  1. This was definitely the corniest Kingdom hearts game I’ve played but I have a hunch that this was the last time we’ll see a childish Sora. Especially with the secret ending I think square is going to take a more mature approach to the KH universe in future games with less if any Disney influence at all. You can see the foreshadowing throughout the story line when people comment on Sora’s immaturity. When xehanort “killed” kairi I think it basically set the stage for Sora’s more mature personality in the next stage of KH games and with the exclusion of Donald and Goofy I think we’ll see a KH game made for the original fan’s age group. Don’t get me wrong, I love the Disney universe in the series but I think it’s time to move past that for character development. Just my opinion though, i’ve always wanted to see Sora on par with Riku. But to answer your question, I don’t think it was necessary for the story either.
  2. I agree. I had been playing KH2 solidly in anticipation of 3 and when I first started 3 I could immediately tell the combat was less smooth. I couldn’t pin point what was different until I read your post and that’s definitely it. This probably doesn’t make sense but in KH3 Sora feels heavier than he did in 2, it seemed to be easier to bounce between targets in 2. Another thing I didn’t like is you can’t hover in place when you use glide which takes away another combat advantage. Still a very good game however.
  3. Yeah in terms of actually playing the game Olympus battlegate is ideal. This is handy if you don’t want to actually earn the exp.
  4. By far best farm I found is near end game. When you get to the Keyblade Graveyard and fight the mobs of enemies, the battle only stops when you make the final attack via train command. What I did was summon the train and set a rock on my X button and left it there all night. When I returned in the morning I had gone up nearly 40 levels. You can also farm certain items this way too. Just bombard the battlefield by train, cancel the ride and collect. It takes a minute or so for the ride command to come back but the enemies here are weak and easy to take care of while you wait. *CAUTIONARY NOTE* I did this on my critical file and it honestly made the end battles way less fun because I was over leveled and blew through it like it was beginner, so if you want the level up but also want to genuinely beat critical mode I recommend creating a save file before you land on the graveyard world.
