  1. No problem! What's your opinion on that? Do you think it's coincidence or might it have some real influence to the story developement of KH3? Also for everyone, I added two parts with interpretation of the Names and Symbolics of the foretellers & Ephemera/Skuld. I would love to see your opinions on that as well as maybe some help with the missing symbols in the book of prophecies.
  2. Yes sure I can explain it, I had latin for some years in school, never thought it would actually help lol. The deadly sin Pride is called Superbia in Latin. Other names for this exact sin are: vanity and arrogance. If you look up what vanity means in latin it will say vanitate, which can also be called Vanitas. Also Superbia is the leader of all other deadly sins, that makes Vanitas/Perbia/Superb the Master of Masters. Also look at Vanitas, he looks exactly like a dark version of sora (Lion --> Pride) which makes perfect sense now. Yes, if they follow the naming so far, Perbia would most likely be the name I could se them using. However, it shows that there is some sort of connection going on between Vanitas & the Master of Masters since they're pretty much synonyms.
  3. Hey guys, I am about to make a list of all names of the KH chars, their meanings and symbols maybe & I am trying to figure out the Symbols in the book of prophecies that you see at the beginning of KHUX. The List is both englisch and german for those who might wonder. I would love if you guys could help out, the stuff marked red is Speculation, so take it with a grain of salt. My Names List so far (sorry for the look of it, cannot import it as an table like I have on pc: Foreteller Names Meanings Union Name Deadly Sin Anguis Master Invi Invidia/Envy/Neid Leopardus Master Gula Gula/Gluttony/Völlerei Vulpes Master Ava Avaritia/Greed/Geiz Ursus Master Aced Acedia/Sloth/Faulheit Unicornis Master Ira Ira/Resentment/Groll 6th Apprentice Master Luxu Luxuria/Luxury/Wollust Master of Masters Master Vanitas Superbia/Pride/Stolz Main Character Names Name Meaning Symbol for Sora Sky/Himmel (jap.) Gold/Sunlike/Kid Ansem the Wise Tutor Anthem The Symbols I need to figure out: http://imgur.com/a/RAlX6 I already have some ideas, for example on the second picture top right could be an hourglass. The hourglass is a symbol for fugacity and is often reffered to as "Vanitas". Another name that stands for fugacity is Ephemera. Could be a hint for a possible connection between these two. Edit: Of course the Hourglass could also stand for Youn Xehanort, which then leaves us with a 3-way-connection-thingy. As for the other symbols I have not yet found a logical piece of evidence, I would really love your help with this. I do all of this to understand more of the symbolism that is going on in the Kingdom Hearts Universe since most of the obvious stuff has been discovered/talked about, but I have not seen someone talking about these things. Also what I noticed is that there's some symbolism going on in general with gaming & alchemy, just look it up, you'll be surprised how much stuff there is (e.g. in Pokemon Sun & Moon). So I wanted to look it up and noticed that there's something like that for KH too. The Dive to the heart (in german it's place of awakening), for example looks exactly like alchemical circles that are used to create something, which is kinda what this place does, don't you think? With that I don't want to say I believe in alchemy because it's obviously bullshit for the most part, but it's interesting to see Nomura use alchemical concepts for the story of KH. This could lead us into getting a better understanding of everything going on which is why I really want to find out what these symbols mean. I hope the text is not too full of bads, I am german and not native to the english language. Your DommeUG // I have some new conclusions from the foretellers names. I researched a little bit about the symbolisms for the deadly sins and compared them to the animals they repreent. Ira, for example is often reffered to as a dragon, while in KH he represents a unicorn. Dragon & Unicorn togheter in the celtic mythology stand for the Good (unicorn) and the Bad (dragon) that have a infite fight. This picture is from an anime called "The Seven Deadly Sins" and the animals representing them are nearly the same as in Kingdom Hearts with the foretellers and their master. The self eating dragon, explanation above, stands for Univornis/Ira and stands for the Wrath/Resentment. The second animal is the bear, representing Master Aced. It fits his peronality really well since it's an animal of power. However it's a little lackluster when connecting tho the deadly sins. In russian mythology, you can sometimes see the bear as a Symbol for sloth. The third