I saw it as said as in said out lout. I get there are people that pay for in-app purchases on f2p gachas, though. I don't think it's so much "how much" they play it but the limited-time features that trigger the consumers impulse of FOMO. Not just cosmetic alterations either

None I say I get value's worth or extra value when I get plenty of hours out of a game for it's regular or reasonable price. At my age, games already seemed expensive. I believe the feature I wanted from FFXVI was the option to modify or customize the button mapping, which was of course tweaked after release.

The way you have to time button presses in a timed box to get perfect and continue a combo reminds me of the additions from The Legend of Dragoon.
