alterations on Goku's spaceship, but it seemed to be quite ready for take-off. "Looking good." Lukai nodded in appreciation. "So who will acompany Goku?" she asked the question in a as-a-matter-of-fact way, trying to disuise their still clear intention of joining Son Goku on this trip. "They should be here in a couple of minutes." Gohan said happily. "Who?" "Oh, you'll see!"

Lukai couldn't help but to roll her eyes. Talking about strength again. She herself was more interested in seeing other planets, maybe encountering another Shin-jin learning a bit about what she was doing in the Demon Realm. "At any rate, we need to be careful, since the others don't really want us to go." She said. "And frankly I don't want to piss them off too much, not until they finish our timeline machine at any rate." she added with a grin.

"I lost count after I hit 2000" Lukai added sheepishly. "It doesn't matter!" Chi-Chi almost turned into a Saiyan herself, with all the power emitting from her. "You are kids! You shouldn't be put out to such risks! Goku you'll get into a real trouble if you allow them on that ship!" "Don't worry mom, Gohan and Bulma aren't too keen on the idea either" Goten tried to calm her. "Oh by the way, I'll be off then. I can't begin to guess what Vegeta wants from me." he said and with that he bid farewell to the group. "We should get ready as well." Lukai said, sending a mischievous wink towards Yuki and Chie. "Let's go, we've got to be ready if we want to send off Son Goku!" An hour later they departed and bid Chi-Chi farewell, promising they would return shortly after Goku left earth. This was of course not their intention. In truth they all planned on infiltrating the ship.

"I did?" Goten's eyes widened. "Well...I guess I did, heheh..." He's not too sure about this at all! Lukai noted silently, seeing the young male's face. "So umm... Son Goku. Any ideas about where the dragon balls might be? I mean you do have a limited time to find them, right? We could... lend you a hand if you wan-" "Not another word about that nonsense!" Chi-Chi snapped at the Shin-Jin. "You are all still children! You shouldn't be put out to such dangerous things!" "Technically, I'm older than all of you combined" Lukai smiled and blushed slightly. "But thank you for your consideration. "Goten! As his father, you should say something as well!" Chi-Chi looked at her son. "Me?! But I... I don't even-" "Goku, you tell them, then!" Chi-Chi looked at her tiny husband with eyes burning with fury.

"In short, he thinks its amusing if someone gets soaked right after waking up. Gives you an extra push to stay awake, got to hand that to him." Lukai added with a grin. "From what I've heard he was often woken up with similar techniques by his father when they were training together." "Really?" Goten asked as he stepped out into the hallway again. "GOTEN! HOW DARE YOU TREAT THAT POOR BOY LIKE THAT? NO WONDER HE IS TURNING INTO GOKU!" Chi-Chi yelled at her son angrily. "What? Wait? I haven't done anything!" "Yet!" Chi-Chi snarled with eyes almost shooting lightning. "So what are the plans for today?" Lukai asked, looking around in the room. "Well, Goku's ship should be ready by early afternoon. You kids can go and send him off if you'd like to." Chi-Chi said in a more calmed, relaxed fashion. "Oh and Goten, Vegeta asked me to tell you that he's expecting you over today. "Today? What does he want?" "Well..." Chi-Chi suddenly went silent. After that she made them breakfast - a lot considering they had a guest with similar appetite as Goku had.

If there was a force not safe to be reckoned with within the whole wide galaxy...it was probably Chi-Chi, the wife of Son Goku. And now she was standing there in the doorway, soaking wet thanks to Yuki's little prank. Her face was motionless for a second, a blank expression... the silence before the storm. Even Goku seemed to be somewhat worried, who was watching the scene from his bed, half-asleep. "Mom, what was that noise?" Goten entered the hallway, yawning still. He froze in his movement as he gazed upon his mother, and the bucket lying besides her...then at Yuki. "Oh boy...now you've done it, Yuki." he said quietly, retreating back into his room. If the gaze of Chi Chi could kill, Yuki wouldn't have simply been killed that instant. He'd have been completely obliterated, his very persona erased from all possible timelines. Thankfully... this wasn't the case. "Manners, young man!" she said strictly, and went on without another word.

Lukai watched from outside, as slowly, one-by-one the others woke up. She saw Yuki and smiled at the young Saiyan's early morning prank but didn't do anything. She rarely did. She saw Chie wake up a bit later, then Chi-Chi, Goku and Goten. She was curious about who would be the target then again she was worried how some of them might react to it.

The way to Goku's and Goten's home wasn't that long, but it was full of fun and laughter thanks to mainly Yuki and Chie who served as the main showrunners. Back at home Chi-Chi made a gigantic feast between weeping and raving over Goku's sudden misfortune and the upcoming adventure. During the evening Gohan and Videl visited as well (Pan was misteriously absent) and they all had great fun, talking about the future, reciting the great battles. In the morning, Lukai woke up earlier than most as usual (she rarely slept for too long) and without moments hesitation went outside to stretch her body out. It was her morning routine, to practice a bit and get ready for the day. She lingered for a moment, watching Yuki and Chie in their sleep, then went on with a smile. It was another hour before anything interesting would happen...

"Are they always like this?" Goten asked with a sheepish smile and Lukai could only nod. "Ever since I've met them." She turned to Goten and bowed again. "Thank you for your offer, I think we'd gladly accept it... the invitation I mean." "Don't worry about it!" Yuki's soon-to-be-father said. "Let's go everyone!" he yelled at the others and ascended into the air. "I'll show you guys the way. You can have a long bath, some nice dinner and a long sleep there." And with that Goten soared above them and turned towards where they lived.