picture is obviously a snake, the animal that Master Invi represents with the deadly sin of Envy. Envy is sometimes reffered to as a snake thats eats the people from inside. The fourth animal is the Fox which is said to be greedy for knowledge. Representing Greed, this is Master Avas Animal. In mythology sometimes also the wolf stands for greed (greed for blood). The fiftht animal is a boar, but Gula represents Leopard, both representing the deadly sin of Gluttony. The Leopard is often a symbol for Gluttony in mythology togheter with 2 other wild beast: A Wolf and a Lion... The 6th animal is the Aries/Chimera. It is said that Luxury shows itself in 3 Forms: Aries, Human and Bull. It tries to reach perfection and always chases his goal as a lone wolf. The 7th animal is the Lion, I don't think I have to explain. Lion = Sora, Superbia meaning Vanitas as the last deadly sin. Vanitas looking like Sora. Superbia/Vanitas being the leader of all other deadly sins. That's just what I could find out about the symbolic meanings behind the Foretellers, the 6th apprentice and their Master. I will keep you updated. // There's more stuff that I found out on Ephemera, Skuld & a third person and how they connect to Sora/Riku/Kairi and Terra/Aqua/Ventus. Skuld means Guilt or Future and in norse mythology she's one of 3 Norns. These norns representing past (urd), present (verdandi) and future (skuld). The symbol for these three is a "triskelion". Ephemera stands for things that only last 1 day so on the one side for fugacity, on the other hand you could also say that things that only last 1 day represent the present time, something that only exists right now. This would make Ephemera a synonym for Verdandi/Present, while Skuld represents the future. The third person who represents the past has yet to be revealed, I cannot find any usefull names rather than "Ianus", who is the god of past/beginning & end. However the triskelion is also a symbol for the earth, water and air --> Terra, Aqua, Ventus & Riku, Kairi, Sora. Kairi's interpretation here is somewhat difficult, but it can make sense! Kairis literal meaning is enstrangement, which can stand for something that sets 2 things apart from each other. The thing that seperates Sky & Land is the Water on it's surface. Like I said, it can make sense, but it's a little more farfetched than the obvious Terra, Aqua & Ventus. This leads me to believe that the 9 people we saw in the recent update of KHX on the right side of the keyblade graveyard are 3 trios. Terra/Aqua/Ventus & Riku/Kairi/Sora & ???/Skuld/Ephemera. The ??? could also be someone like one of Mickeys ancestors (we get to know in KH2 that he has had a long history of ancestors) which would make the ucrrent King Mickey join this trio, or it could also be a completely new person we don't know yet that is somehow connected to "the past". Edit: Something I saw just now in HMK's video about Ephemera & Skuld is, that he points out that Skuld has yellow eyes & Ephemera has grey hair. These are the two Main traits of Xehanort. With the triskelion also being a symbol for mother, father and kid, Xehanort could be the Kid of Ephemera & Skuld.
  4. I don't really care if they bring them to PS4, maybe if it is through the backwards playability or how it's called I would play them again, but I don't need to play CoM or BBS a third time just for 30 FPS more I think ^^
  5. Yeah sure, but thats the thing with Kingdom Hearts. We have no really new Console Game for so long and because of this, if there's new stuff, people are getting extremely hyped like me and start thinking of new theories surrounding the new stuff
  6. There's little evidence, yes. But that's not to be said that we cannot start to speculate and collect ideas on who the master of the foretellers is and why he is acting so weird.
  7. Yeah I think the Master is a good guy in the first place. I mean the Foretellers don't seem to be evil at all, they want to protect their world and friends and they train the keybladewielders. Thats why I think that the Master of the Foretellers is also a good man. That's also why in my theory, when he realises that only darkness will prevail, the darkness in him consumes him taking over his body and doing the things mentioned above. This might also be the reason why Aced says that they need to ignore their masters teachings, to protect the world, because their master's gone crazy.
  8. Hmmm, these action would seem weird for the master of the fortellers, i think thats not the kind of person he is.
  9. Yeah thats also a possability, but both theories don't rule each other out, do they? It's just like another order in which events happen. I have a question thought, what or why merges them into one being?
