  1. That said, they might shift from the standalone "Avengers" moniker for future team-up ensemble films. Maybe A-Force, since it was teased in Endgame, or other similar team-ups.
  2. For the record, there's no confirmation that this is the end for Avengers films; it's just the end of The Infinity Saga. They've still got a huge slate of upcoming MCU movies (Spider-Man: Far From Home, Black Widow, The Eternals, Shang-Chi, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, etc.) and TV shows (Loki, WandaVision, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, etc.), so it's nowhere near the end for the MCU.
  3. Hard agree! I love all the characters/actors that only showed up in one or two movies who came back just for one scene in this. Natalie Portman/Jane Foster Tilda Swinton/The Ancient One Robert Redford/Alexander Pierce Rene Russo/Frigga Frank Grillo/Brock Rumlow Ty Simpkins/Harley Keener Maximiliano Hernandez/Agent Sitwell John Slattery/Howard Stark James D’Arcy/Edwin Jarvis (he wasn’t even in the movies! They brought him back from the Agent Carter TV show!) And I’m sure there are a few more that I’m forgetting.
  4. Yeah, I heard thAt he was going to be in it, but it felt kind of strange to just throw him in there with no prior reminder.
  5. Yeah, I didn’t mention that because Clint is still alive and well, so his show will make sense regardless. Also, for the record, I am HELLA down for Asgardians of the Galaxy.
  6. Oh yeah, they could easily just throw us a bunch of prequel/midquel shows and movies, but that almost feels like a cop out . That said, I’d totally be down for Black Widow’s movie to cover the notorious Budapest saga.
  7. Idk man, I have so many questions about upcoming MCU stuff. There’s a Black Widow movie in the works. There’s a show for Loki And Scatlet Witch+Vision And for Falcon+Winter Soldier Black Widow, Loki, and Vision are all dead, and Falcon is the new Captain America, so. Then there’s Guardians of the Galaxy 3.
  8. Oh snap, I forgot all about that picture. SO dope. Hulk/Banner has some of then most fun moments in the movie.
  9. Oh yeah, absolutely. No doubt about it. If I were any good at making them I’d have a folder full at the ready by now, haha
  10. And how about Cap wielding Mjolnir! Finally that Age of Ultron tease paid off, and MAN WAS IT AWESOME.
  11. Yeah, there’s more to it than that, but the Thanos they fight at the end of the movie isn’t the same as the beginning. They take care of Infinity War Thanos post-haste. The greater goal of this movie is for the good guys to get hold of the gauntlet and stones so they can reverse the snap. That’s another point I actually take issue with - I thought (based on the knowledge provided in previous movies) that the snap was intended to wipe people out, so their plan to have a good guy snap to bring everyone back feels pretty flimsy. But like It’s a comic book movie, so it’s easy to overlook things like that. They’re not always going to make sense, and that’s okay!
  12. I tell you what, I was not expecting them to kill Thanos in the first 15 minutes, but I loved how they got straight into it.
  13. Biggest spoiler of the movie: Korg and Miek play Fortnite. This is not a joke.
  14. Agreed. The female hero/A-Force bit was simultaneously awesome as hell, and ham-fisted lip service. It made me really, really want an A-Force movie, because I do genuinely love most of those characters. But a) having every single female hero just conveniently be right next to each other at the same time is a bit eye-rolly, and b) after watching Captain Marvel just blast through a ship and take the gauntlet on her own, it doesn’t feel like she’d need any help taking it to where it needs to be. So the women being like, “don’t worry, she’s got help” was kind of a cringy line. But man, I’ll be damned if the scene didn’t still look cool as hell.
