It's mechanics overall game Flow is ripped straight out of persona starting from 3 anyway. It's not just a simple oh this is just like Persona minimal comparison like it goes way deeper than that. It feels like they wanted to make a new Persona game but they wanted to make it something very different without being tied down to the previous conceptions of what they Persona setting should be

Nah this is definitely very much designed as a Persona game. It definitely harkens a lot more to the smt elements in some gameplay aspects but it leans much more heavily to the Persona side and it's not just because of five

This is just literally Persona 6 what the hell. I don't think that can even be properly conveyed because the waters per se have been muddied for years of people being like oh my God this is just like persona (5). No this is like literally if they made Persona 6 and called it something else it has the exact Persona formula of how the games are designed. They could have called this Persona 6 and I would have been like yeah I thought the series needed a shake up after 5 but I can still recognize it as Persona.
