  1. So recently they pushed out an update to Unreal Engine 5 Called 5.1. It adds something called Nanite, which is something that helps you retain foliage and other texture detail without costing too much performance power I saw it in action, and I am like, if the forest we saw in the trailer turns out to use that, then it will look AMAZING when cranked high up. To be fair, KH3's graphics already impressed me, so I am optimistic on what they will be able to do with the new UE5
  2. At least, I heard that the shortage is still expected to go until 2024 at LEAST.
  3. Mmm, so here's the thing. Consider a 2024 release date ..then maybe, just MAYBE PS5s will be easier to find because fingers crossed the chip shortage subsides
  4. Not just that but as Nomura alluded to in an interview, that trailer we saw? It was UE4 But they're developing it in UE5!
  5. does getting the KH All-in-One package count as multiple lol Because that one has what, 1...2...3...4....5...?
  6. "It doesn't shutdown within a few years" will...unfortunately depend on how much money it will make. lol That's the cruel reality of a gacha game. If it doesn't print money, chances are it won't stay alive for long. There are some exceptions to this of course, but they're very specific and few and far between
  7. There's seven numbered episodes And an eighth that just says "Final Episode"
  8. I wish all cutscenes were liberated lol But well, maybe someone will figure out a way to cheat engine it? It's not connected to any server Soooooo
  9. This video explains it all lol
  10. KH4は何? (What is KH4?) Nomura: KHは何でしょう (笑) (Yes, what is Kingdom Hearts? (laughs))
  11. Famitsu made damn sure to have tons of asterisks saying it's still too early to draw conclusions, tbh I swear, as I read that interview, the amount of asterisks were insane
  12. I mean, in a Famitsu interview, Nomura did say they experimented with "seasonal" skins for the city, I believe.
  13. I think the bot confused the Shinjis?
  14. Not just his, but Square's stance can change anytime, for better...or worse. COUGH* Final Fantasy Versus XIII *COUGH COUGH Yes. I know the chances of that happening are extremely thin, but y'know. Time and change stops for no one. Remember the KH3 tech demo?
  15. If Epic even wants to...
  16. Same here! But nope!
  17. This isn't a KH post but WOW The video shows a recreation of a station in Japan on Unreal Engine 5 I am aware that this level of refraction would be just too much, but man, it's so beautiful to look at and I can't wait for "the next time" Because as Nomura's interviewer said: "By the next time we see KH4, it will most likely already be in UE5."
  18. Nomura said the mobile games are their own saga literally χ> Seekers of Darkness > Lost Masters
  19. Hey man, I'm with the headcanon that we'll get some sort of 3.5 in the form of Verum Rex: The Game. Even though that sounds like a pipe dream that will never happen lol I mean, they gotta test the new UE5 in SOME way...
  20. さあ? (Who can say?) Oops, replied to the wrong comment sorry
  21. There is an official guide from Epic on the matter On how to move your UE4 project into UE5 without issues As long as your UE4 build is not TOO old, you should be fine And I believe somewhere in this chat we figured out the UE4 version KH3 is in...and I think it was "recent"...ish.
  22. Considering Epic is going through great lengths of making sure existing UE4 projects can move to UE5 easily...