  10. Yeah that's what I am saying at the beginning? The theory is about that the Master of Masters is a former incarnation of Sora & Xehanort in one
  11. Hey guys I am here today to discuss a theory with you that i have been thinking of recently. To kick things off, I am not a native englisch speaker, so if I make any mistakes please correct me and I will change it. First, here is the core of my theory. My idea is, that the master of the foretellers is indeed Sora AND Xehanort in one person. Before you say that thats bullshit, listen to what I have to say on it. I know it sounds crazy but let me explain you how this could be possible. The base for that theory is the rebirth theory, stating that the foretellers are former incarnations of Riku, Kairi, Aqua, Terra and Ventus. If you want to learn more on that theory please check it out somewhere, i don't want to explain it here. Yesterday, it was stated by Nomura in an interview, that the hooded guy in the trailer we saw for 2.8 on E3 2016 is indeed the master of the foretellers. Taking this into account we see him acting weird in the trailer. In the beginning he is more serious/dark saying the exact quote of last years E3 trailer "On this land shall darkness prevail and the light expire" said by young xehanort. Later in the Trailer, when the hooded guy talks to unicornis, he is way more goofy and acting like a child. It seems to be so weird that the hooded guys in the trailer are supposed to be the same guy, the master of the foretellers. But what if the master of the foretellers is actually a former incarnation of Xehanort AND Sora in the same body? This would first of all explain him acting so different in the different scenes. We have also already seen the existence of something similar. Ventus and Vanitas used to be one being too! They got split into two pieces. Ventus, made of the pure light of Ven, and Vanitas, being the pure darkness. But now, why should they become seperated later on? Well there is an explanation to that! The master of the foretellers obviously somehow could see the future or knew the events of the future. And because the "darkness will prevail" the darkness inside the master feared to die too, if it was mixed up in a body with the light. So the darkness took control over the master who then seperated the light from himself and gave it a new body, who's that body you may ask? Right! It's the 6th foreteller that did not receive a tome of prophecies and who didn't go on to become a keyblade master. I think i heard of that before! Thats right, Sora also was not chose by the keyblade and also did not succeed in the mark of mastery. But you may think to yourself, if thats true, why doesn't he simply summon the keyblade he owned as the master of the foretellers. The answer to that is easy. The Keyblade that was owned by the former master now belongs to the dark part of him. We also saw that in KH 1 when Riku summoned the Kingdom Key, Sora was not able to summon it anymore, so this concept of two weilders fighting over one keyblade is not new and the keyblade goes to the one with the stronger heart (that doesn't mean to the heart with more light, it can also be strong and pure darkness). But why didn't the 6th foreteller/light piece of the master not get a tome of prophecies or why did he not simply knew that these events will take place? Well the split left their signs, both parts lost their memory, but before splitting up, the master possesed by the darkness wrote down the events that are meant to happen, thus creating the book of prophecies. He then went ahead and gave his 5 students copies of the tome. He tells his students that he is going to do an "experiment", splits himself into two and after locking the light into a different body, he gets found by his students and after reading the tome he knows what is going to happen and got most of his memories back from it. (Remember what happened with Xehanort/Xemnas/Terranort after merging? Lost memories and got them back later on, so this seems very familiar, a concept we've seen already). He now says that the new creature made of sealing his life into another body is a new student, but he doesn't hand him the book (since he's new) and also doesn't claim him to be a master (same reason). After that, the events of KH X Backcover that we see in the trailer happen. Maybe the students find out about what happened in that "experiment" and that is the "incident that's nowhere to be found" (said by unicornis in the trailer). Urseus recognizes this and thus he wants to break up with the masters teachings to protect his friends and the world. It all lines up too perfectly to not have at least a small part of thruth in it. Who knows, maybe it's not exactly like I mentioned, but I could imagine it to be something similar to this. The last thing I want to mention is that a lot of people said that since we've heard the voice acting for the foretellers, rebirth theory is dead. But that's not the case. In fact it's kinda stupid to say that based of different voice actors since a vital part of rebirth theory is that it doesn't need to be the same body that is reborn, rather than the heart that searches for a new vessel/body. Since voice is something that is influenced by body, not by heart, rebirth theory is still very possible. Thank you for reading this, let me know what you think of my theory and maybe discuss with me on pros and cons of the theory. Cheers, DommeUG/Hazweiokopf
  12. You know that I said March 2018, not March 18th right?
  13. I did not say KHX was released on september, it's just that on october there was a lots of news on it.
  14. I don't think it's pure coincidence that the calendar used in the e3 2015 trailer matches exactly the release month of KH2.8. If you take 2015 - 2018, thats 4* 12 - 6 months to use = 42 months, you choose exactly one, it's 1/42 = 2,38% chance that it's coincidental the release month of another game of the same company, easy math. Even if you only take the 6 months of 2015 & 12 of 2016, it's still a 5.55% chance to be conicidence.
  15. So it turn out, that the calendar in the 2015 E3 KH3 Trailer actually hinted/confirmed a release date. Not the KH3 one, but rather a release date we didn't knew of when this trailer dropped, it's the 2.8 release date! In the trailer you saw a calendar that matched exactly with October 2015/December 2016/March 2018. October 15, lot's of news for Unchained X & leading into the fan event for kh3 in november December 16 Release date of KH 2.8 So maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybeeeeeeeee, a big maybe, March 18 Release Date for KH3?I still hope for a 2017 release thought.
  16. oh, sorry then guys just too hyped right now, I know that the castle is caslte of dreams, that was stated before, I just didn't know the town really, thanks for clarification!
  17. Hey guys, I just noticed 2 thins in the new trailer. 1. Aqua seems to be visiting worlds in the realm of darkness that she still has in memory, maybe even seing the worlds as they were in her memory. 2. She says "Not even Memories are save in the darkness" Both of these things hinting at her visiting worlds from her memory. IF the town really is Daybreak Town, like HMK for example thinks, this would confirm Aqua being Anguis/Invi, a rebirth of her or a descendant of her. Thats just my first thoughts of the new trailer. What do you think of it? Cheers, DommeUG
