They're much less strict about voiceover roles than they are with on-screen roles When Mitchel Musso was caught up in a DUI scandal, they fired him from all his on-screen roles on the Disney Channel, but kept him as the voice of Jeremy in Phineas and Ferb.

Well, I don't think recasting him would be difficult. They can probably find a replacement that sounded enough like him if they wanted to. But history shows that they don't actually care if a voice actor is controversial. They cast T.J Miller for Fred in the Big Hero 6 world even with his (then) recent reputation. And they cast James Woods despite... everything. The only difference is that they won't advertise their return like they do with other actors.

He was already controversial way before KH3, so I don't see why they would do it now

A playable remake of KHUX wouldn't even be that difficult. They already have a lot of the assets. They have the story, the worlds, the characters, gameplay mechanics can just be copied from KH3, etc.

I wonder... why a KHUX console remake is one of obvious choices no one ever seems to include in their predictions. Maybe it won't be announced tomorrow, but when they shut down the KHUX servers, it became obvious to me that it's coming.
